Chapter 53 - Chapter 052: Wow, Sister Anko Is So Awesome

The next day.

Itsuki had just woken up and felt uncomfortable in some parts of his body.

He tried to get up, but realized he couldn't move.

What's going on?!

Itsuki's eyes snapped open and he found several long snakes wrapped around him, binding him to the bed and quilt.

There was someone else in the room. It was his biological sister, Anko Mitarashi, whom he had just recognized yesterday.

At this moment, Anko was sitting on the desk with one foot on the chair and the other leg crossed.

She was twirling a kunai in her hand while watching Itsuki with a playful smile.

From Itsuki's angle, he could clearly see her long legs in fishnet stockings—and some of the scenery under her short skirt.

He had to admit, the dynamic vision of the Sharingan was… excellent.

This kind of "surprise" first thing in the morning? Respect needed to be shown.

"Have you seen enough?"

Anko noticed Itsuki's expression but didn't mind at all.

She grinned and said, "Want me to come closer so you can get a better look?"

"Ahem!" Itsuki quickly turned his head, embarrassed.

He shifted his body and forced the topic to change. "Sister Anko, what are you doing?"

"What I want to do depends on you." Anko jumped down from the desk and walked over.

She bent forward, licking his cheek with her tongue before narrowing her eyes. "My dear little brother… shouldn't you give your sister an explanation?"

"Depending on your answer, I'll decide what to do. If it doesn't satisfy me, I can't guarantee I won't do something… extreme."

The kunai in her hand lowered until the tip pressed against a very dangerous part of the quilt.

Itsuki's face changed instantly. "Stop! Stop right now! This isn't funny!"

Anko clearly noticed the "respect" she had received earlier and was now using it to her advantage.

"So, do you think your sister is joking?" Her smile never faded, leaving Itsuki unable to guess her true intentions.

"Sister Anko, please don't be impulsive—just hear me out!" Cold sweat ran down his back.

He had originally thought about playing dumb and dodging the issue, but this was the most dangerous kind of threat for a man.

Sure, he could break free with his strength… but if he slipped even slightly, that fragile place could be damaged. A single cut could ruin his entire future happiness.

"I'm waiting for your explanation."

Fortunately, Anko pulled the kunai back, though she didn't release the snakes. Instead, she dragged a chair over and sat down.

Itsuki coughed lightly, putting on a pitiful look. "I wanted to tell you, but I didn't know where you were. Besides, I just came back from a mission. I was ambushed outside the village, completely exhausted. My plan was to settle in here first, then invite you over later. But the moment I touched the bed, I passed out."

"Sister Anko, I never meant to hide it from you. It just turned out that way. Even if you hadn't shown up today, I would've found a way to let you know."

Since she had already found this place, there was no need for Itsuki to cover up.

Sure enough, the saying was true: the one who cries loudest gets fed first.

Hearing that, Anko's face softened with guilt.

She quickly withdrew the snakes and helped Itsuki sit up, fixing his clothes and hair. Then she kissed him hard on the cheek.

"I'm sorry, Itsuki. I didn't know the situation. I thought you looked down on a poor family like mine after moving into such a big house. I misunderstood you. This kiss is my compensation!"

Anko was straightforward—one was one, two was two. She was surprisingly easy to appease.

Itsuki felt secretly triumphant but kept his expression serious. "Sister Anko, once I recognized you as my sister, that's for life. Besides, I'm just a rookie genin, while you're already a special jonin. Honestly, I'm more worried you'd look down on me."

"Heh, about that…" Anko smirked and proudly pulled out a shiny jonin certificate.

Itsuki froze. Then realization hit him.

Her group level had been boosted to level 3 yesterday, giving her a 300% buff bonus. With that kind of cheat, passing the jonin exam was basically a formality.

Still, he hadn't expected her to be so impatient.

They had parted ways just yesterday afternoon. Now, at dawn, she already had the certificate.

Itsuki could easily imagine how Anko must've used her "innocent smile," her "model citizen" act, and her "law-abiding" talk to persuade people into running the exam for her—probably even dragging the Third Hokage into it.

"Wow, Sister Anko is so awesome!" Itsuki cheered, hugging her with a happy face.

Anko didn't push him away. Instead, she leaned in and returned the hug.

The result? Itsuki was almost knocked flat—but Anko caught him in time.

Wow. The elasticity… his nose almost started bleeding.

As expected, the members of this system chat group were far more entertaining than those ordinary "flower buds."

Swish!

Just then, a figure appeared on the balcony, holding a food basket.

It was Tenzō again!

And this time, he wasn't even wearing his ANBU mask.

"Sorry, did I interrupt?" Tenzo looked embarrassed at the sight of Itsuki in Anko's arms.

Anko, for once, looked awkward too.

She had been teasing a little boy and was caught red-handed. Even with her carefree personality, she couldn't help feeling self-conscious.

Meanwhile, Itsuki acted as though nothing was wrong, resting his head against Anko while looking at Tenzo with dazed eyes.

After a moment, he greeted him casually. "Good morning, Teacher Tenzo. Why are you here so early?"

Tenzo blinked, realizing he had misunderstood.

Right… Itsuki is just a kid, and Anko's already… well, older. How could there be anything between them? I've been hanging around Kakashi-senpai too much—dirty thoughts already clouding my brain.

"Yes, that must be it."

He quickly composed himself, stepped inside, and raised the basket. "I thought you'd be awake by now, so I brought breakfast. Like I told you yesterday, starting today I'll handle your three meals a day."

Itsuki was stunned. Wait, he was serious about that?!

A teacher delivering three meals a day to his student? If people found out, he'd probably get roasted.

But after tasting Tenzo's breakfast, Itsuki decided not to overthink it.

Fine, let him spoil me. I've got Wood Release anyway—how many people in the entire ninja world can really touch me?

There was plenty of food, enough for Anko to join in as well, and all three of them ate their fill.

During the meal, Itsuki also learned that Anko had found out about his new place thanks to Tenzo.

The two of them weren't especially close, but since both had ties to the Third Hokage—and connections to Orochimaru—it wasn't surprising they knew of each other.
