Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

After another full afternoon of sparring with Lee, Ayato finally dragged himself home for dinner.

"Raw power's not enough. Combat sense, chakra control—those are the gaps."

Night routine: Yang Release to flush fatigue, Yin Release to coax bone growth into makeshift weapons. He'd barely touched chakra against Lee—experience, not domination, was the goal.

Weird, though. "Why does my chakra reshape my body? Bloodline… or transmigrator perk?"

The eye experiment had started as a hunch. Only now, with routine locked in, did he have brain-space to question it. If Senju, Kaguya, Hyuga, or Uchiha bloodlines were that easy to hack, Orochimaru would've cracked the code decades ago. Personal anomaly.

Which made Orochimaru the single biggest threat. One whisper of "self-modifying kekkei genkai" and Ayato would wake up in a jar.

Whatever. It works. World-saving's Naruto's job. I just train, then outrun the apocalypse. Dying once was enough—who knows if the soul stays "me" after round two.

Next Morning – Guy Squad Rally Point

Low-rank mission of the day. Tenten scanned the clearing. No Ayato.

Proposed yesterday, ghosts today. Scumbag. Didn't even say bye after training. Made me mess up the mission—Neji yelled. Afternoon spar with Neji? Abuse. Morning mission? Yelled again!

The others weren't surprised—Ayato had said afternoon only.

Meanwhile, Ayato was in his private courtyard, grinding weights. Same gear as the public field, zero commute.

Afternoon – Training Ground

Ayato strolled in post-lunch. Squad already mid-session, bento boxes open—maximize training, minimize downtime.

"Ayato!" Lee vaulted off the bar.

Before he could speak, Tenten slid in front.

"I'm sparring him today. You take Neji." Fist clenched, scrolls prepped at her hip.

Lee blinked. Free fight? Sweet! He bounced to Neji.

"Warm-up?" Tenten asked, eyes sharp.

Ayato shook his head, still processing. Yesterday: avoidance. Today: murder intent?

Tenten's glare intensified. *Innocent face my ass. Proposed, ditched, cost me two scoldings and an afternoon of getting wrecked by Neji. Payback.

Round 1 – Tenten

Yesterday's fight had given her the blueprint:

Zero combat experience. No ninjutsu.Weapon spam = hard counter.

"BEGIN!"

Tenten launched—six meters up. Twin scrolls unfurled, spinning like barber poles.

Fingers danced across seals. Poof—poof—poof. Shuriken, kunai—rain.

Ayato froze for half a heartbeat. Cute… wait, INCOMING.

He bolted. Coverage was wide, but his speed was wider.

Tenten landed—

—and the sky closed. Blades from every angle. No gaps.

How?!

"Her weapons don't miss," Guy narrated from the sidelines.

Clearer view:

Dodged projectiles ricocheted off each other or trees, redirecting.Chakra wires yanked strays into new vectors.Grounded weapons re-summoned mid-flight.

"Full arsenal control," Neji muttered. Chakra drain + mental load = insane. She never uses this in practice. Life-or-death only.

"What did this kid do to piss her off?" Neji wondered. They met yesterday.
