The moment we all settled down after the chaos outside, the questions started flying. Jayjay and Keifer looked at me expectantly, probably waiting for me to spill what I knew about Adrian.
I took a deep breath. "Okay… you all need to understand something about my brother," I began, trying to keep my tone calm despite the nerves fluttering in my chest. "He… has… a hidden ability. Or maybe it's that he can lose control when provoked."
Jayjay blinked, her mouth slightly open. "Hidden ability? Like… superhuman?"
Ci-N leaned forward, eyes sparkling. "Ooooh, a secret superhero in Section E? I knew it!"
I shot him a look. "Not exactly. It's dangerous if he loses control. And today… well, let's just say his ex really pushed him."
Keifer raised an eyebrow. "Ex? Oh… this is getting juicy." He smirked at Jayjay, who rolled her eyes but secretly grinned.
I cleared my throat. "Her name is… Liora Valen. She… did some really bad things at his old school, things that made him… react in ways he couldn't control. That's why he transferred here — to avoid hurting anyone else and… well… to keep his life, our lives, from going upside down."
Rory whistled low. "Whoa… okay. That's intense. So today… the stone thing?"
I nodded. "Exactly. She slapped him, and he… he lost control. But he's okay now. And thanks to Jayjay stepping in, no one got hurt."
Jayjay laughed, brushing her hair behind her ear. "See? Meddling isn't always bad."
Keifer elbowed her lightly. "Meddling again, huh? I swear, you just can't help yourself."
Jayjay smirked. "Don't forget, it helped us find info on the author last time. I'm basically heroic."
Ci-N clapped dramatically. "Yes! All hail Hero Jayjay, the meddler of Section E!"
The whole group burst out laughing. Even Rory shook his head, grinning. "Only in Section E… only here."
I couldn't help but smile. "And just so you know," I continued, "we accept him, whatever happens. He's my brother, and now he's your Section E brother too."
Jayjay and Keifer exchanged a glance, hands brushing lightly under the table, while the boys teased and joked around.
Even Ci-N couldn't resist adding, "Next thing you know, he'll be saving the world… or breaking more stones!"
We all laughed, the tension dissolving into chatter and teasing. It was Section E, after all — every chaotic, funny, amazing moment was part of our life.
Outside, I noticed Adrian leaning against the wall, arms crossed, watching us with a faint smile. He looked relaxed, almost amused by how much his secret had stirred up our little group.
And I knew, somehow, Section E had just gained another legend.
