Chapter 124 - Chapter 123: Must Teach a Lesson — Ai Tutu Wants to Bet, but Can’t Stop Herself

After a while, Zheng Bingxiao from the Summoning Element finally stepped off the stage after defeating twenty-five people.

"This Zheng Bingxiao is actually so strong! He defeated twenty-five people all by himself!" Ai Tutu exclaimed in surprise.

If everyone from the Summoning Element had results like his, wouldn't they easily finish the one hundred-person challenge?

"His Summoned Beast is pretty powerful, so he has a big advantage. It's not the same for the others," Song Jie explained casually.

Ai Tutu blinked curiously. "By the way, which Element are you from?"

"I currently practice the Light Element and the Summoning Element," Song Jie replied.

"Two Elements? How is that possible? If you don't want to tell me, then just say so!" Ai Tutu pouted. Was this guy taking her for a fool?

If he really was a Summoning Element Mage, would he be sitting here chatting instead of competing?

Song Jie smiled helplessly. He was telling the truth — if she didn't believe him, there was nothing he could do.

Mu Nujiao, who was quietly listening from the side, frowned slightly when she heard Song Jie mention the Light Element. She remembered that he wasn't from the Summoning Element before… but she didn't ask further.

At that moment, a fat man walked up onto the arena.

"This guy should be Luo Song, right?" Song Jie thought to himself.

Sure enough, after a few minutes, Luo Song used his Intermediate Ice Element magic to eliminate three Summoning Element students in one go.

"Who is this guy? He's so strong — he actually took out three at once!" Ai Tutu cried out.

Then she smirked and looked proudly at Song Jie. "Now there's only one Summoning Element student left. Looks like you're going to lose!"

"That's not necessarily true," Song Jie replied, still wearing a calm, confident smile.

Ai Tutu scoffed. The Summoning Element hadn't even reached fifty people yet — there was no way the last person could change anything.

Could he really fight fifty people alone? Did Song Jie think everyone was a monster like himself?

She shook her head. Taking on two hundred people? Impossible!

After Luo Song defeated three people, he gave Mo Fan a smug glance before leaving the arena. He'd already fought Mo Fan before and knew he couldn't beat him, so he wisely avoided unnecessary trouble.

Song Jie, already knowing how things would unfold, didn't even bother to watch the fight. His attention was elsewhere.

"What are you doing..." Mu Nujiao whispered, her face flushing even redder than before.

Meanwhile, Mo Fan entered the arena and went on a rampage.

His Summoned Beast had advanced to a higher level, and it was far stronger than an average Servant-level Summoned Beast.

Before long, Mo Fan had already defeated dozens of opponents.

After finishing another group, Mo Fan looked up at Dean Xiao and said loudly:

"If our Summoning Element fails to complete the one hundred-person challenge, our resources will be divided among the others. Isn't that unfair? If we lose, we lose everything — but what about them? They risk nothing!"

Hearing this, Dean Xiao smiled faintly. This was just like last year's situation.

He replied, "Actually, that's not true. If your Summoning Element can withstand the joint attacks of two hundred students, then all of this year's cultivation resources will belong to your Element."

Mo Fan grinned. "Then I, Mo Fan, will take all the resources from every Element!"

The crowd immediately erupted in chaos!

"Who does this guy think he is?!"

"Last year, there was a Song Jie — are they planning to produce another monster this year?!"

"Damn it, I can't stand this! I'm going to challenge him myself!"

All around, students shouted in disbelief, itching to jump into the arena and prove him wrong.

Ai Tutu stared in shock, her mouth slightly open. She turned to Song Jie, her expression mixed with disbelief and panic.

"If what you said really comes true… won't I have to kiss you?" she muttered, her thoughts a mess.

"No way! Absolutely impossible! How could anyone defeat two hundred people alone?" she reassured herself. Still, she couldn't calm down.

Even Mu Nujiao glanced at Song Jie with a questioning look, her eyes asking silently: How did you know?

Song Jie leaned close to her ear and whispered, "If you kiss me, I'll tell you."

Mu Nujiao bit her lip and turned away, refusing to look at him.

But a second later, Song Jie's mischievous hand began to tease her under the table.

"Song Jie..." she gasped softly, blushing furiously. She couldn't even say anything aloud without attracting attention.

Song Jie only smiled and looked straight ahead as if nothing had happened.

Mu Nujiao was fuming. She secretly reached out and pinched him hard on the arm.

"Hiss..." Song Jie inhaled sharply — that hurt! This little girl really didn't hold back.

He made a mental note to teach her a proper lesson later.

Meanwhile, Mo Fan was unstoppable. In a short time, he had already defeated more than a hundred opponents.

Several teams tried to ambush him, but all failed miserably.

They had no idea Mo Fan was already an Intermediate Mage with four Elements — Fire and Lightning being his strongest!

"Bai Zangfeng! It's Bai Zangfeng from the Lightning Element! Mo Fan's going to lose this time!" Ai Tutu said hopefully.

But Mo Fan had already taken down one hundred and eighty opponents — only twenty remained!

She prayed desperately that he'd lose soon.

Then suddenly — a blinding bolt of lightning ripped through the sky and struck the arena!

Gasps filled the air.

"He's an Intermediate Mage!"

"Intermediate Lightning Element?! He already has the Summoning Element, and now Lightning too?!"

"Monster! He's a total monster!"

Bai Zangfeng was instantly overwhelmed and defeated.

"Bai Zangfeng lost!" Ai Tutu said, nearly in tears. Then she turned to Mu Nujiao, her last hope.

"Sister Mu, you're going up, right? You don't want me to kiss this guy, do you?" Ai Tutu pleaded.

Mu Nujiao turned and glared at Song Jie. This was all his fault!

Still, she also wanted to try. They were all new students after all, and she and Mo Fan were rivals.

"I'm going," Mu Nujiao said firmly, standing up and walking toward the arena.

Seeing her go, Ai Tutu finally sighed in relief.

"Sister Mu will definitely defeat him. You're going to lose!" she said confidently.

"That's not necessarily true," Song Jie replied lightly.

"You don't know how powerful Sister Mu is! Both her Elements are Intermediate Mage!" Ai Tutu said proudly.

Song Jie smirked. "Even with two Intermediate Elements, she's still no match for that Summoning Element student."

Ai Tutu clenched her fists. "Then let's make another bet!"

"Oh?" Song Jie leaned back, amused. "And what kind of bet are you thinking of?"

He didn't expect her to throw herself into his trap so willingly — it was as if she were delivering herself right into his hands!
