(KRYSTAL'S POV)
I've been staring at myself in the mirror for the last fifteen minutes, and I still can't get over how different I look.
I'm wearing a white, skin-tight gown with a thigh-high slit that makes me feel exposed and powerful all at once. The diamond-studded necklace around my neck sparkles every time I move.
But while I'm still reeling from the stranger staring back at me, there's a thought that's been at the back of my mind and it's getting louder with every passing second.
I'm about to walk into a room packed with the wealthiest, most dangerous people on the planet. But somehow… the thing that scares me more is knowing I'll be stuck with Val and his brothers the entire time.
There's still so much unresolved drama and tension between me, Raffaele and Angelo. And I don't know if they'll let it go for the sake of the mission, or if it's going to be the reason this blows up in our faces.
A soft sound pulls me from my thoughts.
