The massive commotion from Jigen Ishida's self-destruction attracted the remaining Quincy in the vicinity. Sora sensed them approaching at the first moment.
He raised two fingers, lightning flashing at their tips, and thrust them forward.
Raikiri Shiken!
POW! The head of one of the Quincy was instantly pierced, leaving a charred hole as he fell backward. The combination of "Shiken" and "Raikiri" made the attack's speed even faster.
"Watch your positioning! Don't stand still! Attack together!" another Quincy shouted urgently.
The remaining six quickly moved with Hirenkyaku, simultaneously drawing their spirit bows. A sky-covering rain of arrows shot towards Sora.
His black blade flashed, shattering every incoming arrow. He pinched the blade with two fingers, lightning coiling around them. When he swung his Zanpakutō, a stream of lightning swept across the six Quincy with the force of a thunderclap.
In an instant, all six were cut in half at the waist. These Quincy hadn't even mastered Blut, so they were nothing more than souls to be reaped by Sora's blade.
"The professor is so strong!" Yoruichi was dumbfounded. She would have needed some time to defeat even one of them, yet her professor had annihilated them with a single, casual move.
"I want to learn that—the move that shoots a Spiritual Pressure blade from two fingers!" she said, mimicking his gesture. She thought the move was very flexible.
"No problem. I'll teach you when we get back," Sora nodded.
Just then, an urgent request for aid came through his Denreishinki. "This is Squad 7 Vice-Captain Asada Kōya! Requesting medical support at the southwest section of the upper valley!"
"Captain Jikkyō's condition is extremely critical! Requesting medical support!"
Soon, Unohana's voice came through. "Acting Vice-Captain Katori, what is your situation? Do you have time to provide support for Captain Jikkyō?"
Sora glanced at the medical team's situation. They had already administered emergency treatment to the wounded, and the evacuation was nearly complete.
"This is Katori Sora," he replied. "The medical team is currently in the midstream section. I can go and support Captain Jikkyō!"
The upper valley was more dangerous. Sora didn't want Yoruichi to follow. "I have an urgent mission to handle, but the safety of the medical team and the wounded is also very important."
"To guard against any remaining enemies, you and the Stealth Force will be responsible for escorting the medical team back to the main camp."

Sora bid farewell to Yoruichi and the others, explained the situation to the medical team, and then rushed towards the upper valley.
To avoid being delayed, he used his shadow ability as he traveled. The shadows of the trees and rocks rapidly shifted, extending and connecting as he moved swiftly within them.
He soon arrived at Captain Jikkyō's location. He emerged from a shadow, startling Vice-Captain Asada.
"Don't be alarmed. I am Katori Sora, here to provide medical support," Sora said.
"That's great! Come quickly and see the captain! He's not going to make it!" Asada said urgently.
Sora went over and, seeing Jikkyō's injuries, felt the situation was dire. The captain was unconscious. There was a massive penetrating wound in his abdomen that had almost split his body in two.
Sora checked the wound. The vital points were not damaged, but the Spiritual Core had sustained some damage. Captain Jikkyō was already old; this injury was undoubtedly making a bad situation worse.
Although the damage wasn't as severe as Batsunsai's, it was unlikely he could continue to serve as a captain.
"Rest assured, Vice-Captain. I can save his life," Sora said as he began treatment. "What kind of enemy could injure him so badly?"
Asada shivered as if recalling something terrifying. "That Quincy woman was too horrifying..."
"At first, she was no match for the captain at all. But then she took off a glove, and all the spiritual particles in the area swarmed towards her. A wing made of spiritual energy grew from her back..."
"Then, with a single attack, she did this to the captain!"
Sora's mind stirred. Asada's description reminded him of the "Sanrei Glove"! Removing it would grant a Quincy immense power, but at the cost of losing their abilities afterward.
"After she injured the captain, did she leave?" Sora asked.
"Yes, she headed towards the residential area," Asada replied.
Just then, Sora sensed that the flow of spiritual particles in the air had become extremely abnormal. He looked up in that direction and saw a chilling sight: a female Quincy with a single wing of light on her back, moving rapidly towards them!
