Chapter 717 - Chapter 198: Riddle: I Believe in the Power of Love

Riddle actually walked into a trap?

To be honest, the development of events was more and more beyond Ian's original predictions. Before entering the Time Machine, he only thought he would return to Wu Orphanage decades ago, take a look at what his childhood place looked like, and then conveniently catch the cunning Tom who was on the run.

Who could have thought that not only did the crossing time change to two thousand years ago, arriving at a city doomed to destruction in history, but he also got involved in the past events related to the Black-robed Skeleton.

Each of these situations was more explosive than the last, but for Ian's big heart, it was not something he couldn't accept. It was nothing more than witnessing how exciting the history was. All those gods, legends, disasters, apocalypse, and whatnot would just become part of his life memory after he found the hiding Tom.

He was determined to catch Tom and then find a way back to the future, but at this moment, Ian looked at the handsome "senior" in front of him and felt like his plans couldn't keep up with the changes.

Tom Riddle, who had always been hiding in the shadows, actually showed up at his door! This was entirely contrary to Ian's imagination of finding the opponent and having a big battle before having to eliminate him! Whether or not to devour magic power was secondary; Ian's main goal was to eliminate future troubles once and for all.

Of course, upholding justice was also one reason since Riddle had delayed him for so long; he wouldn't be fair to himself if he didn't uphold justice a bit.

Suppressing anger in one's heart isn't good for the thyroid.

"Where did you take Malfoy? Did you devour my kind classmate's soul to complete your rebirth? Damn it! I will never forgive someone as evil as you!" Ian looked Riddle, who had returned to being sixteen, up and down. His expression was sorrowful and angry, and finally, he found a reason to take Riddle down.

What surrender?

It's all Riddle's cunning trick!

Ian said he wouldn't be deceived by the Black Demon King!

"I didn't devour him! He is still alive! He's just separated from me!"

Riddle looked at the furious little wizard in front of him, feeling his scalp tingling and a chill down his spine. Seeing the other's magic wand twitching, he hurriedly began to explain loudly.

"That's impossible, it's all your deceitful words." Hearing this, Ian frowned. Although he expressed disbelief, he did lower the raised magic wand.

The green light on it gradually faded.

Riddle secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

He felt momentarily dazed, unable to distinguish who was the Black Demon King between himself and the other... Weren't Hogwarts little wizards supposed to be full of love and justice!

Why does this person raise his hand to use Avada Kedavra!

"He placed a curse on you, then you plan to transmit this curse to me, thereby making us two peas in a pod, forcing us to find a solution together. Really, Riddle, you indeed have a calculating mind." Ian was quick to come up with another plan.

Of course, he knew he wouldn't be affected by any mysterious curse.

This fact.

He had unknowingly verified it at the temple initially; now, after the direct confrontation with Riddle, even using a mirror, he couldn't find that mark in his eyes.

"What curse transmission?"

Riddle was stunned at Ian's words.

He was shocked.

"I don't know! Damn! I only have the knowledge of a sixteen-year-old!"

As if justifying himself.

Riddle spoke in a somewhat flustered manner.

"Oh?"

Ian squinted his eyes.

"It's Helbo causing trouble! Yes! That despicable Helbo! I know you've heard that name; your knowledge of Dark Arts is even better than what I know at this age!"

Riddle knew if he didn't explain a bit, his situation would be far from safe. He was too familiar with the look in the little wizard's eyes, the same way Voldemort, himself, looked for excuses to kill.

Judging by one's own emotions.

Riddle thought that Ian's gaze was extremely terrifying.

"Helbo?" Ian heard another unexpected name from Riddle's mouth, "Are you teasing me because I'm bad at history? Helbo was from 800 BC!"

He pointed his magic wand directly at Riddle's nose, "Of course, like you, he has a Soul Artifact. Don't tell me you found his Soul Artifact and then brought him back to life."

It must be said.

Ian's speculation wasn't without possibility, as birds of a feather flock together. It wasn't unheard of for Riddle to find a confidant and then be betrayed by him.

"How could I do such a stupid thing! Do you think I'm as crazy as Voldemort!" Riddle quickly stepped back a few steps, covering his nose as if he treasured it dearly.

"Aren't you Voldemort?"

Ian sneered.

Riddle seriously corrected him.

"Yes, I am, of course, Voldemort, but the Voldemort you know is not me. I'm only sixteen now, completely different from the stupid version you are familiar with!" He seemed to despise the nose-less version of himself, perhaps another form of children will eventually grow into what they hate?

"Helbo's not a Soul Artifact revival, I can't understand his state, my knowledge reserve is only up to what I learned at sixteen."
