Da-da-da!
Bang!
Boom, boom!
In the garden of a luxurious villa, a large number of fully armed bodyguards fired wildly at the monster before them.
But the bullets barely scratched the creature.
Instead, the team of dozens was being forced back step by step under its overwhelming power.
The villa's once-elegant walls were now riddled with cracks, and the carefully manicured garden had been trampled into chaos by the rampaging beast.
Inside the Safe Room
Hidden deep within the villa, a white-haired old man trembled as he watched the surveillance feed.
Collins Mack — one of Austin's richest men and a leader in the medical industry — knew all too well what was happening.
He'd heard what happened to Klok Moses.
Attacked by a monster after refusing the Brian couple's acquisition offer.
And Collins had rejected them too.
He'd spent decades building his company, now valued in the billions.
The thought of handing over 30% of his shares for a few hundred million made him furious.
Even when the city council tried to mediate, he'd stood firm.
Then, after Moses's "accident," the Brians called again. Collins instantly understood — this was revenge.
Still, he refused their offer and instead beefed up his private security, hiring dozens of armed guards and equipping them with heavy firepower.
He even reached out to his political and business contacts for help.
But one by one, they turned him down — even Mayor James Rondeau, the man he'd practically funded into office, refused and urged him to sell to the Brians.
"Damn it… they're all in on it," Collins cursed under his breath.
He didn't want to end up like Moses, but neither could he surrender his life's work so easily.
Then came the monster.
Watching it tear through his guards like paper, bullets bouncing harmlessly off its skin, Collins felt his strength drain away.
He slumped into his chair, suddenly feeling a decade older.
Desperately, he reached for his phone.
If this was the only way to survive, he'd call the Brians and give them everything.
But just as his finger hovered over the call button—
A dazzling golden light burst across the screen.
In an instant, the monster that had slaughtered his guards was sent flying with a single kick!
Standing there in a striking yellow-striped suit, radiating pure power and confidence—
It was Kai.
The Flash Arrives
Collins froze, eyes wide. Then he shot up from his chair, trembling with excitement.
He knew that suit.
It was Flash, the superhero who had saved countless lives during the Battle of New York!
"Thank God," he whispered, his voice breaking with relief.
Just when he thought his end had come, one of the Avengers had appeared.
He clenched his fists and stared at the monitor, his heart pounding. With Flash here, that monster didn't stand a chance.
In the Garden
The monster staggered to its feet, shaking its head.
Then, with a furious roar, it lunged at Kai, claws slashing through the air.
"Oh, that's scary," Kai muttered with a smirk.
As the creature came crashing down, Kai's right arm darkened instantly — Armament Haki coating his fist in black.
He met the beast's strike head-on.
Boom!
Crack!
The impact shattered the monster's thick arm into chunks of bloody flesh.
"Rrrrroar!"
It screamed in agony and snapped its jaws toward Kai's head.
With a blur of light, Kai dodged the rancid bite and countered — his leg glowing brilliantly as he unleashed a lightning-fast kick.
Boom!
The monster flew backward, crashing straight into the garden's fountain. The marble exploded into shards as water burst into the air.
The creature rolled several times before stopping, its severed arm already beginning to regenerate.
"Oh my… a lab-made monster, huh? That's terrifying," Kai said lightly, walking toward it.
A blinding glow flickered at his fingertips — ready to pierce its skull at any second.
The beast's blood-red eyes wavered.
For the first time, there was fear.
It roared, turned, and bolted.
"Running away now?" Kai grinned.
With a flash of light, he vanished — reappearing directly in front of the creature.
"Speed is weight," Kai said coldly. "Have you ever been kicked at the speed of light?"
Above, in the Quinjet
From the hovering Quinjet, Melinda May glanced down at the scene and asked, "Coulson, did you tell Kai to bring it in alive?"
"If he can," Coulson replied dryly.
Watching the monster getting tossed around like a rag doll, he couldn't help but smile.
"You know, Simmons' test yesterday detected traces of the Super Soldier Serum," he added. "If we can capture one of these things alive, maybe we'll finally get some answers."
Then, looking down at the terrified Collins Mack's villa, Coulson smirked.
"Let's land. I've got a feeling Mr. Mack is going to be a lot more cooperative than Klok Moses."
