Chapter 101 - Chapter 98: Forbidden, Forbidden Card!

"Welcome, traveler from the Otherworld, Lady Mana has already told us the details. Please follow me this way."

In front of the main gate of the Secret Village of the Spellcasters, Tenjo Hikari and Mitsuzawa Daichi stepped out from the Teleportation Gate, took a breath of the air, and were immediately greeted by several Spirits approaching them.

The one welcoming them was a Female Spirit with deep blue hair and a Red Gemstone Headband. Tenjo Hikari thought for a moment, but didn't recognize her. However, Mitsuzawa Daichi recognized her at once and quickly greeted, "Ah, are you... Eldeen? Hello."

He seemed particularly polite, so Tenjo Hikari also greeted her in passing.

Eldeen? Tenjo Hikari carefully searched his memory for a long time before recalling this card from the depths of his mind.

Wasn't it a three-star Light Attribute Normal Monster with 950 ATK? He had seen it among the "byproducts" of the Alchemist of Black Spells.

Eldeen smiled, gesturing for Tenjo Hikari and the others to follow her forward.

The Secret Village of the Spellcasters was a vast forest, with various treehouses everywhere. Occasionally, faint golden lights flew past them and circled in the air, as if greeting them.

This place is really nice.

Tenjo Hikari waved his hand to greet those Spirits.

Along the way, he saw many Spirits, like the Doriado, Ancient Elf, Mystical Elf, Aqua Madoor, Lady of Faith, and even Kaiba Seto's favorite, the Dark Clown.

Eldeen guided Tenjo Hikari into a large treehouse within the Secret Village of the Spellcasters, which seemed to be a communication platform and guild.

"Hello, are you the two visitors from the Other Dimension? Thank you, Eldeen." At the guild desk stood a pink-haired Mage with wings, Injection Fairy Lily, a rather powerful card, at least in this world, quite strong. "Please leave your names and information here."

Tenjo Hikari and Mitsuzawa Daichi exchanged a glance, and Mitsuzawa Daichi couldn't help but sigh, "This really is the first time we've encountered such a friendly Other Dimension."

"Haha," Injection Fairy Lily laughed, explaining, "This Secret Village of the Spellcasters is a dimension where all Magicians can come, established and maintained by the Three Sages and powerful Magicians as a communication platform. Not only do Magicians come here occasionally, but other Spirits also visit this dimension, so everyone is quite used to it."

"The Three Sages, are they Ah Lai?" Tenjo Hikari casually asked.

"What! Ah Lai?!" Mitsuzawa Daichi's expression suddenly changed when he heard Tenjo Hikari's question, "Can we see that Ah Lai here?!"

Although Tenjo Hikari had defeated Teacher Daitokuji, Ah Lai left a significant impression on Mitsuzawa Daichi's mind. To him, that Ah Lai was simply an impossibly powerful Monster, almost altering his understanding of Polymerization.

Before this, even Tenjo Hikari only made him marvel at the endless variations of Polymerization.

"Do you know Lord Crowley?" Injection Fairy Lily was momentarily stunned by Tenjo Hikari's words, then laughed and said, "But that was a long time ago. Mr. Crowley hasn't appeared in the Secret Village of the Spellcasters for a long time, and we don't know where he is now."

Is that so?

Looks like my intention of nabbing a Summoner's Evil Intent here isn't going to be realized.

"You two can write down your challenge target here. If your target is interested, or desires to hone their skills in other worlds, they might accept your trial, and then you can proceed with the Duel Ceremony."

"I see." Tenjo Hikari nodded, then asked, "Can I write Dark Magician?"

"Hahaha, guest, you really know how to joke. Dark Magician is the most powerful Magician..." Injection Fairy Lily gave a polite, yet slightly embarrassed smile, coughing twice.

The Three Sages first, and now the Dark Magician, such grand aspirations.

"Of course, you can indeed write the name Dark Magician, and maybe several will respond to your summons, who knows?"

She didn't outright deny Tenjo Hikari's attempt.

Seeing this, Tenjo Hikari wasted no time, quickly writing down his name, introduction, slogan, and Deck, then adding, "Polymerization is the noblest form of summoning. I am a Duelist in pursuit of the extreme in Polymerization; if you wish to embark on the journey of fusion together, please respond to me!"

Then he swiftly penned a series of names.

Dark Magician, Chaos Magician of Black Magic, Magician of Black Illusions, Dark Spellcaster - Dark Magician, in summary, just try them all.

After he finished writing these names, under the somewhat awkward gaze of Injection Fairy Lily, the paper flew into the air, lingered for a while, then slowly dissolved as if nothing had been written on it.

"Tsk tsk..." Tenjo Hikari shrugged, unsurprised.

"Yes!" Meanwhile, as Tenjo Hikari failed, Mitsuzawa Daichi cheered.

He had written "Mathematician" on his paper, which flew into the air, turned in circles, then sprouted wings, gently brushed against him, and flew outside.

"Tenjo, I'm off!" He shouted excitedly, then turned around and hurriedly chased after the flying challenge letter.

"Mathematician, huh? That old man is such a kind person." Injection Fairy Lily smiled and congratulated him, shouting as Mitsuzawa Daichi left the guild, "Good luck, guest!"

Tenjo Hikari scratched his head and was about to write another application letter when a voice sounded.

"Hey, that young man over there. You're a warrior from the Human World, right? Interested in writing my name on that application?"

Tenjo Hikari heard the voice, turned to look, and his pupils contracted sharply, his mouth agape.

There stood a bald, middle-aged man in a clean white coat, wearing glasses with black lenses so dark his eyes were invisible, and a confident yet hearty smile on his face. Hands in pockets, a stance of unrivaled supremacy in the world.

"Ah, good morning, Scientist Sir!" Injection Fairy Lily raised a hand to greet him.

"And a good day to you, Lily." He took a few steps forward.

"You, you are a Magical Scientist!?" Tenjo Hikari's mouth dropped open.

A Forbidden Card!!

"You know me? Haha." The Magical Scientist couldn't help but touch his chin, laughing heartily. "It seems my reputation is quite notable in the Human World as well."

Notable is an understatement.

The corner of Tenjo Hikari's mouth twitched.

Before he crossed over, the Magical Scientist was known as the [second most powerful Monster in history], deemed the most unfair card in the OCG environment.

"I saw on your application that you are a Duelist pursuing extreme Polymerization. Coincidentally, I too am a Mage in pursuit of Polymerization," the Magical Scientist said, hands in pockets. "Although I don't plan to leave this world yet, I have many experimental products related to Polymerization. Would you like to challenge me?"

"I would love to!" Tenjo Hikari agreed without hesitation, writing down the name of the Magical Scientist on his paper.
