The hatching of the Phoenix Egg has finally made some progress.
This is certainly a good thing for Ian.
However, the situation he's not satisfied with is that the Phoenix Egg is absorbing the life force from the Dragon Egg and those other eggs rather slowly, and while its appetite is huge, the amount of "life force" it can swallow in one go is simply not enough.
"If you don't hatch tonight, I'll cook you up and eat you!" Ian chose to put some pressure on the little one inside the Phoenix Egg, though of course, he wouldn't be so extravagant as to want to make soup with the Phoenix Egg.
Even the book "Fantastic Beasts in the Pot" wouldn't dare to imagine such a recipe—perhaps because it heard Ian's words, the speed at which the Phoenix Egg absorbed life force indeed sped up a bit.
It mainly absorbs life force from the Dragon Egg, as the life force in the eggs of other fantastic creatures isn't particularly abundant; after all, few creatures have vibrant life while still in their eggs.
A Half-blood Dragon is, after all, still a dragon.
While keeping an eye on the situation on the Phoenix Egg side, Ian took out a book and started learning by cross-referencing Teacher Morgan's knowledge, and his [Magic Potion] was also about to reach Level 5 and awaken Extraordinary Traits.
"This assignment hidden within the Amortentia formula seems to touch on some sort of ultimate question." The more Ian studied, the more he could sense that what Morgan harbored was not simple.
Sometimes, he truly couldn't understand these old timers, as if the longer they lived, the more they liked to be like the Riddler, and Dumbledore and Grindelwald were definitely rising stars among the Riddlers.
Just like the time loop before.
Now when Ian recalls and ponders it, he can feel more clearly that the two of them were not right, always having the intuition that they did some other things behind his back.
"The mystery on Professor Ronnie Ehrich still hasn't been solved..." Ian was curious about the runes on Professor Ronnie Ehrich, and curious about how the two Old Dengs dealt with Professor Ronnie Ehrich.
What kind of magic is needed to eliminate a state of neither life nor death? Is it a revised version of All Curses End? Ian knew that all his doubts, along with the dispersion of the loop, had been buried into the dust.
At this time and place.
He was the only one who remembered the bits and pieces that happened in the loop, with absolutely no way to seek answers, and everything about Professor Ronnie Ehrich had sunk back into an abandoned fate.

...
Time ticked away second by second.
Ian's body leaned against the wall beside his desk, and this posture made him incredibly relaxed, looking a little like a layabout but definitely in a most leisurely stance.
Anyway, he was the only one in the dormitory now, and there was no need to worry about image issues.
The next two weeks of the Christmas holiday would also be like this, and even if he did something unspeakable in the dormitory, his two roommates probably wouldn't notice after they returned.
"I still have to try brewing it; I feel like this formula that can awaken passion could be applied to awakening dormant magic power. Could Filch, being a Squib, be saved?"
"Even if it really works, Filch has to be excluded, as he's a Squib, but certainly doesn't have the money to buy my works." Ian demonstrated the speed expected of a man of action.
He placed the Phoenix Egg, which was absorbing life force from the Dragon Egg and other eggs, into a box previously enhanced with an Enlargement Charm, held the box, and left the Ravenclaw common room immediately.
"If only I dared to stuff you in a money bag, afraid it would affect your little incubation process, I wouldn't be so tired." Ian wielded his magic wand to control the wooden box with Wingardium Leviosa.
He ran down the corridor and arrived at the Room of Requirement on the lower floor.
"Prepare the materials for me."
Ian pulled out his trusty Paru, letting the Dementor work overtime in the middle of the night. His Money Bag was like Doraemon's pocket, shuffling through it a few times and pulling out a pile of Magic Potion Materials.
After looting Snape's office several times during the loop, Ian now had the most luxurious material reserves in Hogwarts, which certainly supported his repeated potion experiments.
Experiments, after all, can't be expected to succeed on the first try.
"Bubble, bubble, bubble~"
Soon.
The Crucible, which was set up, began to fill with clouds of mist.
Honestly, Ian was ready for the brewing to fail, but it was quite unexpected that he failed dozens of cauldrons in a row right from the start.
Ian not only didn't succeed, but his proficiency in Magic Potion was also increasing very slowly.
"The method is fine, but the color and taste are problematic…is it the efficacy of the materials?"
Ian furrowed his brow as he looked at the few rare materials he had left. The few ingredients he had stored in loops were dwindling, and the efficacy of the materials he gathered later in the loops was getting worse.
To verify if his magic awakening potion was truly feasible, he couldn't use those materials from later in the loops, as sometimes the difference is as vast as miles from a slight miss.
Poorer materials were best suited for selling in Diagon Alley.
"If I take these things to Diagon Alley to sell, I'd be voted as the best honest seller of the year." Ian put away the low-quality materials and energetically dashed out from the Room of Requirement.
