Kanna yawned, following behind Outcast.
Perhaps last night's "thinking" consumed too much, leading to "severe" lack of sleep, or perhaps the soft, warm bed sealed her "frail" body.
Kanna had a rare urge to lie in bed.
However, in order to successfully join Rhodes Island, after several struggles, she finally used her "powerful will" to overcome the bed's seal and laboriously got up.
As she walked, she tilted her nose and sniffed.
Mm~ It's the way to the cafeteria—Rhodes Island is a good civilization.
The slight discomfort from waking up early vanished instantly at the thought of eating.
By then, quite a few onlookers had already gathered in the dining hall. Kanna's achievements in the cafeteria last night had somehow spread, and many Operators were curious about what kind of person could eat an amount of food equivalent to their own body size.
Of course, the majority were Medical Department Operators. One particular Blood Demon, who preferred to remain anonymous, upon hearing the news that morning, was initially eager to go directly to Outcast to demand the person, but was forcefully suppressed by Kal'tsit and was currently hanging on the bridge, greeting the morning sun.
When Outcast brought Kanna in, she noticed many people looking at them with curious gazes.
Kanna was soon led to a spot that had already been cleared.
Right across from her, the signboard girl of Rhodes Island, the top capitalist who once declared, "Doctor, you still have many things to deal with; you can't rest yet!" and the successor to the Demon King—Amiya—sat there with a gentle smile.
Kanna knew that Amiya possessed Originium Arts inherited from Theresa, likely allowing her to perceive others' emotions or empathize with them.
This meant that anyone with ill intentions towards Rhodes Island would be exposed instantly in her presence.
But Kanna wasn't worried. As the protagonist of the story, the "Eden" of Terra, she only had good feelings towards Rhodes Island's conduct.
More than malice, she was currently feeling hunger… *hiss* ~ There were even soup dumplings and fried dough sticks! Rhodes Island's breakfast truly brought tears to her eyes.
There was no need to deliberately sense it; from Kanna's eyes, which were fixed intently on the food, not just Amiya, but even those nearby could tell her mood.
Amiya lightly nodded, signaling to someone somewhere, then spoke, "Let's eat first; I see Kanna is already impatient."
Upon receiving approval, Kanna reached out her small hand and grabbed the food in front of her.
Across the table, Amiya quickly finished her breakfast, then signaled to Outcast before standing up and walking out.
As the heir of Rhodes Island, Kal'tsit had arranged many things for her to learn. Her waiting here for Kanna was also Kal'tsit's suggestion; after all, as the leader of Rhodes Island, a "promising" combatant like Kanna would undoubtedly become her right-hand woman.
Therefore, the earlier they met, the sooner a bond could be formed.
For now, it was just to get acquainted; Kal'tsit would later arrange specific times for them to spend together, thereby narrowing the distance and strengthening their relationship.
As Amiya left, Kanna demonstrated in front of everyone what it meant to "you dare serve it, I dare eat it."
Not only did she finish dozens of cages of prepared soup dumplings, but she also consumed an entire cart of fried dough sticks and half a bucket of soy milk that had just arrived.
After eating, she still looked like she hadn't had enough.
Fortunately, Kanna had self-control. Feeling that this meal had increased her "battery" by nearly 3 points, she stopped eating. However, this "gluttonous" eating style still terrified the onlookers.
