Chapter 739 - A Bountiful Harvest

[Ding!]

[Congratulations, Host, on completing a fulfilling and eventful fourth year. Throughout this year, your experiences have been nothing short of extraordinary. Your academic abilities have steadily advanced, and you have become a legendary wizard whose mastery bridges both ancient and modern magic.]

[You have also applied your knowledge across every field imaginable. Your inventions and creations have gradually transformed the wizarding world, and your accomplishments are worthy of being recorded in history.]

[This year, you established the first quantifiable standard for measuring a wizard's strength, bringing order to what had long been a chaotic system. You promoted academic exchange between magical schools, founded two wizard-exclusive magical cities, and became a pivotal figure in ensuring the continuation of wizarding civilization.]

[Negative Win: You led your house to win the Hogwarts House Cup despite finishing with negative points, setting an unprecedented record in Hogwarts history. After your graduation, it is unlikely anyone will ever surpass this achievement.]

—[Calculating achievements... Calculation complete.]

[Continuous Mission: "The Greatest Student in Hogwarts History"]

[Phase Four Complete... Completion Rating: Epic (Achievement Bonus Applied)]

[Rewards: 5,000 Achievement Points, 25,000 Credits, one King-tier Gacha Draw.]

...

Tom's eyes widened.

Epic? He had always assumed Perfect was the highest possible completion rating.

Apparently, there was an even higher tier. And the rewards were incredible. The guaranteed draw had been upgraded all the way to the Wizard-King tier.

He reread the system's evaluation of his school year and quickly figured out why the reward had been pushed to another level.

The biggest reason was simple. His influence had expanded far beyond Hogwarts.

Well, that made perfect sense.

At first, a student's excellence could only be judged within the confines of their school. But that standard was inherently limited. Even if someone achieved absolute perfection on campus, their impact was still confined to the school itself.

What truly determined a school's reputation was what its graduates accomplished in the wider world.

It was no different from how people judged whether a university was prestigious. Wasn't it by looking at how many distinguished alumni it had, and how influential those alumni had become?

So once he'd reached the ceiling of what could be achieved inside Hogwarts, the greatest factor affecting his evaluation naturally became his reputation outside the school.

This semester, the Astra Abyssum Guild had accomplished quite a lot.

On top of that, the two major tournaments had dramatically increased the Guild's visibility and influence throughout the magical world.

With all those factors combined, it wasn't surprising he'd earned an Epic rating.

'I wonder... is there another rank above Epic?'

The rewards were already absurdly generous. And yet, Tom found himself wanting more.

After all, if there really was another tier above this... Wouldn't that mean a guaranteed God-tier gacha draw?

'Looks like I'll have to make an even bigger splash next semester.'

Having made up his mind, Tom turned to the rest of his rewards.

The mission "Wizarding History" had reached 85% completion. From this point onward, every additional ten percent granted another 500 Achievement Points.

His influence-related mission, "Creator of a New World," had also passed 70% and was steadily approaching 80%.

Altogether, mission rewards alone had netted him another four thousand Achievement Points, along with a pile of gacha tickets.

Most of the draws, however, had been fairly disappointing. Only one upgrade ticket for the Meditation Chamber was actually useful.

The rest were either small amounts of Achievement Points or miscellaneous items he had no real use for.

For example, he had drawn a Philosopher's Stone.

Other than feeding it to the Golden Apple Tree as fertilizer, Tom genuinely couldn't think of anything worthwhile to do with it.

There was still one more completed mission waiting to be claimed.

It was the one tied to the Inter-School Championship.

Technically, the reward had become available right after the awards ceremony.

Unfortunately, Herpo had appeared almost immediately afterward, and Tom had been so busy ever since that he'd never bothered collecting it.

[Congratulations, Host, on successfully hosting the Inter-School Championship. Although the other schools feared your talent and strength enough to bar you from competing personally, your influence was felt everywhere throughout the tournament.]

[Mission Rating: Perfect.]

[Rewards: 2,000 Achievement Points, one Legendary-tier Gacha Draw.]

Tom curled his lip.

How should he put it...

The school-year rewards had been so extravagant that this one barely registered. Besides, he'd already reached the Legendary level himself.

Drawing something of the same tier wouldn't help him much.

His only hope was for the gacha to trigger a jackpot instead of the guaranteed reward. That way, it might jump all the way up to the Wizard-King tier.

After admiring his status screen, Tom couldn't help but feel immensely satisfied.

Credits had long since become meaningless to him. He could spend them however he pleased without a second thought.

Achievement Points, meanwhile, had finally climbed past the ten-thousand mark through one method after another.

Back when he'd summoned Morgan, he'd only invested a little over seven thousand points, thanks to the first-time discount.

But now, without any discounts, the price had risen to ten thousand points. That was enough to guarantee the summoning of a Wizard King-level wizard. However, the more Achievement Points he invested, the stronger the summoned teacher would become.

Of course, there was still an element of randomness when he summoned Morgan. The Fairy Queen certainly wasn't among the weakest Wizard King-level powerhouses.

During her own era, she'd personally killed several opponents of the same rank.

The only reason she hadn't become one of history's most infamous dark witches was because Merlin had managed to keep her in check.

Otherwise, she would have terrorized the entire magical world.

To be honest, Tom wasn't eager to spend these fourteen thousand points just yet.

Twenty thousand felt like a better target before trying another summon.

As for someone approaching the level of a god... he'd probably need to invest over thirty thousand Achievement Points.

"These things are ridiculously hard to save..." Tom let out a long sigh.

He had already achieved financial freedom when it came to Credits.

Now the only question was when would he finally achieve the same freedom with Achievement Points?
