Jayjay's POV
It was the weekend after my birthday. The celebration still replayed in my head, but now, it was time to return to where everything began — HVIS.
As our car pulled into the familiar gates, a wave of memories washed over me. The tall building, the open yard, the laughter echoing from the hallways — everything felt the same, yet different.
When we reached our classroom, everyone started talking, laughing, and recalling old memories. The walls of Section E seemed to come alive again with our voices.
I walked with Ci-N to the small kitchen in the corner of the hallway. "Do you remember the time we were frying pancakes here?" I asked, smiling.
Ci-N laughed. "Yeah, and we nearly burned the pancake because you talking to keifer !"
We both burst into laughter.
Then I moved toward the table outside of the classroom. "Guys! Do you remember when me and Ci-n were dancing on this table?"
Everyone nodded, laughing again.
"Oh yeah," Yuri said, shaking his head. "You almost fell that day, but Kiefer caught you just in time."
Kiefer chuckled. "You were always causing chaos, Jay."
I went to sit in my old seat — the same chair from our first day. I smiled, tapping the armrest. "Hey, Kiefer… do you remember when you and the boys glued me to this chair?"
Kiefer laughed, raising his hands in surrender. "Guilty! But in my defense, it was Rory 's idea."
The room filled with laughter again, echoing through the quiet corridors.
Hours passed with nothing but joy, teasing, and old stories. It felt like home — our second home.
Soon, the sun began to set. We all walked down toward the school gate, waiting for Adrian, who had gone to escort Valerie to the airport for her flight back to Korea.
Adrian finally arrived at the school , waving his hand with that usual sheepish grin. "Sorry, sorry! Valerie's flight got delayed — she cried a little at the airport," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
Ci-n folded his arms and smirked. "You cried too, didn't you?"
Adrian's face twisted. "What? No! Maybe… just one tear."
Everyone burst out laughing, and I couldn't help but join in. It felt so warm — like nothing had changed, like we were still those noisy kids who could laugh away everything.
Then, as the laughter faded, I looked up at our Section E building one last time.
The sun was setting, bathing everything in soft gold.
"So," I said quietly, "this is really it, huh? The last time we'll stand here like this."
Everyone grew quiet.
Kiefer walked beside me, his eyes reflecting the same golden light. "Yeah," he said softly, "feels weird… like the place's alive, saying goodbye to us."
I nodded. "I can almost hear us again — yelling, laughing, getting punished for being loud."
Yuri chuckled. "Don't forget crying when we lost those games."
Ciel nudged him with her elbow. "You mean when you lost, Yuri Hanamitchi."
We all burst into laughter again.
Ci-n suddenly raised his phone. "Alright! Before anyone starts crying again, everyone line up! Last photo before we turn into boring university students!"
We shuffled into place, teasing and laughing as usual. Kiefer stood beside me, his arm naturally finding its way around my shoulders. Adrian tried to act cool but grinned anyway. Yuri made a peace sign, and Ciel pretended not to blush. The camera clicked — capturing not just faces, but memories, chaos, and love.
When Ci-n showed us the photo, everyone went quiet for a moment. The orange sky behind us, our smiles, our mismatched poses — it was perfect.
"That's us," I whispered. "That's Section E."
As the sky slowly turned darker blues andpurple , I felt a lump form in my throat. "You know…" I said softly, looking at all of them, "we've been through fights, tears, danger… everything. And still, here we are."
David smiled. "Yeah. Still standing."
Adrian added, "Still arguing."
Ci-n grinned. "Still broke."
Everyone laughed again, but there was something different this time — a heaviness in our laughter, the kind that comes when you don't want a moment to end.
Kiefer looked at us, his voice gentle. "No matter what happens next — in Hamilton or anywhere else — we'll always be Section E."
I turned to face them all. My chest felt tight, but I smiled through it. "Forever Section E," I said.
And as if we'd practiced it all our lives, everyone shouted together, louder and brighter than the sunset:
"SECTION E FOREVER!"
Our voices echoed through the empty courtyard — proud, wild, and free.
We started walking away slowly, our footsteps overlapping like the beat of a song we'd written together.
Halfway to the car, I turned around one last time.
The old classroom windows glowed in the fading light, and I could almost see our younger selves inside — me and Kiefer arguing , Ci-n laughing too hard, Yuri pretending to be serious, and all of us being… us.
Tears filled my eyes, but I smiled.
"Thank you," I whispered to the wind. "For everything."
And just before the world faded into night, I could hear our laughter again — distant, but eternal.
✨ To be continued…
