For difficult that it is to witness the Owl Gunner's move, it's undoubtedly the truth, as the attacker aims it's Magic Blunderbuss, obliviously answering why i fail to kill it.
The head was a bunch of feathers that resemble a fat owl face from afar, and it's not part of the main body, the real head being lower.
The Gunner's hooting intensifies with fierce trills, battling in hand-to-hand combat against Cadrissa and Farllette. Both displaying mastery in the use of their weapons, which is completely different from what i saw of the Alvzon when we were together in Trok'Gayian.
{So their over-relying on the Minions, is just a facade}.
I already knew it, but confirmation is for the best, especially since only my Minions are available in this passage.
Speaking about Minions. The caramel woman is incredibly fast, deforming her arms into sharp candy blades that dismember the Anthropoid Owls, doing so with great sadism, amputating the legs to see if the other Gunners will help the wounded. Which turned out to not be the case.
Likewise, the stack of hot pancakes may be slow as a turtle, but is sturdy and resilient like one, withstanding the physical and energetic attacks like a glorified premium punching bag.
Each impact received, segregates a cinnamon dust that intoxicates the attackers, putting them in a state of frenzied fury, lunging hostilely to whoever is around them.
However, this adorable bunch of pancakes is extremely evil. Every cut or puncture it suffers in it's breaded structure, causes squirts of boiling syrup.
To make the matter actually diabolical, the Minion squeeze itself, worsening it's injuries, sprouting gushes of syrup that gets sticky with the cold temperature in the environment.
Yet, the constraint of pressure can't last forever, and like a spring, the accumulated force is liberated in a jump, what reveals that under the adorable hittable face of the Minion, lies the base, where a large mouth of a sugary leech is hidden, though right now, the cavity is open, falling upon the wounded trapped Gunners, devouring them whole in a big gulp, even when they are still alive.
This action increases the Minion's size and restores it's shape, although the latter can be attributed to the Emts perimeter that Brenna established, teaching me that the feeling of freshness it is not only about restoring stamina, because accelerates our natural healing properties.
Panic grips among the Ambushers, their electric attacks are worthless to me, mostly focusing them to restraint Ennervette, because Cadrissa is highly resistant against the lightning strikes. Which is similar to the greatest threats in our lines, my Minions, as they are not too affected by the minor burns received due to Farllette occasionally using them as a cover.
Being aware of how powerful Ennervette is, i devise a way to help her out of her gruesome predicament.
Touching her back, i guide the electricity inside Ennervette's body to remain in the scales, tampering with its function, and causing the accumulated electrons to overload in a massive Electromagnetic Pulse, interrupting the electric flow of everything around a kilometer in any direction.
{I may not be able to execute a lot of magic on my own, but working with someone else, it's totally viable}.
With pain still cursing through her, Ennervette rage is bursting out with the heat released by her body, scorching the air around her solely by her mere presence.
Sprinting fiercely against the Gunner's, the danger posed by Farllette's Embryon is more than substantial, the Owls firing hastily their Blunderbusses, but the fireballs are only fuel for Ennervette, while the lightning bolts are not emitted, it doesn't matter how hard they try.
The Electromagnetic Pulse continues to interfere with any electric attack, preventing them from being used in the ongoing skirmish.
{I can't believe i managed to pull this off because of the knowledge i fetch in Fettiyio from the Terrorists}.
Due to neutralizing the most effective method to deal with Ennervette. The Carrion Owl Gunners want to retreat, because their melee prowess is completely outmatched by the sheer violence executed by Cadrissa and Farllette.
I am not holding back neither, the golden claws ripping apart the Ambushers with incredible ease. Bu still far from the brutal performance of the caramel woman and Ennervette herself.
This is notorious because the stack of hot pancakes is focused on having a feast with the corpses and dying enemies, rather than fighting.
Which is mostly reflected in it's inability to chase anyone, more so with the ongoing unstoppable growth of it's constant nourishment, becoming way clunky and sluggish on the already lethargic, snail like displacement it possess.
With the enemy formation turned into a wild scattered mess, my Summon relentlessly pursues the fleeing Gunners, executing a merciless bombardment on them, and encountering the exit path that can lead us to Trok'Gayian.
With most of the bodies voraciously gobbled up by the stack of hot pancakes, it is difficult to know how many casualties we inflict on the Carrion Owl Gunners before they were dispersed, returning to their world of origin.
With the conflict ended, we take a loot to the belongings of the loser's side, scavenging what seems useful, which is actually a lot, the Gunners having nomadic tribal customs, and the items in their Inventories or Storages, are expelled once they are dead.
I perceive Ennervette behind me, the soft touch of her dragon tail caressing my back, tickling my spine as she does a mewing growl, licking the border of my shoulder, going up to nibble roughly the border of my jaw.
Instinctively, i retort in kind, but prioritizing licks and pecks over the snow white skin of Ennervette.
She rapidly understands the preference i have, complying fervently, and starting a feral kiss out of her own volition.
"You really know how to show your gratitude and appreciation. The women of Loutharn could learn a thing or two from you". I say with an air of protest and expectation, since Cadrissa is once more peeping on me.
Though the obnoxious voice of Farllette echoes in the background, demanding we hurry up to gather food and leave this passage.
What makes Ennervette to growl with annoyance and disappoinment. She may not be able to talk, but her communication skills are top notch…
