Liana ran into the ladies room at her office.
"What is wrong with me? Liana, you're crazy," Liana muttered, frustrated with herself.
"How can I face Mr. David again after this?" Liana added, resigned.
Liana tried to calm herself down and decided to return to her desk. She tidied up her messy appearance and walked slowly, acting as if nothing had happened.
"Liana, where have you been?" Chika asked, surprised by Liana sudden hurried departure earlier.
"I was in the restroom I really couldn't hold it anymore," Liana said, trying to find the most plausible excuse.
"Oh, okay. But what's with your lip? I don't remember it being that big earlier," Chika wondered.
Liana remembered David had slightly bitten her lip, which was likely why it was a little swollen now.
"This... I accidentally bit it just now," Liana lied.
"Is that so? Okay," Chika replied, sounding half believing and half doubtful of Liana words.
