Chapter 27 - Ch 27 : Maid's Mischief

"Yuuto. I need you to take my virginity"

The words echoed in my bedroom air like someone had detonated a conversational nuke. Rias stood in the middle of my room, hands balled into fists, shoulders squared, looking like she was about to charge into battle instead of... well.

If it wasn't for me knowing the plot, I would've jumped into this offer without thinking twice. Hell, most guys wouldn't even hesitate. But I knew exactly what this was.

Desperation in its purest form.

She wanted to get out of her marriage with Riser so badly that she is willing to use this as her final option.

In devil society, losing your virginity before marriage? That's grounds for breaking an engagement. The ultimate escape route. But it also made it predictable.

Still, I also knew what happened next. Grayfia would show up. This whole thing would get interrupted before anything actually went down.

Might as well play along.

"Gladly, Buchou" I said, keeping my voice level "How shall we start this? Because it's my first time as well."

Her fingers went to her uniform buttons. They worked efficiently, as she unbuttoned them one by one.

"You're a virgin as well, Yuuto?" A real surprise broke through her desperation as she smiled slyly "For someone surrounded by girls all the time, it's hard to believe you have no experience with this."

The blazer hit my floor. Then the shirt. She stood there in black underwear.

I pulled my shirt off. One smooth motion, gone.

Rias's eyes went wide. She stared at my chest, my shoulders, my arms—taking in the results of constant training leading to well toned physique. Her gaze lingered before she caught herself and looked away, crimson painting her cheeks.

I held out my hand "Let me try what I know, since you have no experience with it"

She took it without thinking, letting me guide her to my bed. The mattress dipped under us as she lay back, her long crimson hair spreading across my white pillowcase.

I positioned myself over her, arms braced on either side of her head.

"Buchou" I said quietly, looking straight into those blue-green eyes "Are you sure about this? Because once we do it, we can never go back to the same as we were before"

Her heart was hammering—I could literally see her pulse jumping in her throat. Something flickered across her face, like she'd just recognized a scene from one of those romance anime she watched.

My hands moved to rest on her breasts.

She nodded, voice barely there "Yes"

I leaned down until my breath ghosted her ear. Dropped my voice low.

"Here, I come"

Silver light exploded across my floor.

Terrible timing. Couldn't she have arrived a bit earlier or later, why in between, for devil sake. If it was intended on purpose, I hope you go to hell - Oh right, someone did that already.

The magic circle was nothing like Rias's crimson patterns—this was pure silver, so bright it hurt to look at directly. Frost actually formed along the edges where it touched my floor.

Grayfia Lucifuge stepped through.

Silver hair in that perfect braid. Maid uniform so pristine it looked like she'd never worn it before. And those silver eyes, completely emotionless, taking in the scene with zero reaction.

Me shirtless over Rias in her underwear on my bed.

Her expression didn't even twitch, maintained by her professional and calm demeanor.

"Lady Rias," Grayfia said, her voice maintaining that perfect professional courtesy despite the situation "Lord Sirzechs and your father would be displeased if you were to lose your purity to a lowborn"

I moved off the bed, letting Rias sit up. Kept my face neutral through pure stubbornness, but internally? I was pissed.

A lowborn, huh.

At least I don't have a maid fetish. And, no way in hell would I dress up as a maid while being the strongest Queen in existence. That's just—

"I will decide whom I lose my purity to!"

Rias rose to her feet, power crackling around her like red lightning. Her hair actually lifted from the energy "And I won't allow anyone, not even the Queen of a Satan himself—to address my dear servant as lowborn! Yuuto has proven himself more worthy than most pureblood devils I know!"

Warmth bloomed in my chest, cutting straight through the anger. She was actually defending me. Getting genuinely pissed on my behalf.

Grayfia's eyes shifted to me.

Here comes the apology, probably. But what she did next, was enough to put a virgin question if losing virginity is really that good?

She walked toward me instead.

Each step was perfectly measured, completely silent despite her heels. She stopped right in front of me—close enough that I caught the scent of her enchanting perfume.

Then her hand came up and traced across my bare chest.

The touch sent electricity down my spine. Her fingers were cool, deliberate, mapping the muscle with what felt like curiosity except it absolutely didn't feel forceful at all. She looked at my face the entire time, those silver eyes studying me with an intensity that made my danger instincts scream.

What the actual fuck—

"Grayfia" Rias's voice cracked like a whip "What are you doing, to my dear Knight?"

The hand pulled back immediately. Grayfia stepped away like nothing had happened, expression resetting to perfect neutrality.

"Ahem! Lady Rias, We should leave now" she said.

Rias grabbed her clothes off the floor, yanking them on with jerky movements, while Silver haired maid didn't excuse her gaze off me as I tried to cover myself, but failed miserably.

Once dressed, she came over and cupped my cheek. Gentle. Her thumb brushed my cheekbone.

"Thank you, Yuuto," she whispered, eyes soft "For going along with my stupid request"

She kissed my cheek—quick and chaste—before pulling away to join Grayfia at the magic circle. The silver-haired Queen kept staring at me, unreadable, right up until the teleportation light took them away.

Then they were gone.

I stood there alone in my room. Shirtless. Trying to process what the hell just happened.

Rias came here desperate to lose her virginity to escape her engagement. I played along knowing Grayfia would interrupt. Grayfia showed up on time, called me lowborn, got defended by Rias, then felt up my chest while staring into my eyes before just... leaving?

I dropped onto my bed, running both hands through my hair.

This means Riser shows up tomorrow. The marriage gets pushed forward. Everything's still following canon despite my interference.

But that moment with Grayfia...

Did she find out about my binding contract with Tiamat? Was she checking for something?

No. Tiamat wasn't stupid. She knew I was a Knight of a Satan's sister. She wouldn't leave traces someone like Grayfia or Sirzechs could detect. The Dragon King had centuries of experience hiding her presence, so this was out of picture.

Or...

Could it be she was just mesmerized by my physique?

I actually snorted at that thought.

Yeah right. She's not only the strongest Queen but also the wife of Satan Sirzechs Lucifer himself. There's no universe where—

But the memory came back anyway: those cool fingers on my chest, silver eyes watching my face with something that looked almost like curiosity. Yander- No, what am I even thinking. I must be hallucinating seeing those eyes.

My luck with older women is getting ridiculous.

First Roygun asking me on a date. Then Akeno trusting me with her biggest secret and letting me touch her wings. Then Tiamat making a binding contract with me. And now Grayfia touching my chest while her lady watched?

What's next, accidentally seducing a magical girl Satan?

I shook my head, forcing those thoughts away.

Right. The reward.

I summoned the blue screen with a mental command. It popped up, glowing in my dark room.

[1 Character Card Available]

I selected it. The card flipped with way too much dramatic flair.

[Character Card: Reigen Arataka]

A guy in a cheap suit appeared, smiling like a used car salesman.

[Description: The self-proclaimed "Greatest Psychic of the 21st Century" and master of absolutely nothing. Despite having zero psychic powers, this conman somehow exorcises actual spirits through pure confidence, bullshit, and an inexplicable ability to make people believe he's competent. Special techniques include: Self-Defense Rush (weak punches with confidence), Hypnosis Punch (a regular punch with a fancy name), and talking his way out of anything. Strengths: Maxed charisma, surprising survival instincts, business sense. Weaknesses: Has no actual powers, will flee from real threats, questionable business ethics.]

You've got to be kidding me. Another one?

My luck with older women keeps improving but my gacha luck was getting absolute garbage lately. First Darkness—a masochistic crusader who's useless in combat. Now Reigen—a literal fraud with zero powers. Who am I gonna pull next, some feral boar boy who can't read?

*CONCERN*

I sighed and tossed the card into my inventory with Darkness and Mikey ( I am a Swordsman Not A One Kick Fighter!!! ). A collection ranging from "maybe useful" to "why does this exist."

Can't change it. Just gotta work with whatever the system gives me.

I collapsed back onto my bed properly. The pillow felt cool against my face, the mattress conforming to my body.

Most bittersweet day of my life.

Helping Akeno accept herself—beautiful. Almost sleeping with my King—bizarre and interrupted. Getting felt up by the strongest Queen alive—confusing and terrifying. Another useless character card—disappointing but expected.

I've had enough surprises.

Just want some peace now.

Sleep pulled at me, thoughts blurring into that space between awake and dreaming.

---

*The Next Morning*

Steam curled up from my teacup, carrying that rich smell of Akeno's special blend. I breathed it in, trying to ground myself in the moment—in this room, with these people, before everything turns into chaos.

Afternoon light striked through tall windows, casting golden rectangles on wooden floors.

Except we weren't in class right now. We should've been in class. But honestly, I enjoy being here than in those boring history lessons. What is there to learn from a King who died for a woman, who liked women?

I sat on one of the couches, teacup balanced in both hands. Warmth seeped into my palms.

Akeno stood next to me—closer than usual—radiating happiness. She smiled down at me with genuine contentment that made last night feel worth it. Her hand rested on the couch back near my shoulder, not quite touching but close enough to feel it's warmth.

Koneko sat across from me, destroying a cookie with focused intensity. The small white-haired girl had perfected the art of being physically present while giving zero shits about everyone else's drama. Her golden eyes tracked each bite with satisfaction.

Asia stood on my other side, hands clasped in front of her nervously. Her green eyes kept darting between Rias and the empty center of the room, clearly sensing tension but not understanding why.

Rias sat behind her desk in full King mode, fingers steepled in front of her face. Perfect composure. No acknowledgment of last night. Pure professionalism.

And Grayfia stood near Rias with perfect posture, hands folded, expression as if carved from ice.

She had been staring since I walked in fifteen minutes ago. I still could feel her soft fingers reaching for me and tracing along my chest. It was one of the best test of my little brother, who did his best not to intervene in that moment.

Those silver eyes tracked my every movement—accepting tea from Akeno, sipping it, breathing. Not hostile. Not friendly. Just observing.

This is so awkward I want to die.

I took another sip of tea, using it to avoid her stare.

Can't keep sitting here pretending everything's normal while Satan's wife stares at me like I'm some fascinating fellow.

"Buchou" I said, breaking the silence, knowing very well what the fuss about.

"Why are we here instead of class? Did something happen?"

Grayfia answered before Rias could speak, her voice perfectly composed and professional.

"Lady Rias's fiancé will be arriving in the human world shortly," she said with the efficient tone of someone delivering a formal announcement "The marriage between Lord Riser Phenex and Lady Rias Gremory requires discussion regarding its formalization."

There it is. Delivered with perfect maid professionalism—polite, efficient, completely neutral.

"Buchou has a fiancé?" Asia's voice was soft, confused.

I set my teacup down carefully and said "Rias-buchou was engaged with Riser Phenex, third son of the Phenex Clan, when she was young. It's a marriage between devils of two prominent devil families."

"Asia joined recently" I continued, glancing at Grayfia "She wouldn't have known about the engagement yet."

Asia's expression grew worried, her gentle nature showing through "Is she... unhappy about this?" she asked me quietly, looking at Rias with genuine concern.

Sweet Asia. Even when she doesn't fully understand devil politics, she's still worried about others.

"I won't marry him!"

Rias's voice cut through the room like a blade. Her hands slammed her desk, making her teacup rattle. Power crackled around her in barely visible red waves "I've made my decision clear. I refuse this engagement"

"I'll choose my own partner!"

The tension seemed to spike from the will radiating off our King. While other peerage members seemed to believe in her words, the silver haired maid simply sighed as if this was her 100th time hearing this proclamation.

But it was only short lived.

An orange magic circle blazed into existence in the center of the room. Bright orange with yellow accents with fire erupting from the circle.

Riser Phenex stepped through the flames.

Dramatic entrance much? Well, this is the only time I would say Rias and Riser compliment with each other. But that doesn't make me like this Third person self talking bastard.

Blonde hair artfully styled to look casual but definitely wasn't.

Burgundy blazer over white dress shirt, black pants tailored perfectly. Gold accessories everywhere—rings, chain at his neck—screaming wealth. Everything about him said "money, power, and total confidence in both."

His posture radiated pure arrogance. Shoulders back, chin up, one hand casually in his pocket like he just entered into a party, that he threw for others.

"Ah" Riser said, voice smooth and self-satisfied "It's been far too long since Riser came to the human world. Tch, The winds of human world are so..."

His red eyes swept across the room, taking each of us with dismissive assessment. Then his gaze landed on Rias, and his expression shifted into something that made my hands clench involuntarily.

He smirked wide as if he was the entitled husband of Rias, and

"Rias, my beloved," he spread his arms wide while enjoying Rias's displeasure.

"Riser has come for you at last"

Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this.

So much.
