Chapter 445 - Chapter 143: Back on Track! Gravely Offended! (Part 3)

"The abilities you possess... will either willingly or forcibly lead you down this path. Just look at Daphne's change in attitude and you should understand the reason behind it."

"Ian, the wizards have longed for a king for a very long time." Although Aurora has a childish side, in certain aspects, she has always been more mature than Ian.

"Isn't there the Black Demon King? There's already two, and my uncle will be the third one." Ian blinked and quickly devoured the food on his plate.

"I'm talking about a true king... a king for all wizards." Aurora put down her utensils, watching as Ian snagged the last of her beef ribs.

"I fully support you in accomplishing this great undertaking, really, Aurora, since we're friends, you can just appoint me as a Witch Marquis with the right to print Galleons."

Ian laughed and gnawed on the beef ribs. He thought what Aurora said was too vague and distant, not something a first-year student should worry about.

"My grandfather says only you have the chance; I don't possess your talent and power."

Aurora shook her head.

Ian continued to train his jaw muscles.

"To sum up your grandfather's view, is it that power is my reason for being king?"

His words made Aurora's eyes flicker slightly.

"See, you've actually already been aware."

The German girl spoke earnestly.

"..."

Ian wanted to say it was a line from a game he played, but worried Aurora might ask what game it was, he simply coughed a few times and drank water to calm down.

"Let's talk about Miss Daphne Greengrass, you seem to know her situation very well, and also what's up with this 'Prince Resistance Alliance'."

Ian shifted the topic.

He never expected that after a moment of silence, Aurora would respond somewhat sheepishly.

"Because I'm in that alliance too."

The German girl stared at her empty plate.

Her voice was much softer than when discussing wizard kings with Ian earlier.

"????"

Ian choked a bit on his water.

"What the hell?"

He looked at Aurora with incredulous eyes.

"To practice the principles you taught me, of course, I had to mingle with them and befriend them, now they think I'm their spy near you."

Aurora's voice had a tone of feigned composure.

"Hiss~ Can they be any more outlandish?"

Ian involuntarily gasped.

"Haven't you noticed recently that the Slytherin students not only stopped provoking you face-to-face but also increased your favorability towards them slightly?"

Aurora casually chimed in again.

"Indeed, they've become much more polite and have shown me some respect." Ian recalled his encounters with Slytherin students the past few days who seemed not as hateful as before.

"That's thanks to me."

The German girl seemed to be seeking credit.

"My grandfather said that merely spreading this book within the academy would greatly alleviate some of the school's conflicts, and now it seems to be working well."

"I've also made quite a bit of Golden Galleons, which definitely deserves to be shared with you half." Saying this, Aurora pulled out an antiquated book and a bulging money bag.

In front of Ian, she opened it, and it was actually full of Golden Galleons.

"What kind of book can you sell for this much?" Ian curiously picked up the book with the title "Human Weakness: Prince's Secret," which even had Gilderoy Lockhart's signature.

This was clearly Grindelwald publishing a book under a pseudonym at the school again.

"Teaching other little wizards to respect me?"

Ian flipped through a few pages.

The smile on his face instantly froze. After a brief silence, he slammed "Human Weakness: Prince's Secret" hard onto the table.

"Damn! Isn't this the Muggles' parenting handbook!"

The little wizard's face started to flush as red as a liver.

His voice was agitated.

It felt as though he had truly been insulted in life.
