The goblins awoke early and almost together. It seemed they were all much more disciplined during a war party. Kurt was not as much and had to be woken by one of them when everyone was basically already ready to go. They had given him a warm meal. And Kurt wasn't really there to argue, it was going to be a long day.
They started to approach the cliff and some of the wyvern had noticed them but hadn't attacked yet. They had given them little reason to. They were a little too big for their diet.
They didn't have much tree cover. However, there were some small patches. This would make it hard to hide, but also easier to reach a felled wyvern—a dangerous pairing.
"We have to find one we can capture and it will make a call for help," said Hank. "That's when things get interesting." Hank took out his kopesh smiling. "Chain lighting is going to come in handy today, it shouldn't kill them, most of them."
