Phase 3 good will event
The open clear skies had the full rays of sun shining upon a field, the light spreading across the wide green stretch of land like a blazing spotlight, with the loud sounds of galloping echoing through the air as hooves slammed rhythmically against the dirt track, sending small clouds of dust into the wind, to only see riders on the backs of horses with numbers on the back of their shirts.
The horses thundered forward with powerful strides, muscles flexing beneath glossy coats while the riders leaned low over their necks, urging them faster, the tension of the final stretch hanging thick over the entire field.
Commentary:
"In the lead is number 7 followed by 21, 13, 32 and 5 with them having the lead on the last stretch with only 3 laps remaining."
The voice of the commentator carried across the venue through speakers mounted around the stands, excitement building as spectators leaned forward in their seats.
A building nearby that appeared to have a bar and a restaurant for all the people sitting watching while many men wearing suits and with women wearing elegant dresses with small umbrellas to block out the sun, their chatter mixing with the distant thunder of hooves, a man with black spiky hair sat at a table by himself with a small scar on his lip and his visible muscular neck and broad frame noticeable despite him wearing a suit, the fabric barely hiding the dense build beneath it, while a young waitress walked over with a menu in hand as she looked nervous while looking at the man she was meant to serve.
Waitress:
"My boss told me to not upset this man, and that it would end badly for me if I did."
Flash back to 5 minutes ago
Boss:
"I don't care what you have to do but never upset that man, because if you do it doesn't matter which corner of the earth you escape to, his family will make sure everyone that ever knew you suffers a fate worse than death."
The boss's voice had been deadly serious, the kind that carried the weight of experience rather than exaggeration.
End of flash back
The hands of the waitress were shaking slightly as she stood in front of the man, her fingers tightening around the menu as she handed it over, the leather cover bearing his name in elegant print.
Waitress:
"How..may I serve you today, mister Zenin."
Her voice shaking slightly as she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end, a primal instinct telling her the man sitting in front of her was dangerous, as the man in question turned and picked up the menu, only to frown faintly when his eyes traced over the last name printed on it.
Toji:
"You serve South American dishes.. for starter Lavash.. for main course Churrasco with Chimichurri, and for dessert Oreo cake it's my daughter's favourite."
His voice was calm and casual, almost bored, like ordering food was nothing more than a passing distraction.
The waitress nodded quickly and walked away with hurried steps, relief flooding her chest as distance grew between them, while Toji turned to look at the tablet resting on the table, tracking the number 7 horse as it's in the lead, while the tablet clearly showed a bet of 1 million on it made by Toji.
The numbers shifted slightly as the race continued.
Then the phone next to his hand rang, the vibration buzzing softly against the wooden surface as a number appeared on the screen with the name displayed, as Ximena with the number clearly not being from Japan.
Toji continued watching the race for a moment longer before finally stopping to pick up the call with a faint frown forming on his face.
Toji:
"I'm in the middle of something right now."
His eyes never left the screen as he continued to stare at the shifting positions of the horses as number 7 moved down into second place, his fingers slowly curling into a fist.
An elegant mature voice floated gracefully from the phone's speaker.
Ximena:
"You're still gambling after all this time huh, I guess you never changed."
There was a light melancholy in her tone, a quiet disappointment hidden beneath the calm delivery.
Toji:
"Come on..come on.. gawd damn, does it even matter if I still do."
Toji not paying attention to her tone of voice, his eyes constantly watching the shifting position of the horse jockey while giving a half-hearted response.
Ximena:
"It matters because my daughter will end up clan head some day, I can't have your bad habits influencing her."
Her tone already revealing the pride she felt in the position of clan head, and the implications of bad influence that could ruin that possible future.
Toji:
"I think you mean my daughter, and if she can't gamble it all away what's the point of being Clan head."
His tone carried an ironically mocking edge, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly as if amused by the very concept.
The response made Ximena pause slightly, her earlier choice of words clearly not landing the way she intended.
Ximena:
"Where is my daughter Toji… it's time for Emi to return back to the island."
Her tone returned with the firm commanding air of a matriarch, the authority of someone used to being obeyed.
Toji:
"You know she is happy for once… so I will return her back personally that's my word."
A rare smile slowly formed across the face of the Sorcerer Killer, the thought alone enough to make Ximena pause on the other end of the call as she thought about it carefully.
Ximena:
"She made a new friend huh, they must be really good if they are able to convince you this much."
A small smile could almost be heard in her now softer tone, the idea of her daughter being happy clearly warming her mood.
Toji:
"Yea, that brat will for sure be suitable enough."
Even though others might not notice anything special in his tone, Ximena knew Toji better than anyone, and the quiet approval in his voice made her curious about this supposed friend of her daughter Emi.
Ximena:
"I will take your word for it, but if she does not return in a year from now.. then I will come to Japan and get her myself."
Her rigid tone returned, carrying the air of someone who had already made the decision and would not back down the slightest from her stance.
Toji:
"Sure thing miss Garcìa, you can even punish me by then if you see fit, that's if you're capable of course."
And with a playful mocking tone Toji smirked slightly, his eyes narrowing just a little as if he could already imagine the exact facial expression Ximena was making on the other side of the phone.
.
.
Far out in a building sitting in a board room was a man wearing a mask with another man that had a large ball like lump on their forehead and a creep aura around them as they spoke, the atmosphere of the room strangely heavy as if even the air itself was cautious about lingering too long around the two figures seated across from each other.
The room itself was quiet, the wide windows revealing the distant skyline of the city while the afternoon sun filtered through slowly drifting clouds, casting shifting shadows across the polished table between them.
His voice calm and not rushed as he explains the plan, every word measured as though he had already calculated every possible outcome long before the conversation had even begun.
Renji:
"The object for now is simple, and in the end we will get what we both want.. but in order to do that currently, only 1 teenage brat stands in the way."
His tone shifting slightly colder after an image of Satoru appeared on the screen beside them, followed by several historical images of previous Six Eyes Limitless users he had personally dealt with over the ages, each one another reminder of an obstacle that fate itself seemed determined to place before him again and again.
TVA leader:
"Yes Gojo Satoru the current bearer of both the Six eyes and the Limitless curse technique."
His tone reflecting the creepy smile stretching across his face, his fingers lightly tapping the table as if savoring the thought.
Renji:
"As you know his existence is tied to the plasma star vessel."
Renji moves a Japanese kanji tile forward, the faint clicking sound echoing softly in the quiet room as the visible board game being played between them continued like a silent metaphor for the plans unfolding behind their words.
TVA leader:
"Because of that, fate has denied the evolution of our God Tengen."
His expression contemplating his next words carefully as he moves a tile forward, studying the board like a man considering not just the next move but the next several decades.
Renji:
"So with this plan, we shall achieve what we both want."
A light smile spreads across the face of Renji revealing the stitches on his forehead, the thin lines pulling slightly against his skin as his expression deepened with quiet satisfaction.
TVA leader:
"What do you need the cult to do?"
His questioning tone revealing his curiosity more than hesitation, because even he understood the man sitting in front of him did not waste words without purpose.
Renji:
"I don't care how you do it but, I want you to have non sorcerers using kids of sorcerers as slaves, and or trafficking them on the black market."
His tone now turning dark as the atmosphere itself seemed to follow his mood, his face slowly becoming obscured by shadow as clouds passed across the sun outside the high rise building, dimming the light pouring through the tall windows.
Renji:
"Don't worry I will sort out the rest, just know the sorcerer kids will be delivered to specific locations, making it harder to track by jujitsu society using my connections."
There was a quiet scheming intensity within the gaze of Renji that made even the leader of the Time Vessel Association shiver slightly despite himself.
TVA leader:
"We can handle the rest but, how will this help the cause."
His tone questioning while revealing his desire to understand the benefit behind such cruelty.
Renji:
"This is stage 1, and this will be very important, in breaking the friendship of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto."
Renji's voice placating the emotions of the plasma star religious group, knowing exactly which strings to pull to guide them toward his objective.
TVA leader:
"I see, making it easier for us to deal with Satoru Gojo when the time comes."
Now full understanding was expressed across his facial expression as realization slowly settled in.
Renji:
"And this will plant the seeds that in future will turn them against each other, perfect for what I want."
He moved the final tile ending the game before the man in front of him even noticed the trap forming around his position on the board.
TVA leader:
"Then it's a deal, with this Tengen won't have a new vessel to reset her curse technique."
Renji clasped his hands together slowly, as he revealed his major card for the plan.
Renji:
"I also need one last important part for this to work, the Sorcerer killer Toji Zenin will be needed as well."
Confusion then formed across the face of the leader of the TVA, his brows knitting slightly.
TVA leader:
"It's been 9 years since he has retired, while his movements in the jujitsu under world have remained silent since then."
Renji shifted his sitting position into a straighter posture, already revealing his intentions through subtle body language.
Renji:
"I have a method for you to get in contact with him, but the only way this will work is you'll need his old partner to convince him to take the job."
The memory of Kong and his role with relations to Toji Zenin passing through Renji's mind briefly.
TVA leader:
"But since he is currently under the name of Zenin, he won't need money from us.. so how could we get him on board."
A faint glint appeared in the eyes of Renji knowing his plan was not so far from the realm of possibility.
Renji:
"Ooh, you have not heard.. he has taken the last name of his late wife, he is a Fushiguro now."
A face of shock appeared on the TVA leader only for it to slowly transform into a knowing smile as he already began considering what to do next.
TVA leader:
"That's perfect, my men can track his movements and find ways to take more money from him, since he was a known gambler."
Renji was already beginning to stand as his tone reflected the end of their conversation.
Renji:
"I will return when stage 1 is activated, and then we can discuss more onto stage 2 of my plan."
He stood up and walked out the room moving toward the elevator, the quiet echo of his footsteps fading down the hall while the bodyguard near the TVA leader leaned closer and spoke to him.
In a whispered tone.
Bodyguard:
"I don't trust him, what will happen if his plan does not work since we will be exposed, and deeply involved and implicated in things that will have the government on our necks."
TVA leader:
"Don't worry, I have faith in that man because he is the reason this cult even exist."
The worried tone of the bodyguard was the only thing that could be heard in the quiet room for a moment.
Bodyguard:
"But sir that impossible, the Star plasma religious group has been around since the Edo Era."
The TVA leader sighed quietly before beginning to explain.
TVA leader:
"Yes but one thing remains, all previous leaders of the group say one thing.. the man who carries the Star plasma Seal, is the founder of this Cult.. and to always show great respect and obey his every order."
The bodyguard fell silent, the weight of that revelation settling over him slowly.
The leader of the Time Vessel Association then stood up and left the room with his phone already in his hand, dialing a number as he began making phone calls to start the plan.
.
.
Back in Tokyo jujitsu high
With the only sounds heard being pained moans and hurried chants echoing through the halls of the medical wing, mixed together with the soft but constant hum of cursed energy circulating through the room, and the transparent light of positive curse energy flowing like a gentle current in the air as Satoru, Kusakabe and Naoya were currently being healed with the combined efforts of Shoko and Utahime.
The faint glow of Reverse Curse Technique pulsed rhythmically, spreading warmth through the room while healing flesh and repairing internal damage that would have left ordinary people permanently crippled.
With a pained expression on Satoru's face he held his stomach tightly, his brows furrowed while he tried to endure the uncomfortable sensation of healing.
Satoru:
"Hey hey hey, take it easy that's a sensitive spot Shoko."
Shoko finished wiping the sweat off her forehead with the back of her hand, strands of hair sticking slightly to her skin from exhaustion, followed by her usual sarcastic tone that barely hid the fatigue behind her eyes.
Shoko:
"Who else has complaints."
Naoya also smiled lightly in pain before deciding to comment as well, though his voice carried a slight strain behind the arrogance.
Naoya:
"You could lessen the force of your positive energy, it makes my insides feel uncomfortable, from your positive energy forcibly flooding my body."
Only a deadpan look now rested on Shoko's face as she stared at them, clearly unable to process the sheer audacity of their complaints after everything she was doing.
Shoko:
"Maybe it's best I just let you heal yourselves."
Frustration and stress flooded her now strained and tired brain and she abruptly stopped the flow of her technique.
Satoru/Naoya/Kusakabe:
"No wait Shoko!!"
Their panicked tones echoed almost in perfect synchronization as they immediately realized the terrible mistake they had just made.
All three of them quickly tried to amend their poor choices of words while looking visibly nervous.
Shoko:
"Both myself and Utahime sensei are over working ourselves, to keep you all from sustaining permanent damage."
Out of habit she tried to reach for a cigarette in her pocket, her fingers already expecting the familiar feel of the pack.
Only for her to find what she needed most was not there.
Shoko:
"Can someone hand me a cigarette, I need to smoke after this."
Her voice sounded dangerously close to the breaking point.
While this happened Gojo Mizuki and Kamo Aoi returned to the others that were watching the fight.
As they both walked together through the corridors toward the room where all the others were watching the battle before finally entering it.
Aoi:
"Honestly they did well."
He smiled lightly while remembering back when he himself was a first year student, the memory of his own brutal training and growth flickering through his mind.
Mizuki:
"They have passed, honestly deserve the promotion to Grade 1 sorcerer."
Her tone was no longer the calm and cold ice princess voice she used earlier when speaking in front of the others, instead sounding more relaxed now that the battle had ended.
Aoi:
"And that guy Suguru surprised me, I could tell that he was thinking of ways to counter me.. while watching from the sidelines."
There was genuine interest in his voice as he spoke.
Then their gazes turned toward both school principals standing nearby.
Yaga:
"Both Kyoto and Tokyo students have done well this year, and should get extra rewards from the higher ups if I guess correctly."
A much older man with a guitar case resting at his side stood nearby, his face full of smiles after watching the battles unfold.
Gakuganji:
"Yes but the level both Aoi and Mizuki have reached is comforting, to know that Japan does not lack talented sorcerers."
A tall girl with her hair in a high ponytail quietly snuck behind Mizuki before leaning slightly closer and whispering into her ear.
Mei Mei:
"So you're officially going with the challenge right… Mizuki?"
A light smirk was concealed behind her elegant hand fan as her gaze briefly lingered toward Yuki Tsukumo across the room.
Mizuki:
"Yes the higher ups should announce it, after the rewards are given to them."
In the back of the room Kurai Kai with Emi Garcìa at his side both approached Yuki.
Kai:
"Miss Yuki could you be my teacher, I have a feeling that I will gain a lot more, from you then from Tokyo high classes."
Her eyes from the perspective of Kai slowly began to turn into stars as she reached out and patted his head.
Yuki:
"You're quite a smart kid, I don't think there is a better teacher then myself, so you might as well be my disciple."
She nodded to herself as if what she just said was the only logical conclusion possible.
Kai:
"Can you teach both myself and my friend here."
Kai moved slightly to the side allowing the gaze of Yuki to follow and observe Emi standing next to him.
Yuki:
"Yes yes the more students the greater the teacher, as your sensei I will do my best to be a role model for you both."
The face of Yuki had nothing but joy as she spoke with warmth in her eyes, as distant memories of future events were already being imagined inside her mind.
Moments of her teaching them about jujitsu, sparring with them under open skies, showing Kai and Emi the advantages of martial arts when combined with cursed energy.
In her mind she could already see the admiration of Kai and Emi always reflected toward her.
Emi:
"Kai are you sure we will even learn anything from her, I mean look at her bangs.. what kind of person could live with their hair looking like that."
And the memories forming in Yuki's mind began to crack.
Then shatter.
All the joy collapsed instantly off the face of Yuki as she heard what Emi said, her face turning pale.
Before Yuki could even respond Mizuki walked over and stood in front of her before turning toward Kai and bending down slightly to meet his eye level.
Mizuki:
"I want you to be my protégé."
For a brief second shock clouded the mind of Kai.
Only for him to respond without hesitation on the outside.
Kai:
"Only on the condition that Emi can learn from you as well."
Mizuki was surprised by how calm the young boy standing in front of her was, it almost reminded her of a memory of her cousin Satoru when he was younger.
Mizuki:
"Your friend has no curse energy, but I still have methods to help her."
Mizuki's thoughts:
"I'm truly curious about this boy's body and why his curse energy has the presence of a curse spirit, and why he has another soul in his body."
The calm stalemate was broken by the shocked gasp of Yuki right behind Mizuki.
Yuki:
"No curse energy, wait you're just like that gambling man I met years ago… actually I changed my mind, you're Emi right.. she can be my disciple instead."
She turned to look at Mizuki with a smirk that Mizuki knew far too well.
Kai:
"Works perfectly for me, what about you Emi."
Kai glanced toward Emi to see if she agreed.
Emi:
"I don't know about this Kai, I don't trust this lady she reeks the aura of family less women."
Yuki:
"Hey actually, I already have a son.. and he is your age but he is no fun, he likes studying so much and is lazy when it comes to jujitsu."
Yuki's thoughts:
"Perfect now with her being like that man Toji, without a trace of curse energy I can study her unique body.. to further my research and watch her body develop."
She tried to give a warm smile.
But to Emi she could clearly see all the lies hidden within it.
.
.
Hours later outside in a difficult location with a stage prepared in front with speakers, linked to the microphones of the higher ups while everyone currently was sitting in chairs arranged across the open grounds, and the elders from the important positions known as the jujitsu society higher ups, voices were transmitted through the speakers to announce the results of the goodwill sister exchange event.
The late afternoon sun stretched across the sky as a faint breeze moved through the rows of seats, carrying murmurs from students and staff alike while anticipation built in the atmosphere.
Higher ups:
"We call Suguru Geto, Satoru Gojo, Atsuya Kusakabe and Naoya Zenin must come to the stage."
They all stood up as they glanced at each other briefly before walking one by one as their names were called to the stage, their footsteps echoing softly against the wooden platform.
While they all stood there Geto smiled calmly with his usual composed demeanor, Satoru had his arrogant smirk on his face only looking towards Mizuki's direction for guidance as if silently measuring the distance between them, and while Naoya turned to his maid with an indifferent gaze as if the entire ceremony was merely a formality, Kusakabe spun a whistle dagger in his hand with a neutral facial expression while waiting for the announcement to begin.
Higher ups:
"Starting with you Geto Suguru, you showed your versatility in many situations through the first phase, and also showed us that you are not the type to rush into an unknown situation but instead gather information before acting."
Their voice echoed through the speakers as the crowd listened attentively.
Higher ups:
"Through what we have observed from phase two, which proved to us that you can be very efficient even when assigned to missions not just curse spirit related, your composure and strategic awareness stood out among the participants, and with that you have passed."
Higher ups:
"For Satoru Gojo, you shoulder the responsibility of your Clan and their ambitions, but despite that we hope that your performance in the first phase does not hinder your future growth."
A short pause followed before the speaker continued.
Higher ups:
"And as for your second phase performance.. we are impressed by your genius when it came to using chants, as we know that it's a part of jujitsu that is very difficult for most sorcerers, and even harder to use mid battle."
Their tone held genuine acknowledgment.
Higher ups:
"But to also grasp and understand it enough to modify your existing knowledge of chants in the heat of battle further shows your talent and future potential as a jujitsu sorcerer, and because of that great feat at your young age we have decided to have you pass this year."
Higher ups:
"For Atsuya Kusakabe, you have shown us that despite not having a Curse technique your genius use of jujitsu and barrier techniques learned from the New Shadow Style school can reach such a level that it can become a threat even to users with curse techniques."
Kusakabe casually twirled his dagger while listening.
Higher ups:
"And because of your performance of defeating Gojo Satoru with your teammate shows us your potential and will, we should be investing more into the New Shadow Style school while we continue to monitor your growth.. you have passed."
Higher ups:
"Lastly for Naoya Zenin, you have proven to us using the 10 Shadows is not the only trump card of the Zenin Clan now, and with your current achievements we hope this will not be your peak but that you continue to develop."
Naoya's lips curled faintly into a prideful smile.
Higher ups:
"And give rise to inspiration to other minor clans and sorcerers without their clan's main curse technique, that with enough talent and hard work they can still be important members in jujitsu society, and because of your teamwork that resulted in the defeat of Satoru we will be expecting big things from you in the future, with that you have passed."
Higher ups:
"We thank both schools for attending this year's Sister exchange event, and that all the participant students will be promoted to Grade 1 sorcerers and given a choice of 1 curse tool from the storage room, and this is a first to ever happen in the history of Jujutsu Tech."
A wave of quiet shock passed through the students.
Before anyone could stand up to leave the speakers continued to chime in with the voices of the higher ups.
Higher ups:
"And the last announcement, a challenge has been issued towards Yuki Tsukumo for the title of Japan's current strongest sorcerer, and the challenger is Gojo Mizuki… the battle shall proceed in the battle grounds meant for 1 V'S 1 battles with the winner decided by either curse technique burn out, knockout or surrender."
Everyone was surprised that Gojo Mizuki had challenged Yuki Tsukumo, and that they would battle it out for the title of Japan's strongest sorcerer.
Satoru:
"So this was your plan the whole time Mizuki, I have to be honest I'm quite envious."
After reaching the seats Satoru began to speak to his cousin Mizuki.
Naoya:
"Are you seriously thinking about fighting Yuki, when you lost to Mizuki you're more than just arrogant."
Naoya sneered at Satoru already guessing his thoughts from the look in his eyes.
Geto:
"That's Satoru for you, he is quite special."
Suguru moved in from behind with an arm around the shoulder of Satoru.
Satoru:
"Hey! What do you mean special."
With a hurt expression Satoru felt he was somehow being insulted by his friend Suguru as he stared at his evil grin.
Kusakabe:
"Yea, I think it's time I go sharpen my sword from a distance."
A nervous tension began to spread as everyone's danger senses started to spike.
Naoya:
"You have a point swordsman, I think my maid needs me to taste test her sandwiches."
Without delay both Kusakabe and Naoya quickly began jumping over chairs as they tried to get as far away from the area as possible.
Aoi:
"Unbelievable, y'all are just making excuses because y'all are afraid to be caught up in the cross fire of Satoru and Geto."
With a worried knowing look Shoko turned to Kai and Emi.
Shoko:
"Kai, Emi you know big sister Shoko needs your help with something.. come with me real quick."
She quickly grabbed their hands and began pulling them away.
Aoi:
"You too Shoko?"
Only one beside Geto and Satoru was Aoi Kamo as he watched while many other students began clearing out and running away from the area.
Kai:
"I should be fine, at least I think.. worst comes to worst I can nullify his Blue effect radius long enough for me to run away."
Kai turned to Emi as he let go of Shoko's hand wanting to watch more of what happened when Satoru was provoked.
Emi:
"I will protect you big sister Shoko, from this old man in a teenager's body.. like seriously you're like 15 how is your hair already turning white."
The face of Satoru after hearing Emi began to turn dark.
Satoru:
"Whaa, no I'm perfectly of age you little brat."
With the only thing seen being large amounts of cursed energy leaking out of Satoru before—
Boom..
Satoru:
"Oh no you didn't Suguru, you tried to sneak attack me."
A nervous and guilty look was the only expression Kai could see on Suguru Geto's face.
Geto:
"It's not like that Satoru let me explain, wait wait.. let me tell you what I tried to do, wait nooo!—"
Satoru:
"Maximum output Lapse Blue."
Only last minute thoughts filled the head of Kai when he looked at the cursed energy building up above Satoru Gojo.
Kai:
"Maybe I was way over my head, Emi! Runn—
Boom.."
.
.
10 minutes later
The damage had been repaired with a curse technique and the help of Yaga's curse corpses, as everyone else looked at Satoru Gojo while he had a guilty look on his face that he covered with his sunglasses.
Yaga:
"After this event I think you shall receive punishment, no more curse spirit related mission but boring paper work for 3 months, and scouting work to assist windows with reporting and danger assessment."
Satoru:
"Yaga sensei, I was just exercising a curse that was on Geto's head, but only I could see it because of—
Bonk.."
Satoru:
"Ow."
Satoru continued to rub his head while only a drained look and sweat moved down the face of Kai.
Kai:
"Well I survived only because I was using maximum output on my Cleave Reentry barrier and tanked the rest with my body."
With the only Aoi that stood near the centre of the blast radius still visible in the vision of Kai.
Kai's thoughts:
"Can someone really become that strong with blood manipulation, but something like this was never in the original manga or anime in my previous life."
Aoi:
"Naoya ran away, but what happened to Kusakabe.. oh wait there he is ohh Shoko we need you."
Emi had a cheeky smile on her face when she looked at the state of Kusakabe.
Emi:
"Is he okay, maybe he is dead."
Shoko:
"No sweetie, he is just unconscious."
Minutes later everyone had moved to the wide open battle field as Yuki was already standing in the centre.
Yuki:
"Where is the woman of the hour, you're the challenger yet you're late.. oh wait I know what you're doing, you're going to aura farm."
A wild smile spread across the face of Yuki.
The clouds in the sky split as golden rays covered a silhouette descending from above, her hair floating due to the wind and cursed energy as her eyes glowed silver only for them to fade and her hair fall back into place when she reached the ground.
Mizuki:
"As the next strongest, I need to act the part don't you think Yuki."
With her hand covering the bottom half of her face over her lips as Mizuki spoke.
Yuki:
"You surely are something huh Mizuki, where did you learn this from Satoru?"
She responded with a tone of betrayal as if the person she once knew was now gone.
Yuki:
"Well I can't let you show me up like that can I, I have to show some face as the strongest."
Her cursed energy shifted as from her shadow a long creature worm shaped appeared with eyes at its sides and a strangely shaped mouth like that of an insect with a metallic shine.
Garuda..
Her shikigami manifested from the ground as it floated around her.
Mizuki:
"First years, you all should watch closely to see the peak of jujitsu."
Her cursed energy began to distort light as if space itself started to bend around her while they both moved into stance.
And then Yuki moved and reached Mizuki first with a punch, but as soon as it hit Mizuki she also responded in kind by lifting only her palm to catch it.
Booom..
Dust and debris scattered everywhere.
As their silhouettes were masked by the smoke screen of dust with the results unknown to all.
