Sora spent some time in Las Noches guiding Grimmjow and Ulquiorra.
Grimmjow and Ulquiorra had never trained. They had relied entirely on their talent to grow.
"Is this thing really better than my claws?" Grimmjow asked.
He was practicing his swings, trying to get used to the Zanpakutō. He felt it was awkward and unnatural.
Sora had also turned Grimmjow into an Arrancar. But, just like Nelliel twenty years ago, his foundation wasn't strong enough when he converted, so he didn't evolve straight into a Vasto Lorde.
"It's normal to feel awkward in your new human form," Sora smiled.
"When Spiritual Pressure levels are similar, Hollows usually can't beat Shinigami. The main reason is that Shinigami have Zanjutsu, Hakuda, Kido, and Zanpakutō. It lets them handle more complex situations."
"Then can't I just make my Spiritual Pressure stronger and beat them?"
Grimmjow had been a panther for too long and was still used to his claws.
"If Sōsuke were here, he would definitely agree with you. But high Spiritual Pressure isn't his only strength," Sora chuckled.
"Spiritual Pressure growth is limited. If you face an enemy with similar or stronger Spiritual Pressure, these skills are what let you win."
Sora drew his sword. "Let me show you. I'll suppress my Spiritual Pressure to your level."
"Professor is suppressing his Spiritual Pressure to my level?" Grimmjow said confidently. "Then there's no way I can lose!"
Grimmjow was very confident in his fighting skills. He hadn't trained systematically, but he had grown up in a sea of blood and corpses.
He had been fighting for as long as he'd been in Hueco Mundo. His combat experience was huge.
Nelliel and Ulquiorra, who were practicing nearby, stopped to watch.
"Ulquiorra, have you seen the Professor fight?"

Grimmjow jumped into the air, shaking his numb claws.

Grimmjow grinned. He was confident in his new move.
He learned it after becoming an Arrancar. It was even stronger than his Cero!
Five giant, blue energy claws formed over each of Grimmjow's own claws.
"Panther King's Claws!"
Grimmjow swung his claws, and the ten giant blue claws shot toward his Professor on the ground.
Just then, Sora also swung his sword toward the sky.
A blue arc of light shot from the blade, meeting the ten giant blue claws.
Grimmjow was stunned. His Professor's move looked just like his 'Panther King's Claws', just different in number and how it was launched.
'Panther King's Claws' was really just a way of releasing blades of Spiritual Pressure. This was one of Sora's most familiar fields.

His 'Panther King's Claws' could easily tear an Adjuchas apart!

The blue arc veered off before hitting Grimmjow and sliced a sand dune behind him in two.
"Using just that little Spiritual Pressure to make such a powerful move... Is that Zanjutsu?"
Ulquiorra analyzed the power of the slash.
He felt that slash used even less Spiritual Pressure than his 'Lanza del Relámpago'.
But in front of that slash, his 'Lanza del Relámpago' would also just be sliced in two.
The gap between him and the Professor was too big.
