Chapter 62 - Chapter 62 – The Unexpected Delivery

Kiefer's POV

The morning sunlight spilled across the living room, and the remnants of yesterday's party still lingered—empty cups, scattered cushions, and a few half-finished snacks. Everyone was enjoying a calm morning after a long weekend of fun. Breakfast had been light, and now most of the group was lounging around, chatting quietly or watching the TV.

I was about to grab my coffee when I heard the gate open downstairs. One of our maids had gone to answer it, and a moment later, she appeared carrying a small box.

"Sir Kiefer," she said politely, handing me the package. "This was left at the doorknob. No sender mentioned."

I frowned and took the box, turning it over in my hands. It looked ordinary from the outside, but something about the way it had been delivered felt… deliberate.

"Thanks, Lila," I said, handing her the coffee cup. She nodded and went back to her duties.

Curious, I set the box on the table. Almost immediately, Adrian, jayjay , ciel , and the rest gathered around, peering over my shoulder.

I opened the lid.

Inside were dozens of glossy photographs. My eyes narrowed. Some were of jayjay alone, others of ciel , and there were even pictures of Adrian and the rest of the group. The way the photos had been taken—intimate, candid, detailed—it was obvious someone had been watching us for some time.

"Is this…?" jayjay whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

I picked up a folded letter at the bottom of the box. The handwriting was neat, almost too precise, but the message made my stomach drop:

"We see you. We know what you do. You shouldn't be so careless. Watch closely, or next time it won't just be pictures 🔪."

I held the note carefully, letting the words sink in. A heavy silence filled the room as everyone processed what they were seeing.

Adrian's brow furrowed. "Who would do this? And why target us?"

ciel 's fingers clutched the edge of the box. "It's like… someone's been following us, watching our every move."

I placed the box on the table. My mind was already racing. Whoever had done this had gone to a lot of trouble. Whoever it was, they were bold—and they were close enough to know exactly where we were.

"This is serious," I said firmly. "We need to find out who sent this soon—and fast."

jayjay hugged herself tightly, glancing around nervously. I could see the unease in everyone's eyes. The fun, carefree weekend we had enjoyed was gone, replaced by the shadow of someone watching us from somewhere we didn't know.

The quiet morning had turned into a warning. And from the looks of it, this was only the beginning.
