Obito stood atop the Ten-Tails' colossal body, his eyes filled with disbelief and shock.
"This power… how is this possible!?"
Naruto's unstoppable Super Uzumaki Rasengan had carved shocking spiral cracks deep into the Ten-Tails' thick skin, as if it were about to tear the beast apart.
If I didn't have Kamui, I'd be nothing but ashes right now, Obito thought to himself, feeling secretly lucky but completely shaken by the sight before him.
Where he stood was a massive, spiral-shaped crater stretching over ten thousand meters wide.
White smoke continuously rose from the Ten-Tails' wounds as the creature slowly began to repair its body.
In the distance, Madara stood within his massive Susanoo, his gaze sharp as a blade.
Staring at the endless gully carved through the battlefield, a sense of indescribable shock welled up in his heart.
"Who the hell is that kid?"
He realized the situation had already gone far beyond his control.
The Ten-Tails hasn't even reached its complete form yet. Should I control Obito and use the Outer Path — Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive myself?
Naruto slowly descended from the sky, panting heavily. His eyes lingered on the sheer destruction caused by his single attack.
"The power of this Rasengan… seems a bit much."
The long, bottomless trench stretched endlessly before him. Collapsed rocks and dust lined the battlefield. It was a scene of pure devastation.
Naruto stared down at his hands, struggling to comprehend what he'd just done.
He had never imagined he could unleash such terrifying power—and all of it came from the strength passed to him by the boy who claimed to be his son, Boruto.
The Allied Shinobi Forces were just as stunned, their eyes glued to the ruined landscape.
"Is the Ten-Tails dead?"
"What just happened?"
Hinata stepped forward nervously, looking at Boruto with trembling hands.
"You… your name is Boruto, right?"
Boruto gave a soft smile. "Yeah, Mother."
Hearing him call her Mom again, Hinata's cheeks flushed pink.
She tried to calm herself and asked softly, "How far… how far from the future are you from? This war—our future—are we… are we okay?"
Boruto nodded gently, comforting her. "Don't worry, Mother. Our future selves are all alive and well."
Hinata let out a long, shaky breath of relief and patted her chest.
Hiashi and Neji, still stunned from the attack, slowly walked toward Boruto.
"Uncle Neji. Grandpa," Boruto greeted warmly.
Hiashi's face lit up with surprise at being called "Grandpa."
Neji, meanwhile, just stared, momentarily lost.
Meanwhile, deep underground, Black Zetsu poked his head out from beneath the battlefield. His black eyes narrowed, filled with unease.
"The Ten-Tails is injured… what should I do!?"
The Ten-Tails is only in its third stage. I must have Madara revived as the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and absorb the Divine Tree—only then can I awaken Mother!
"But what now? The Ten-Tails hasn't even absorbed the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails yet. It'll need time to reach its Divine Tree form… and I don't have time!"
Black Zetsu's mind raced. Every second mattered.
Suddenly, a dazzling white light exploded in the sky. A figure slowly emerged from it—Ōtsutsuki Urashiki.
Urashiki's Byakugan swept across the battlefield, his gaze locking onto the Ten-Tails in the massive crater.
"So that's the Ten-Tails… Kaguya's Ten-Tails. It's huge. This planet's life force must be extraordinary."
Then he turned and spotted the blond figure in the distance. "That brat's here too."
"That's Mother's clansman," Black Zetsu muttered, watching Urashiki's every move, "and also her enemy."
Boruto felt the foreign chakra as well. His eyes narrowed.
"Other matters can wait. But the Ōtsutsuki must die."
He created a shadow clone to protect Hinata and the others, then floated into the sky. Nine Truth-Seeking Balls rotated slowly behind him as he flew straight toward Urashiki.
Madara, still on the ground, watched Boruto fly past him. His gaze locked on the Truth-Seeking Balls.
"Truth-Seeking Balls? That kid's Yin–Yang Release… it's fully awakened. Just like the Sage of Six Paths."
"Damn it! He's coming straight for me!" Urashiki's Byakugan tracked Boruto's rapid approach. His face twisted in anger as his Six-Tomoe Red Rinnegan spun.
"Yomotsu Hirasaka!"
Space tore open behind Urashiki.
In the next second, rifts also opened above the Ten-Tails' head and beside Obito. Urashiki's body flickered and reappeared on top of the Ten-Tails.
Obito's eyes widened. "Space-Time Ninjutsu? Who are you!?"
Then he noticed Urashiki's eyes. "Rinnegan… and not just any Rinnegan—six tomoe!"
I sacrificed so much just to implant one of Madara's Rinnegan, and this bastard has a pair… with tomoe!?
"Hmph. Inferior creature," Urashiki said with disdain. "The Ten-Tails isn't something a worm like you can control. Your chakra—I'll take it."
He swung his fishing rod, but to his surprise, it passed through Obito's body like smoke.
"What?!"
Urashiki glared. "Kamui… so that's your trick. Not bad."
"Forget it. I'll just absorb the Ten-Tails' chakra first. That way, I'll have a better chance against that blond brat."
He stretched out his hand, and the Ten-Tails' chakra began gathering toward the fish basket at his waist.
"You're absorbing the Ten-Tails' chakra!" Obito was alarmed. He quickly formed a wooden spike and lunged at Urashiki.
Urashiki sneered. "An inferior creature thinks it can stop me?"
He opened another space rift with Yomotsu Hirasaka, but Obito slipped into Kamui's dimension.
The Ten-Tails' single scarlet eye narrowed dangerously as it sensed Urashiki's theft. Ten massive tails swung at him like mountains.
"You want to devour me? That won't work!"
A red circular shield flared around Urashiki, knocking back the tails one by one.
Then—whoosh!—a golden streak tore through the sky. Boruto shot forward like a comet, leaving sonic booms behind him.
Nine Truth-Seeking Balls spun around his arm, wrapped in silver-white chakra that shone like lightning.
"Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"
A massive gravitational vortex burst outward, transforming into a raging storm that expanded rapidly.
"So fast—damn it! I only absorbed a little—" Urashiki didn't even finish before the storm swallowed him whole.
The already colossal crater grew even deeper. The winds ripped apart stone and earth, launching everything skyward.
The Ten-Tails roared in pain, its colossal body trembling violently. Obito used Kamui to return to the top of the beast, watching as the debris rained down like a storm.
"It's that blond kid!" Obito gritted his teeth, staring at Boruto hovering in mid-air.
Boruto, suspended high above, looked down at him.
"Villain," Boruto said coldly, "I'll deal with the Ōtsutsuki first… then I'll take care of you."
