When Havria woke up, she immediately sat upright.
Jiang Yan reached out and steadied her slightly swaying body.
"How are you? Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
His voice was gentle as he asked.
Havria shook her head, anxiety filling her eyes.
"Lord Immortal, the matter at Blackrock Quarry—"
Jiang Yan raised a hand, stopping her.
"Do you know why you're lying here right now?"
He flicked her lightly on the forehead.
"You're a dignified god, yet you got captured without even managing to make a sound."
"I really don't know what you've been learning all these thousands of years."
Havria's face instantly flushed red.
She couldn't refute a single word.
"Enough. I've already handled the matter."
Jiang Yan said calmly.
After confirming that no traces of Abyssal corruption remained in Havria's body, he stood up and turned to Guizhong.
"Sister Guizhong, I'll leave Havria to you."
"She just recovered, so let her rest here for a while."
"Alright."
Guizhong nodded, indicating she would take care of things here.
Seeing that Guizhong agreed, Jiang Yan turned to Ganyu, who had been sitting nearby watching over Havria.
"Ganyu, come with me."
"I need your help handling something."
"Ah? Oh!"
Ganyu froze briefly before quickly standing and walking to Jiang Yan's side.
The two then left together.
"Ah Yan, where are we going?"
After stepping outside, Ganyu asked curiously.
"Hmm…"
Jiang Yan didn't answer immediately, simply leading her toward Yuehai Pavilion.
"Let's go there first."
"There's a lot to explain."
A lot?
Ganyu felt puzzled.
Didn't he say the matter was already resolved?
Though confused, she obediently followed him to Yuehai Pavilion.
Third Floor, Yuehai Pavilion
Jiang Yan entered the office, opened a drawer, and pulled out several sheets of paper, quickly writing something down.
Not long after, he finished and handed them to Ganyu.
"Here."
"These are the names of the merchants who suffered losses in this incident."
After handing over the documents, he continued:
"The Abyss isn't something suitable for public knowledge."
"Later, draft an announcement and shift the blame for this incident onto the Treasure Hoarders."
"At the same time, notify the Yuheng Office and inform the Tianquan military command."
"Tell them this is my direct order—use this incident as justification to launch a complete sweep of all Treasure Hoarder activity within Liyue."
Recently, Treasure Hoarders had become increasingly rampant, and the people of Liyue were growing more and more dissatisfied.
Most Liyue citizens would never become Treasure Hoarders.
After all, Jiang Yan's national policies for Liyue citizens were extremely generous.
These Treasure Hoarders mostly came from other nations, drawn by rumors of Liyue's prosperity.
But instead of making an honest living, they chose the wrong path.
Jiang Yan maintained very strict standards for foreigners seeking Liyue citizenship.
After discovering how difficult it was to obtain citizenship and enjoy its benefits, many outsiders instead targeted the wealthy locals already benefiting from those policies.
That was one of the main reasons Treasure Hoarders had recently flourished within Liyue.
And this incident conveniently gave Jiang Yan a reason to act.
Ganyu nodded, but then frowned slightly.
"Will they really return those ores intact?"
Jiang Yan shook his head.
"That's basically impossible."
"If we get back even half, that'll already be fortunate."
"For the missing portion, compensate according to market value."
"This incident was caused by our own administrative failure."
"We can't blame others for that."
"Understood."
Ganyu stored the documents and headed out.
Just after leaving the room, a sudden wave of nausea rose in her stomach.
She instinctively covered her mouth and retched lightly.
"How strange…"
"Did I eat too much today?"
She frowned, puzzled by the sudden discomfort.
But there was too much work waiting, so she didn't dwell on it.
She simply assumed she had overeaten.
Arriving on the second floor of Yuehai Pavilion, Ganyu quickly contacted the Yuheng Office and relayed Jiang Yan's orders.
Tianheng Mountain — Tianheng Army Camp
"Yes, Miss Ganyu. Understood!"
Holding a compass-like communication device, the Yuheng representative responded respectfully.
"Yes! We guarantee completion of the mission!"
The glow on the compass faded as communication ended.
Lowering the now-dark device, he turned to the nearby guard.
"Go summon the Tianheng Army Commander."
"Yes!"
The guard immediately stood straight, saluted, and hurried outside.
Not long after, the commander returned, still sweaty from training.
"Lord Yuheng, has something happened?"
Without even wiping his sweat, he stood upright before the official.
"Yes. Emergency military orders."
"Tianheng Army Commander Zhang Qingshan awaiting instructions!"
At the words "emergency military orders," Zhang Qingshan instantly shouted his acknowledgment and saluted sharply.
"The Tianquan has issued orders."
"Treasure Hoarders have become rampant and even dared attack Blackrock Quarry directly."
"This is a blatant provocation and insult toward Liyue."
"All Millelith divisions are to enter combat readiness immediately."
"A large-scale, comprehensive purge is to be carried out across all managed territories."
The official's voice was stern.
"Please inform Lord Tianquan that he can rest assured!"
"The Tianheng Army will thoroughly eradicate all Treasure Hoarder activity within the Tianheng region!"
Hearing that those rat-like Treasure Hoarders had become so brazen, Zhang Qingshan's face filled with anger.
Did they really think the Millelith were just decorations?
