The Quincy of the Wandenreich had basically been wiped out by Yhwach's Auswählen.
"Did the Soul King see the future of Yhwach's Auswählen..."
Sora thought about how Kurosaki Misaki had suddenly gone into premature labor without any warning.
What just happened made him suspect the Soul King was responsible for her early labor.

The other captains also had no casualties.
Sora had basically exposed all of the Quincy's intel.

"The Quincy were all killed by the pillars of light from Silbern!" Yoruichi Shihōin said.
"Yes... Yhwach has awakened. Those light pillars were him, using 'Auswählen' to reclaim power."

"Why is there an atmosphere from Hell in Silbern?"
"And why did Mayuri Kurotsuchi go to Silbern?!"
Sora suddenly sensed other Spiritual Pressures in Silbern, besides Yhwach and Haschwalth.
Mayuri's Spiritual Pressure flashed and then vanished, as if he was heavily wounded.

A moment later, the Shinigami captains arrived at Silbern.
In the throne room, the throne was empty.
Two people were lying on the walkway in front of the throne.
One was Haschwalth, who was no longer breathing. The other was Mayuri Kurotsuchi.
"Lieutenant Mayuri!"

Only half of his body was left.
"He's still alive... with an injury like that?" Shunsui Kyōraku said in shock.
Mayuri was missing half his body, but he wasn't dead.

Isshin saw Mayuri wasn't joking and stabbed him.
After the blade entered, Ashisogi Jizō injected a drug into Mayuri's artery.
The next moment, Mayuri's body quickly melted into a slime-like substance.
This was his emergency backup plan. Turning into slime allowed him to keep his injuries from getting worse for a long time.
This way, he could be treated back at the Technology Development Bureau.
The slimed Mayuri writhed on the ground like an ooze.
"Can you talk in that state?" Sora asked.
"Of course."
The slimed Mayuri's voice was different, muffled, like it was coming from underwater.
"How long can you stay like that? Do you need treatment first?"
"Treatment can wait. As long as I get nutrient fluid, I can stay like this for a long time. Let me answer your questions first."
Mayuri knew they wanted to know what happened. "I just met Yhwach here. And... Miyamoto Tetsuya!"

"He returned from Hell!"
"He called himself an envoy from Hell. He gave Yhwach a small orb with Hell's energy, and Yhwach followed him to Hell."

"Pupils? Right. After Yhwach talked with Miyamoto Tetsuya, the pupils in both his eyes split into two." Mayuri answered.
"Double pupils... He's already activated 'The Almighty' eye."
Sora frowned. Yhwach with 'The Almighty' was the strongest Quincy. But he ran without a fight.
He must have seen a future where staying here was bad for him.
And that was true. If Sora and Yamamoto teamed up, even Yhwach with 'The Almighty' would have a hard time winning.
After all, the current Yhwach hadn't absorbed the Soul King. 'The Almighty' was still limited.
"So that was 'The Almighty' eye? No wonder he saw through my stealth!"
Mayuri understood why his stealth was broken.

Maybe next time Yhwach appears, he'll be confident he can beat both of them.

Sora took a jar and put the slimed Mayuri inside.

Several days later, the Shinigami moved the Wandenreich's treasury back to Soul Society.
The Wandenreich had inherited the foundation of the Lichtreich, holding countless treasures. The Technology Development Bureau also gained a lot of Reishi technology from it.
