The city basking at the moon's light surrounded by dark all around.
It's empty streets only lit by lamposts all through the night.
Inbetween the darkness and light lies a glimmer.
A little girl, her messy white hair shining in the moonlight and her blue eyes as bright and clear as the sky.
Wearing nothing more than a ragged clothes and handbag walking through the lonely streets of the city.
The girl continues through, entering an alleyway and getting into a slightly open area She stumbles upon something.
A sight of a makeshift tent enters her eyes, made with various of different fabric strewn together with leaves and thread, hanging beside it is an unlit old rusty latern.
Taking down the lantern the Girl lights it up using a piece of flint and a small piece steel she found, hanging it back up and settles down near the tent after.
Sitting down the Girl takes out a book, thick and tattered, and a piece of stale bread. Inspecting it fully to make sure it is edible.
"Better than eating rats i guess" the girl speaks before taking a bite at the stale bread.
Opening the book, it's pages are tattered and ragged with bits of it burnt, she begins to read. It's pages almost unreadable yet it retains it's story.
Reading while eating the stale bread the night's wind blows colder and latern's light glows dimmer.
Looking at the lantern the girl speaks.
"I should replace the candle tomorrow" She suggests to herself.
Finishing eating the bread, she grabs a water holder on her bag and drinks until it is empty.
Thinking to herself what to do and planning for tomorrow, She looks up to the sky spotting a shooting star in her sight.
"I wish to have a happy life" She says to the stars, shooting her wish above wanting to be heard.
"And for that! I shall work hard" She speaks encouraging herself.
"I Alca! Alca Sacrlet! Shall reach the top of the world one day! ....one day...."
"Before that... There's tomorrow.." Alca says to herself and laying down the tent
"And before tomorrow... Is sleep" she speaks before going fast asleep...
