"The last time you said it was someone close to me that was giving you intel, now tell me how close are we saying Gavin?" I asked
Pft!
Gavin snickered and, lifting a side of his busted lips with a mocking smile, he didn't answer but stared at me with a defiance that showed confidence in knowing something I was not privy to.
"Since you are proving stubborn, there is no need to leave you here," I stated with cruelty.
He sighed, then replied, "Adrian Kael, trying to control everything and everyone around you will not always work in your favor. You need to learn to let go."
"That's not what I'm asking you, man," I replied, anger coloring my tone.
Not bothering to speak anymore, I projected my psychic force and broke down his mind field, since he won't speak clearly, I might as well get what I'm looking for myself.
After crumbling his shields, I penetrated into his mind sphere for the truth. I cannot afford to be crushed under the uncertainty of the unknown.
