Chapter 200 - Chapter 199: Sister-in-law, Are You Taking Revenge on Someone You Don’t Know?

"Brother… we can't beat him!" Raijin's face twisted with fear.

Fujin trembled as well. "Brother, he blocked our fists with just one finger. If he used two fingers, we'd be finished instantly! That's why we can't win!"

"So that's how it is. Brother, you're so smart!" Raijin looked at him with admiration.

"Of course! That's why I'm the elder brother!" Fujin puffed up proudly.

"Brother, what do we do now? Should we run away?" Raijin asked in a panic, his voice hesitant. "But… if we run, won't Big Brother refuse to give us a feast?"

"If we can't win, we run," Fujin declared, a sly gleam in his eyes. "And if Big Brother doesn't give us food, then he's no longer our Big Brother. We'll just rob him instead!"

"Brother is really smart!" Raijin's eyes lit up. "If he doesn't give us a feast, then he's not our Big Brother. We'll rob him!"

Itsuki, standing nearby, was visibly annoyed.

These two single-celled organisms… are they here to perform comedy skits instead of fighting?

"Go! Everyone, attack together!" Mizuki barked from behind, his voice sharp.

The criminals who had sided with Mizuki surged forward.

He had freed them, and whether or not this fight succeeded, they had already gained their freedom.

With no hesitation, they rushed in, shouting and unleashing whatever ninjutsu or weapons they had. The scene exploded into chaos.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Mizuki slipped back and retreated out of the prison under the cover of the mob.

Boom!!

Itsuki's chakra flared violently. The shockwave knocked the Fujin and Raijin to the ground before they could run.

He planted a foot on each of their massive bodies, pinning them down so hard they couldn't even get up.

"Wood Release: Tree Boundary Wall!"

Tenzo's hands blurred through seals, and thick wooden vines burst from the ground.

They snaked across the area, blocking escape routes and shielding against enemy ninjutsu.

Genma Shiranui seized the chance, spitting senbon into the air. His hand seals multiplied them again and again.

The rain of senbon pierced through fleeing criminals, freezing them in place with precision strikes.

After all, most of these criminals were just rabble. Only a handful posed any real threat.

Itsuki joined the cleanup, his Wood Release binding prisoners against trees one after another.

Within minutes, hundreds of criminals were subdued.

But sheer numbers meant some slipped away. The more capable criminals spotted the tide turning and bolted before they could be restrained.

"Itsuki, you deal with the Fujin and Raijin. Leave the rest to us!" Tenzo decided quickly. "Genma, chase Mizuki. I'll take care of the escaped prisoners."

"No problem!" Genma darted away in Mizuki's direction.

Tenzo created two Wood Release clones and split off to track the fugitives.

There was no other choice. The Fujin and Raijin's brute strength was overwhelming.

Neither Tenzo nor Genma could handle them, so the responsibility fell to Itsuki.

"You're seriously leaving this mess to me alone? That's way too much faith in a kid who hasn't even grown up yet!"

Before Itsuki could finish complaining, Tenzo and Genma were already gone.

He sighed helplessly, still standing on the idiot brothers.

"Hey, big guys… want to eat something delicious?"

Raijin's eyes lit up instantly. "Food?! Where is it?"

Fujin, though also an idiot, had slightly more sense.

He squinted suspiciously at Itsuki. "Are you going to give us food? Then you're our new Big Brother."

"That's right! The one who gives us food is the Big Brother!" Raijin agreed eagerly.

Itsuki smirked, lifting his foot to release them. A shadow clone of his darted off.

"My clone is going to fetch food. But until then, you need to help me. Put all these people back into their cells. Do that, and you'll eat to your hearts' content. Got it?"

"Oh oh oh! Eat! Eat!!" Raijin shouted with joy.

"Idiot!" Fujin smacked his younger brother. "Didn't you hear? We have to work before we can eat. Work, then eat!"

"Yes, brother! Big Brother! Work, then eat! Eat!!" Raijin cheered, suddenly full of energy.

Under the intimidation of the two brothers, the captured criminals didn't dare resist.

One by one, they shuffled back into their cells, obediently locked away.

Itsuki rubbed his chin thoughtfully. If handled right, these two meatheads could actually be useful allies.

Soon, his shadow clone returned with piles of food and stayed behind to guard them.

The "Itsuki" still standing there wasn't the real body, but just a wooden clone.

The wooden clone identified the direction Mizuki had fled and darted toward where Ino had been kidnapped.

If I'm right, Mizuki must have arranged to meet Chie Mai at a set location.

Konoha Gymnasium, rooftop of the observation tower.

Even Itsuki was surprised. Orochimaru had been defeated too easily.

"No… this isn't Uncle Snake's style!"

Something felt wrong. Itsuki rushed forward to inspect.

Sure enough, only discarded snake skin remained, a gaping hole beneath it. Orochimaru had shed his body and escaped.

Damn… he really is harder to kill than a cockroach.

"He escaped?" Hiruzen Sarutobi's expression sank, his heart heavy with regret.

He had been prepared to die together with Orochimaru if necessary—anything to protect Konoha from lingering threats.

But now, Orochimaru had slipped away.

Even so, the sight of Konoha's younger generation fighting so fiercely filled Hiruzen with pride.

Itsuki waved his hand, cutting off his chakra output and halting the Shinigami's summoning.

The Shinigami, disconnected from its caster, stood dazed for a long moment before dissipating.

This time, the Reaper Death Seal hadn't touched the real world at all.

The only damage dealt was to Orochimaru's soul, likely inflicted by the Four Purple Flame Formation's strain.

How serious the wound was—only Orochimaru himself knew.

Activating Kagura's Mind's Eye, Itsuki sensed Orochimaru already fleeing with the Sound Four.

Most of his other subordinates had been killed by Konoha's shinobi and the Anbu.

The Sand shinobi were retreating in panic, though clearly not all would make it out alive.

As for Kusagakure's shinobi? They had already fled long ago. Not a trace remained.

Itsuki's gaze shifted to the First and Second Hokage, their chakra signatures still suppressed by Mito Uzumaki's sealing chains.

Because Orochimaru had been forced to retreat, his control had weakened, allowing Hashirama and Tobirama to regain their senses.

At their urging, Mito finally began withdrawing her Adamantine Sealing Chains.

"Sister-in-law," Tobirama said dryly, arms crossed, "do you have some personal grudge against us? Taking this chance to keep us restrained on purpose?"

With Mito's perception ability, there was no way she hadn't realized they'd regained their consciousness.

She had simply kept them bound until they themselves spoke.

Tobirama had no idea how he'd offended Mito, so he assumed it was his brother's fault. He glared sideways at Hashirama.

"Ah… this…" Hashirama scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. He opened his mouth, then closed it, unsure what to say.

After all, they were already dead. Even though they had once been husband and wife, this situation was… awkward.

Or maybe… the one Hashirama truly longed to see right now wasn't his wife, but Uchiha Madara.
