Chapter 294 - Chapter 117: The Game of the Puppet Masters, Dumbledore's Scheme (Part 5)

"Haha, how about a simple game of Wizard Chess to relax a bit?" The chess player shrugged and looked up at the young professor across from him.

"Of course, no problem. Just don't cheat secretly, okay."

Arthur King replied with a light laugh.

His chrome green eyes focused on the chess player's hands, which were constantly arranging the pieces, and in his eyes was reflected the chess player's hand adorned with a raven-patterned silver ring.

"Speaking of cheating... modifying reality is the real cheating." The chess player didn't attempt to hide the ring on his hand, his gaze also fell on the hand of Professor Arthur King.

There was also a ring on that hand.

Glittering with a bronze hue.

...

On the bustling street, a seemingly unremarkable confrontation was taking place. Meanwhile, Ian had not succeeded in finding any trace of Voldemort.

He had meticulously searched every area nearby but hadn't even found a single nose hair of Voldemort's, left to marvel at how this guy's escape skills must have long been maxed out.

"There are the professors..."

Not only did he fail to find Voldemort, but Ian also spotted the appearance of several professors.

With his sharp eyes, he noticed a few small dots in the distance, which clearly didn't bode well. He quickly dismissed his magic broom and let himself be seized by the claws of a Fiery Fire Giant Dragon.

"Help! Is there anyone who can save me! Save me!" Ian shouted fearfully, waving his hands clumsily in the air before realizing that being caught by the head didn't look miserable enough, so he adjusted his position to hang upside down from the Fiery Fire Giant Dragon's claws.

"Where is this place!? I was clearly napping quite legally on the lawn outside the school! Ah! Why was I grabbed and brought to this forsaken place!"

He hysterically shrieked at the top of his lungs.

This immediately caught the attention of several professors who were using the "Finite" spell to eliminate other Fiery Fire Giant Dragons.

"It's the little wizard's cry for help!"

The head of Hufflepuff, Pomona Sprout, was the first to rush in the direction where Ian was. A few professors followed closely, and Filius Flitwick raised his magic wand to eliminate the Fiery Fire Giant Dragon that "grabbed" Ian.

"Crash~"

Ian started to fall rapidly, scraping off many branches' leaves as he pondered whether he should stop acting, or else he'd end up face-planting into the scorched forest.

Pomona Sprout quickly cast a Wingardium Leviosa spell to suspend Ian in mid-air, at which point Ian resumed his frantic flailing about.

"It's a student from our college!"

Filius Flitwick recognized Ian and exclaimed in surprise.

"Headmaster! Headmaster! Professors! I've been caught!" Ian tried to make his wide-open eyes appear both fearful and innocent, however, the three heads exchanged a strange glance.

"Mr. Prince, your skill in transformation technique has indeed improved rapidly, even capable of transforming multiple entities into Fiery Fire, I'd say even many of our graduated adult wizards might not match up to you." Professor McGonagall mercilessly exposed Ian's act, having had no intention of raising her wand to attempt a rescue from the beginning.

Clearly, she had seen through everything long before.

"Was it the Dark Wizard who captured me?" Ian's voice became a bit less assured, feeling as if all three heads had the eyes of an eagle, surrounding him as he floated in mid-air.

Especially the gaze of Professor McGonagall, the most piercing and severe.

"Transformation technique is a magic that is exceedingly difficult to hide one's style and traces. Don't forget, your transformation technique was taught by Professor McGonagall." Filius Flitwick's expression was very peculiar.

He proactively reminded the student from his own college.

Ever since realizing Ian had staged the recent scene, this headmaster had experienced a very complex array of emotions, given this fellow consulted him on the Patronus Charm only a few days ago and was now playing with Fiery Fire?

It appears that Ravenclaw College might not be producing Dumbledore, but rather Grindelwald!

Look at that wild combination of Fiery Fire and transformation technique... if only the location and magic choice were correct, Filius Flitwick would genuinely want to award points highly for his own college.

"Where did you learn such dangerous magic? And you're bold enough to use it so brazenly." Pomona Sprout covered her mouth, looking at Ian with a puzzled and uncertain expression.

Evidently, she had never encountered a similar situation in her teaching career, the overwhelming magical power within those Fiery Fires earlier had, for a moment, made her think Hogwarts was under a massive Dark Wizard attack.

Who'd have thought... it was just a little wizard? Pomona Sprout was the last to realize this, feeling at a loss for words, she truly wanted to ask Ian what exactly he grew up consuming.

Did he eat Mormon?

"I think we all need a reasonable explanation, Mr. Prince, what exactly are you doing?" Professor McGonagall surveyed the rather pitiful environment around.

The Fiery Fire Giant Dragons had been obliterated, yet the traces of the burned areas were unmistakable, especially where she looked at a vast scorched patch of land.

Practically, there's nothing left!

Like some fierce battle took place!

Even with the forest's self-restoration speed not being slow, cleaning up the ashes of Fiery Fire and applying a Growth Spell on the land, it would still take years to return to its original state.
