Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Eliana's POV

It's morning and I had just woken up with a lingering memory of last night. The kiss at the club, the sex in the car, the final sex at my place. A slow smile curved on my lips.

"Oh God...Asa." I whispered his name as if mentioning his name could cause him to suddenly appear right before me.

The thought of him alone turned me on.

He had left, stating he had some "business" he needed to attend to. It was pretty cool actually. He's mysterious.

And I'd also been pleased that I'd taken that leap of living out one of the fantasies I'd carried for so long. Having s*x with a complete stranger. It was much better than I imagined.

My fingers brushed the small card he'd left behind, still clutched in my hand. I could still smell the scent of coffee and chocolate on it, and I inhaled it subconsciously, savoring the reminder of him. My body was still warm, the faint ache of last night settling pleasantly in my p***y, a reminder of what we had done.

"God, last night was wild… but I'm still thankful for a new day." I prayed softly as I stretched, lingering on my bed in just my panties and bra.

And then the temptation to call him hit me. My phone rested on the nightstand, and I reached for it, picking it up without a second thought. My thumb hovered over the dial momentarily in hesitation.

For a long moment, I just stared, imagining his face, his smirk, the hardness of his d**k in my hands... Then, quickly I jerked myself out of my reverie and I dialed his number.

The first ring echoed in the quiet apartment stretching for a moment and then—voicemail. I frowned slightly, refusing to be deterred.

"Maybe he's busy?" I said out loud.

I decided to try again moments later.

Ring. Ring. And there was still no response.

I waited again in silence and there was something about this particular silence that felt both frustrating and thrilling, and I hesitated, thumb hovering the dial button before deciding to try one last time.

Ring. Ring.

Ring. Ring.

Still nothing.

I set the phone down, blinking at the ceiling as my mind began to wander, wondering why he hadn't picked up. Maybe he was still handling "business", or maybe he was.... I shook my head, letting the thoughts dissolve.

And then, there was a sharp knock at my door. The knock rattled the quiet of my apartment, pulling me completely out of my imaginations.

I froze momentarily trying to figure out who could be at my door by this time of the morning.

Suddenly I became very aware of the fact that I was wearing nothing but black panties and a matching bra. My hair was still a mess from the night before, and my head carried that faint, throbbing headache that came after one drink too many.

There was another knock again. Louder this time, in form of a pattern.

"Sh*t. Hold on!" I called out as I snatched the first thing I could find—a wrinkled T-shirt from the chair near the door. Not to wear but to hold against my chest, in case it was my neighbor or, God forbid, the landlord.

Padding barefoot to the door, I pressed one eye to the peephole.

It was Sophia and Juliette.

Of course.

I cracked the door just enough to peek out, my bare shoulder pressed against the frame.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked.

Sophia's grin was already mischievous, her eyeliner smudged but her confidence shining as bright as ever.

"Checking if you survived the night." She said.

Juliette stood just behind her, cheeks pink from the morning chill, balancing three paper cups of coffee like she was the responsible one.

"Coffee?" she offered, as though that justified their unannounced arrival.

Before I could say any other words, Sophia nudged the door wider with her hip and breezed past me, her eyes sweeping immediately over my state of undress.

"Oh my God, Ellie." She laughed, "Did you just finish f**king or what?"

"Shut up." I said with a chuckle, rolling my eyes as I tugged the shirt higher against my chest but making no move to put it on.

Juliette at least had the decency to look flustered as she slipped inside and set the coffees down on the table.

"You could've gotten dressed before opening the door." She said.

"I could've but then I saw it was you guys," I muttered, shutting the door behind them. "For all I knew I thought it could've been Mr. Henderson from next door. Imagine if he'd seen this. You think I'd want that?"

"He'd probably thank the universe." Sophia smirked, flopping onto the couch like she owned the place.

I shot her a look, but she just stretched, looking smug and radiant in a way that made me suspicious.

"You look…" I narrowed my eyes. "Too pleased with yourself. Spill. What's the gist?"

"Remember that guy who asked me to dance?" She said, leaning forward with her chin resting on her hand, eyes sparkling like a 6 year old.

Of course I did. I remembered watching her strut off to the floor, leaving Juliette and I alone at the bar.

"Well," she said, her smile curling, "one dance was all it took before we ditched the floor. Guess where we ended up?"

"A hotel?" I arched a brow, teasing.

"Nope."

"Sophia…" Juliette said with her eyes widened in anticipation.

"The club's bathroom." Sophia said with a grin.

"You didn't." I said, jaw dropped.

"Oh, I did." She looked positively triumphant. "He had me pressed against the stall door before I could blink. The music was pounding through the walls, people were walking in and out, and I couldn't have cared less. We did it right then and there. It was..." She paused momentarily as if reliving the experience. "Perfect."

"Sophia, you're insane." Juliette said with one hand covering her face while letting out a laugh.

"Insanely lucky." Sophia corrected, wagging her brows.

"Slut." I said with a laugh, shaking my head.

"Excuse you." Sophia gasped, clutching her chest in mock offense.

"Total slut." Juliette said, peeking through her fingers, googling despite herself.

"Say it louder!" Sophia said, stretching her arms out wide, basking in the attention. "I'll wear it like a crown."
