I was supposed to post this here yesterday morning, but I had a lot to do and ended up forgetting.
I'm here to let you know that, unfortunately, I'll need to pause posting chapters until Monday.
Some more serious issues have come up that I need to deal with first—things that simply can't be postponed any longer. I'm also going to use this time to finally sort out a few pending matters from the time of my military enlistment that somehow remained unresolved until now.
On top of that, there are several other things I need to handle… you know, the classic blah blah blah that starts appearing when you become an adult and realize life comes with an entire package of responsibilities that no one ever mentions in the manual.
Among these wonderful aspects of adult life, I now also need to get my damn driver's license.
And honestly, the price of it is just absurd.
Depending on the driving school, it costs around R$2,000 to R$3,500 here in Brazil, which is roughly $379.51 to $664.14 USD, considering the current exchange rate between the US dollar and the Brazilian real.
I honestly have no idea why it's so expensive. Maybe the license comes plated in gold. Or maybe the instructor hands you the keys to a Lamborghini at the end of the process, because otherwise it just doesn't make sense.
Fortunately, this can still wait a little longer. Thankfully, it's not something I urgently need right now.
In any case, because of all these things, I'll have to take this short break.
