Chapter 1 - A chance to beat the system

"FUCK!!! Why was I cursed? Of all the hundreds of people out there, I had to be the one! FUCK!!!"

Any stranger passing by would see him as mad — a lunatic screaming at the sky — but he had his reasons.

The first time Richard Blankson came into this world, he was a rising star. A genius beyond compare. The heavens themselves seemed to favor him. At only nineteen, he had already surpassed the limits of mortals — then suddenly, he died.

When he opened his eyes again, he was back in the same world. Same sun, same sky. He thought it was mercy, a second chance. But months after his nineteenth birthday, he died again.

And again.

And again.

No matter how strong he became, no matter what path he walked, death always came before he reached twenty.

He was called a monster — for his strange professions, his ruthless techniques, his terrifying talent. He became a Demi-God, a Celestial, a Law User, a Blacksmith, even a Warrior of Creation. But all of it meant nothing. Each life ended the same.

Now, countless cycles later, Richard stood atop the ruins of the heavens — a supreme being, a man who could bend time, shatter laws, and destroy reality itself. And still, he couldn't escape his curse.

Under a bleeding red sky, he roared,

"KILL ME! KILL ME! I, RICHARD BLANKSON, HAVE HAD ENOUGH! KILL MEEEEEEEE!!!"

His voice cracked the heavens, but no one answered.

Then, from the depths of his soul, a voice echoed — calm and ancient.

HAVE YOU GIVEN UP HOPE?

Richard froze. "Who the fuck are you?"

NOT IMPORTANT. IF I CAN GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO LIVE, WILL YOU TAKE IT?

He laughed darkly. "If you can, why not? But I doubt it."

LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE TO ME. WILL YOU ACCEPT?

"Sure," he said mockingly. "Let's see what your so-called chance looks like."

I WILL GIVE YOU 20 YEARS. IF YOU CAN CREATE A LAW BY THEN, I WILL EXTEND YOUR LIFE.

Richard blinked. "Create a law? You're insane! Learning one takes centuries — creating one is impossible!"

WILL YOU ACCEPT?

He sighed. "Fine. I'll play your game."

Then glowing words appeared in the air before him — powerful, divine, and absolute.

?????????? IS TOYING WITH YOUR FATE

?????????? HAS INCREASED YOUR LIFE BY ONE YEAR

?????????? IS REINCARNATING YOU FORCEFULLY

YOU'VE BEEN GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE BY ????????? USE IT WELL AND HAVE A NICE TRIP

"Wha—"

Before he could finish, his body shattered into golden dust. His soul screamed as it was pulled through the void.

Darkness. Silence. Then— a cry.

A baby's cry.

Richard gasped awake — no, cried awake. His mind was sharp, but his body was small and weak. He was in a cradle, wrapped in soft cloth, surrounded by unfamiliar faces.

An elderly woman smiled down at him. "He's healthy… what a strong cry."

Richard's tiny fists trembled. He could barely move, yet his soul burned with ancient power. "Damn it… not again," he thought, though his lips could form no words.

He could feel it — the same world, the same cursed energy that had haunted every one of his lives. But this time, something was different. Deep inside his newborn body, a flicker of divine energy pulsed — something foreign, something new.

Then a faint whisper echoed in his mind once more.

WELCOME BACK, RICHARD BLANKSON. YOUR TIME STARTS NOW.

He couldn't speak. He couldn't move. But as his newborn eyes stared up at the ceiling, one thought echoed in his mind like thunder:

"Twenty years, huh? Then this time… I'll make fate bow to me."
