Of course.
It's not a battle.
They soar in the sky at incredible speed, seemingly not enemies, but rather engaged in some kind of game. Even more laughable is the situation on the ground.
The situation on the ground also explains why this place seems devoid of a food chain. In the nearby coconut grove, a group of Pocket Monsters and Digimon are scrambling for coconuts! A bunch of Pikachus and Gabumons are rolling in a heap on the beach, with sparks and bubbles flying everywhere. Not far away, Squirtle troops are using their shells to strike a group of Battar Beasts.
All the conflicts revolve around the scattered coconuts.
What's so appealing about these coconuts?
Ian quickly saw it.
Bulbasaur wrapped its vines around the coconut and pulled it towards itself, while a Garurumon used its sharp claws to fiercely swipe, splitting the coconut open to reveal steaming food inside.
It's curry rice and roast chicken.
"This is crazy, what's so special about these coconuts?" Ian couldn't believe his eyes. He lowered his altitude and happened to see another coconut split into halves after being hit.
Inside, there was indeed no coconut juice or flesh.
But a steaming plate of twice-cooked pork with rice!
"What is going on here?"
Ian widened his eyes.
Almost suspecting he had arrived at a set of some otherworldly comedy film.
The aroma quickly spread, triggering a more intense scramble. It was more like everyone taking a bite, grabbing from each other, similar to a pack of dogs fighting for food.
Every Pocket Monster and Digimon looked like a foodie.
Hmm.
It indeed smelled irresistibly delicious.
"Is this the Titan that even sewed up Doraemon?" Ian recalled this thing was from Doraemon, not daring to imagine what kind of ingredient that expelled Titan could be.
This place stitched together from countless fragments of worlds, these creatures that shouldn't have met, and the physics laws defying all common sense—all pointed to a wild possibility.
Titan is also a Transmigrator!
"It's making me want to start grabbing food too."
Ian landed in the coconut grove.
The air was filled with a faint aroma of rice and caramel.
Prompting him to take a deep breath.
He wanted to eat.
"It certainly smells good."
His gaze fixed on several golden coconuts. These coconuts lay scattered among the silvery sand grains, with shells glowing oddly, as if imbued with a certain magic. As he bent down, before his fingers touched the rough surface of the coconut, a rustling sound emerged from the surrounding bushes.
"Pika—Chu!"
A yellow lightning bolt darted out from the bushes, Pikachu's cheeks crackled with electricity, its small claws going directly for the coconut. Following closely, a Gabumon charged out from the other side, baring its teeth with a fierce gaze.
"Hey, hey, first come, first served!" Ian clicked his tongue, quickly raising his Magic Wand, the wand's tip flashing with blue light, unfolding an invisible Magic Barrier in front of him.
Pikachu's Thunderbolt collided with the barrier, electricity scattering, and sand on the beach exploded into the air. Not to be outdone, Gabumon opened its mouth to spray a string of bubbles.
Which erupted into "pop, pop, pop" upon hitting the barrier.
Turning into fine light shards.
"I don't have time to fight with you." Ian sighed, his Magic Wand gently swirling, suddenly a few waves of mud rose from the ground, surging towards the two little creatures like living entities. Pikachu and Gabumon were flipped by the sudden mud waves, rolling a few times, dizzy, as they crawled up, vigilantly staring at him.
Their whole bodies had become dirty.
Ian didn't give them a chance to react, flicking his fingers, a few Magic Light Balls floated into the air, flying around them like Little Elves. Pikachu's ears immediately perked up, Gabumon also retreated two steps—the flashes of light clearly reminded them of certain unpleasant experiences.
"If you don't leave, I'll make them explode, okay?" Ian deliberately lowered his voice, pretending to be fierce.
Pikachu and Gabumon exchanged a glance, ultimately deciding to retreat, one diving into the bushes with a swish, the other running away on its legs, not forgetting to turn back and grimace at him.
Besides these two little creatures.
There were, of course, other little creatures wanting to snatch food from Ian's mouth.
A Gomamon charged out from the other side, opening its mouth, about to bite the coconut; while a Gadoduru stood coldly on a branch, its gaze locked on Ian's coconut, seemingly ready to strike at any moment. Ian suddenly waved his palm, magic exploded in the air into a brilliant spark.
Drawing an eye-catching trajectory in the night, accompanied by a low rumbling sound.
"Boom!"
Lights and shock waves instantly spread, scaring these little creatures into stopping their actions, backing away a few steps in fright.
"Waaah—!"
"Oowah!"
Several Digimon even turned tail to escape, while the remaining Pocket Monsters widened their eyes, cautiously watching Ian, clearly not daring to act rashly anymore.
"Really, is it worth it for a coconut?"
Ian shook his head, bending down to pick up three coconuts. They were much heavier than ordinary coconuts, with fine runes carved on the shells, like some kind of preservation magic.
Because there were too many little creatures around.
Ian retreated to a relatively safe sandy area.
The first coconut opened, and rich sauce aroma wafted over—teriyaki chicken rice, with glossy, crispy chicken skin, rich sauce, rice distinct and still steaming, as if just freshly served.
The second was braised chicken rice, with bubbling gravy, tender chicken meat, soft and glutinous potatoes, gravy soaking through the rice,
