It was happening again, Raelyth's nightly activities.
Valerie was laid on her side on the bed, clutching the pillow tightly as she heard the thrashing and breaking of glasses and vases. She had slept through it the past two nights, not once waking up, but today it was impossible.
Their day had been blissful; Raelyth and Valerie had taken Mande out for a ride. The stallion was still a bit aggressive towards Valerie, but with Raelyth's help she survived. She had been staring at Raelyth the whole day, wondering and waiting to see if anything would give out how he usually behaved at midnight, but nothing.
Nothing did. She wondered how someone could be so normal in the daytime, then mad by night. It was upsetting.
