David arm was wrapped around Liana waist, and his face was resting on her neck.
Liana was startled, waking up from her sleep because of David loud voice. She immediately turned her head upward.
Half conscious, her eyes fluttered. "Huh... Mr. David? Are you awake?"
David immediately released his embrace, pulling himself away from Liana as fast as lightning. He sat upright on the bed, trying to cover his immense embarrassment and shock.
David, in a very embarrassed and confused tone. "We... why are we..."
Liana sat up on the bed, trying to tidy her hair. "You were the one who pulled me last night and wouldn't let go because you were cold after I pushed you into the bathtub."
David held his aching head flashes of last night's memory came back to him the club, a strange woman, drugs, and especially, the forcefulness toward Liana.
