(KRYSTAL'S POV)
The SUV doesn't even fully stop before the doors fly open.
"We're here!" the driver shouts.
Michele jumps out first, then turns and grabs Valentino under his arms. I slide out after him, my hands still pressed to Val's chest, refusing to let go even as my feet hit the pavement.
"Careful—careful!" Michele snaps.
"I've got him!" I choke out.
On the other side, Angelo and Bruno haul Raffaele out. He barely manages to stay upright. The knife is still lodged deep in his shoulder, the handle jutting out grotesquely.
Rafa groans, his knees buckling.
"Hold him!" Angelo orders.
"I'm holding him!" Bruno grits.
The hospital entrance is a blur of white lights. The automatic doors slide open and we storm inside.
The bright hospital lights hit my eyes and for a second, I squint.
Then someone screams.
"Oh my God!"
A nurse at the front desk freezes when she sees us. Her eyes drop to Valentino's blood-soaked body.
"We need help!" Angelo roars. "Now!"
