(KRYSTAL'S POV)
"Goodbye, Bianca."
Xavier's words hit me like a hammer to the chest.
In that moment when I saw his finger move to the trigger, for me it felt like time slowed down.
And I thought… This is it.
This is how I die.
My life flashed before my eyes in jagged fragments. Twenty-four years of moments I barely lived, of laughter, of pain, of love and loss—and it all felt meaningless.
My family was brutally murdered and for the last twelve years I protected their killers.
I gave up so much of myself for other people.
My time.
My identity.
And my body.
But now that I finally know the truth… I'm about to die?
No.
My story can't end like this.
My story won't end like this.
I won't die until I've avenged my family.
I will not fucking die until Xavier, Marcello, and every other animal inside this mansion is rotting six feet under.
Right before Xavier's finger squeezed the trigger, I jumped him.
