Chapter 1011 - Chapter 312: Teacher Raven and the Past_2

"What are you talking about?"

His voice unconsciously raised by eight degrees.

"Let's talk after I finish this game, Grand Adventure in the Magical World." The Female Titan's fingers swiftly tapped on the console, and the pixelated little character on the screen was chopping down trees.

She shifted to a more comfortable position, the hem of her T-shirt sliding to the root of her thighs. She bit her lower lip, completely engrossed in the screen, not noticing Ian's stiff expression.

"???????"

Ian felt like his brain was about to crash, the soles of his boots touching the glowing Rune Stone Slab, a subtle magic fluctuation emanating from his feet. This house actually has air conditioning!

Titan Magic version of air conditioning!

"So, the second transmigrator is Raven, or maybe there's no second transmigrator at all?" Ian had an overwhelming emotion surging within him. He vaguely felt that he was getting closer to some truth, yet that truth seemed to be shrouded in a fog, making it impossible to grasp.

Ian was still confused.

But he knew the Female Titan in front of him surely could tell him a lot of information.

So.

"That's not how you play My World..." Ian cautiously edged closer, guarding against a possible ambush while observing what game the Female Titan was playing.

Truth be told.

Ian before transmigration was also someone who loved playing games. However, having transmigrated to an era where video games were just starting, and being an orphan without conditions to play, sealed his desire for games. Even when he later had enough money to buy a console, he couldn't muster interest in games like Pac-Man that had just begun to develop.

Just as a woman protected by an eagle finds it hard to ride a chick's bicycle, after experiencing exquisite games, Ian naturally found it impossible to be interested in games like Pac-Man.

"Who would've thought, even in the Ancient Times, to see games more engaging than those in the nineties." Ian immediately recognized the game the Female Titan was playing—a pixel-style block world—one he knew all too well: "My World."

Not only that.

Ian also noticed on the screen of the game console in the Female Titan's hand, the displayed content wasn't the normal "My World" map but—this island's map!

He suddenly realized that this wasn't an ordinary game, but a bridge connecting reality and virtuality. The Female Titan wasn't just playing a game; she was controlling and shaping the world's terrain! It was no ordinary "My World." The pixelized island landscape was precisely this strange space he currently inhabited.

"Rumble~ Rumble~" The Female Titan was aggressively using a block tool to level a forest, and outside the stone house, the sound of trees falling could be heard immediately.

"You're using it... to modify this world?"

Ian's eyes widened.

"Of course." The Female Titan grinned, a hint of pride in her gaze, "My world is what I make it."

As she spoke, she violently dragged a cursor like a mouse on the screen, drawing a deep gorge. The originally gentle hills instantly became a sheer cliff.

Her fingers quickly slid across the screen, and the terrain on the east side of the island began to distort and reorganize.

Ian watched as she directly "grabbed" a lake, kneading it into a mountain shape like a paper ball. This was followed in reality by a series of earth-shattering geological movements.

"I was wondering why this island is so odd, with landscapes that appear to be moaning patches of collage! Playing games should have a sense of reasonableness." Ian couldn't help but exclaim.

"Can you not be so reckless?" He loved pointing fingers at others, as evidenced by his running small classes in Hogwarts; he enjoyed playing the mentor.

"Don't worry, if it doesn't look good, I'll just click this one-click restore, and it'll rewind time." The Female Titan waved her hand, a nonchalant look on her face.

"?????"

Ian wanted to ask.

But the next second.

A long, dignified cry came from outside—it was the giant Phoenix!

The Female Titan's expression changed instantly. She jumped up, not even bothering to keep the game console, tossing it aside directly and rushing toward the door.

"What's going on?" Ian hurried to follow.

"Has someone broken in again? Damn, why are there so many time travelers?" Her voice echoed in the air, carrying a rare tension.

The Female Titan, as the Prophet.

Clearly had something unforeseen.

"Who appeared? So, this is truly the Ancient Period, not some discarded fate or something? I thought I was stuck in some loop again."

Ian stood dumbfounded.

His inquiry received no response.

Because the Female Titan had already run outside, leaving Ian alone in the room. He glanced at the game console, still glowing, and the screen prominently displayed a line of ancient rune-inscribed text.

[Titan Core·Genesis Terminal]

—Authorization Level: Supreme.

My goodness.

So Titans create things this way? Or is it just this peculiar short Titan who creates like this? Curious, Ian picked up the console to have a look.

[Current User: Claire]

[Administrator Intervention: Magical Raven]

As he picked up the console, a line of text automatically appeared on the display screen.

"?????" Ian stared at the console screen, his fingertip hovering over the words [Administrator: Raven], his heart pounding and emotions fluctuating again.

"Just what exactly..."

Just as Ian felt increasingly bizarre.

Boom——!

Outside, a deafening Phoenix screech sounded, shaking the entire stone house. Ian quickly looked up, nearly dropping the console. He hurried to the door, and as he pushed the stone door open, saw the Female Titan—Claire—striding back, holding three Phoenix Eggs shimmering with golden red light, a proud smile on her face.

"Oh, it wasn't an intruder; it's my Phoenix laying eggs!" She lifted the eggs and shook them, looking very pleased, as the patterns on the egg shells slowly flowed like lava.

"We can have roasted Phoenix Eggs tonight!"

The Female Titan seemed to be flaunting.

Ian: "..."

Are we really that close?

He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but Claire had already stormed inside, casually tossing the Phoenix Eggs into a corner furnace. The flames roared up instantly, turning from orange-red to searing white, and the egg shells emitted subtle cracking sounds in the high temperatures, truly giving the sense of being roasted.

Ian's temple twitched.

Those are Phoenix Eggs!

Just roasting them like that so casually?

Who would actually eat them as eggs!

Moreover!

Phoenix Eggs are supposed to be incubated in fire!

"I can share half with you."

The Female Titan named Claire seemed completely unfazed by his expression, climbing onto that gigantic bed again, grabbing the game console and operating it rapidly. The pixel island on the screen continued to change per her commands, with some areas even warping and reorganizing directly, causing the real island to tremble as well.

"You..."

Ian took a deep breath, finally unable to hold back any longer.

"Am I now a second life? Was my first life Raven?"

Ian had already suspected something along those lines but thought it was too absurd, hence earlier trying to act as though the other had mistaken him for someone else.

He understood.

He had always understood.

"Hmm? Do I need to answer that question?" Claire's fingers paused, her purple-gold pupils moving slightly as she glanced at him, then continued playing her game.

"Teacher, you're finally asking the right questions." She said casually, "But you actually already know the answer, you just don't want to remember it."

Upon hearing this.

Ian's chest felt like it was being gripped by something. He indeed felt that some essence deep within his soul was awakening—memories deliberately forgotten.

Concealing truths he didn't want to face.
