Chapter 49 - Chapter 49 New Member: Jie

The Invisible Man looked at Ned and Peter Parker's excited expressions and couldn't help but get an idea.

Invisible Man: "How about this — would you two be interested in appearing in my next movie?"

Ned and Peter both froze, staring at him in disbelief.

Ned clenched his fists and held them against his cheeks, his face glowing with excitement.Ned: "A movie?! You mean we can actually be in a superhero movie?"

Even the usually reserved Peter Parker couldn't hide his excitement.Peter: "Yes, Mr. Invisible Man! We'd love to!"

Invisible Man (grinning): "Haha, as long as you're happy. The Invisible Man 2 will start shooting soon. I think you two could play some fun cameo roles — small but noticeable characters."

Ned waved his fists, unable to contain himself.Ned: "Really?! That's amazing! My dream has always been to act in a superhero movie!"

Peter smiled shyly.Peter: "Me too. Thank you so much, Mr. Invisible Man!"

Invisible Man: "Don't mention it. I'm happy to help make your dream come true. Once filming starts, I'll give you a call and set everything up."

He took out his phone.

Upon hearing that, Ned froze with his mouth wide open, his excitement instantly turning to shock.

Peter blushed and entered his number into the phone.Peter: "I don't have my own cell phone yet — that's my home number."

The Invisible Man nodded and then turned to the still-frozen Ned.

Ned (mumbling while pinching his arm): "Ow? Does this hurt? Am I dreaming?"

"Ah!" Peter yelped, swatting Ned's hand away and blowing on his arm.

The Invisible Man couldn't help but laugh at the scene.

Ned (finally snapping out of it): "Hey, I've got a phone!"He entered his number, then grinned awkwardly at the Invisible Man.

On the Way Home

Ned (punching Peter excitedly): "See, Peter! I told you — if we hadn't tried, how would we know he'd actually meet us?"

Peter nodded, still in disbelief.

Ned (proudly): "As the number one fan of the Invisible Man, even God must've been moved by my fandom."

Peter chuckled.Peter: "Number one fan, huh?"

Ned nodded seriously.Ned: "Yep. I'm a VIP member of the Superhero Fan Club."

He pulled out his phone and showed Peter a shiny badge on the screen.Ned: "See this? It's the exclusive VIP Superhero Badge. I'm planning to make it into a real pin!"

Peter (in awe): "That's so cool!"

Nathan Hawk Group Headquarters

Inside Nathan Hawk's office —

Nathan Hawk (reading a report thoughtfully): "As expected, when it comes to influence, no one surpasses the Invisible Man."

Although he hadn't appeared directly on the battlefield a month ago, rumors spread that the Invisible Man had secretly fought alien invaders using his invisibility powers.

Those rumors grew stronger by the day — even Tony Stark had posted a video jokingly asking if the Invisible Man was the one who ended the war.

With Hollywood media and Hawk Group's New Era Media pushing his image, Alex Hassell — The Invisible Man — had become the face of the entire Hawk Group. And to be fair, he was extremely good at it.

Reporters came every day to interview him about his thoughts on the war and his future plans. He always responded with humor and charm, making everyone love this mysterious superhero.

His upcoming movie, The Invisible Man 2, was already breaking pre-sale records. Fans were eagerly awaiting its release.

But Alex wasn't just a hero or actor — he had become a beloved public figure. His charisma, kindness, and courage had inspired millions.

He often participated in charity events — visiting sick children, comforting the elderly, and supporting environmental causes.

His positive energy gave people hope and courage for the future.

Sales of his merchandise skyrocketed — masks, T-shirts, and action figures featuring the Invisible Man became bestsellers.

Everything about him was thriving. He was not only a superhero of the Hawk Group but also a respected and adored cultural icon.

And truth be told, if Nathan Hawk didn't already know Alex's true identity, even he might have been fooled by him.

Of course, the benefits were undeniable.

Suddenly, a hexagram symbol glowed on the floor. A burst of light filled the room.

Voice (low and cold): "Balance is a lie. We are the true ninjas."

Nathan Hawk raised an eyebrow.

A blade pressed against his throat — cold and sharp.

Zed: "Who are you? Where am I?"

Nathan Hawk (calmly): "This is another world. You've been summoned."

Zed: "Another… world?"

He looked around. Everything felt foreign — the air, the energy, the atmosphere. His instincts told him this place was not his own.

Zed: "I want to leave."

Nathan smirked.Nathan: "All right. Observe, then come back."

Even he hadn't expected to summon this man — a villain on the surface, but with the soul of a warrior.

Zed's eyes narrowed as a door opened beside him. Standing in the doorway was Albert Wesker, cold-faced, radiating murderous intent.

Zed frowned.

Nathan (casually): "Wesker, let him go."

Wesker stepped aside, and Zed vanished in a flash of shadow.

Wesker glanced back.Nathan (smiling): "Don't worry. He'll be back."

After arriving in the Marvel world, Zed found himself far from the lands of Ionia and Runeterra. He felt dizzy amid the noise and chaos of New York City — the towering skyscrapers, bustling traffic, glowing billboards — everything was alien to him.

He disguised himself, no longer wearing his iconic ninja armor, and tried to blend into the crowd.

Zed (to himself): "This place… it feels like Piltover."

Walking through the streets, he marveled at the strange technologies — neon lights, flying vehicles, and even street performers captured on giant screens. It was a world unlike any he had ever seen.

In a nearby park, he noticed a group of children playing and talking excitedly about superheroes.

Their eyes sparkled with admiration — the same look Zed once had when he was young, dreaming of greatness.

Zed: "Are there… heroes in this world?"

A little girl looked up at him and said proudly,Girl: "Of course! There are lots of superheroes! They protect people and keep the world safe."

The other kids eagerly surrounded him, telling stories of Iron Man, The Invisible Man, Electro, and Super V.

Zed listened quietly, his sharp eyes softening.

Through the children, he learned that this city had recently endured a massive war — yet even after all that, there was warmth, kindness, and hope in their hearts.

Though he was once the Master of Shadows, Zed found himself moved. He silently vowed to protect this new world too — to fight for peace and balance, wherever he went.

Over time, he met others, learned about their lives, and began to change. He was no longer just an assassin. He was something greater — a bridge between two worlds.

And when he eventually discovered that Nathan Hawk — the man who summoned him — was also the boss of the Invisible Man, Electro, and Super V, he finally understood…
