Upon learning that Luo Feng had successfully awakened, Han Jue prepared to head to the extraterritorial battlefield.
However, it wouldn't be his main body making the journey, nor would it be the Star Stream Sea clone itself. Instead, he would send an energy avatar created by the Star Stream Sea clone using its [Split] innate ability. This energy avatar possessed the exact same capabilities as the Star Stream Sea clone, the only difference being that it lacked a soul, carrying only spiritual imprints. This meant there was no risk of it being captured and enslaved by powerful alien beings.
After all, many outsiders had their eyes on the Star Sea King.
Han Jue knew the Lord of Heavenly Wolf wouldn't let him go easily.
Using a soulless energy avatar, without any treasures except for the Seven-Colored Rainbow Light Sword, would still be enough to unleash power rivaling an invincible King-level warrior.
Han Jue piloted the Ice Wasteland spaceship toward the seventh battlefield of the extraterritorial zone.
He had two purposes for this journey.
First, he had promised Xu Xin to bring Luo Feng back safely. A promise must be kept.
Second, Han Jue wanted to see the Star Tower for himself, and perhaps even meet Sitting Mountain Guest.
With Luo Feng there, Sitting Mountain Guest shouldn't do anything hostile.
At this moment, Luo Feng was traveling through the Star Tower in a boat with Sitting Mountain Guest.
Sitting Mountain Guest explained various aspects of the Star Tower to Luo Feng, including the existence of two supreme treasures: the Calamity Armor and the Primal Soul. Luo Feng chose to take several General Souls from the Star Tower for his own use, and also prepared two for Han Jue.
Han Jue had already informed Luo Feng that he was coming to retrieve him.
Next, Sitting Mountain Guest gave Luo Feng a star map and revealed the locations of the remaining three fragments of the Nine Tribulations Secret Manual's Heavenly Soul Crystal.
Sitting Mountain Guest had placed those three fragments in dangerous regions throughout the universe, instructing Luo Feng to retrieve one at each of three cultivation stages: World Master level, Immortal level, and Universe Venerable level.
Afterward, Sitting Mountain Guest prepared to depart.
"Teacher," Luo Feng called softly.
Sitting Mountain Guest sighed.
With his abilities as the strongest being in the universe, he naturally knew that Han Jue had already arrived at the seventh battlefield, standing outside the Star Tower.
But he didn't really want to see Han Jue.
"Fine." Sitting Mountain Guest raised his hand, deciding to honor his disciple's request.
Outside, at the seventh battlefield, beyond the Star Tower.
"The Star Sea King is here! Run!"
Countless alien King-level Immortals were terrified by Han Jue's arrival.
What defined an invincible King-level Immortal? The ability to survive an encounter with a Universe Venerable.
And what were Han Jue's achievements? He had single-handedly killed a Universe Venerable!
The gap between invincible King-level Immortals could be astronomical.
Han Jue strolled leisurely through the void, watching the alien King-level Immortals flee in all directions with mild amusement. He made no move to attack them. Excessive killing would only attract the attention of powerful beings from other races, which wouldn't be beneficial.
In the eyes of other races, he could now be regarded as equivalent to a Universe Venerable. The appearance of a Universe Venerable on the extraterritorial battlefield was itself a violation of the unspoken rules. If Han Jue made a move, the Universe Venerables and Universe Lords of other races would also intervene.
If that happened, the extraterritorial battlefield wouldn't just descend into complete chaos, it might even trigger an all-out war between different races.
Han Jue couldn't bear such responsibility.
"Hmm?"
The surrounding space froze, as if the fundamental laws governing the universe had lost their effect. Han Jue felt time and space pause around him, and then he was pulled out of normal space and into a new dimensional pocket.
Here, on a boat over ten kilometers long, sat three figures: Luo Feng, Sitting Mountain Guest, and Puti.
"Han Jue?" Puti exclaimed in surprise.
He had always assumed his third junior brother and the leader of the Earth lineage would be Han Jue. After all, Han Jue's performance had been too dazzling, completely overshadowing Luo Feng's brilliance. It wasn't until Luo Feng came to inherit the Star Tower's legacy that he realized Luo Feng was the disciple Sitting Mountain Guest truly valued.
While Luo Feng earned the title of Blade River King and inherited the Star Tower, Han Jue remained relatively quiet, leading Puti to believe that Han Jue would fade into obscurity and that Luo Feng would become the true leader of the Earth lineage.
But then Han Jue caused a massive commotion again.
As a World Master, he had killed a Universe Venerable!
It was an earth-shattering achievement.
"Two unparalleled powerhouses will emerge from the Earth lineage!" Puti exclaimed with deep emotion.
"You must be Senior Sitting Mountain Guest?" Han Jue said confidently with a smile. "And this other senior?"
"Just call me Puti," Puti replied with a smile.
Sitting Mountain Guest scrutinized Han Jue carefully. Since Han Jue was merely an energy avatar, he couldn't discern much from it. If Han Jue's true self were here, he might be able to see something more.
For example, whether there was any involvement from other God-Kings.
"What brings you here?" Sitting Mountain Guest asked, looking down at Han Jue.
The energy avatar that Han Jue had created was only a hundred meters tall, minuscule compared to Sitting Mountain Guest's towering form.
"Senior Sitting Mountain Guest, I have always admired your existence," Han Jue said with a smile, showing no fear in the face of the strongest being in the universe. "Knowing that you are the founder of the Earth lineage only deepened that admiration. I hoped Luo Feng could become your disciple, but unfortunately, my aptitude is inferior to Luo Feng's, and I haven't been chosen by you as a student."
Sitting Mountain Guest scrutinized Han Jue again, feeling that this young man knew something and was subtly hinting at hidden knowledge.
"Luo Feng has already told me about the matter of leading the Earth lineage, and I don't have any objections to it," Han Jue said calmly. "I'm willing to relinquish the position of Earth lineage leader to Luo Feng."
"What are your conditions?" Sitting Mountain Guest asked.
"None," Han Jue shook his head.
"None?" Sitting Mountain Guest frowned.
Having no conditions was far more difficult to deal with than having conditions.
He did hope that Luo Feng would become the leader of the Earth lineage, but that wasn't a necessary requirement.
Strictly speaking, Han Jue was no longer of pure Earthling blood, he was only the nominal leader of Earth.
"Luo Feng and I are as close as brothers," Han Jue said calmly. "How can a mere position as Earth's leader compare to the bond between us? Don't you think so, Luo Feng?"
Hearing Han Jue's words, Luo Feng subconsciously nodded, then looked between Han Jue and Sitting Mountain Guest, unsure what to say.
Sitting Mountain Guest realized he couldn't fathom Han Jue's thoughts. Han Jue seemed to have many questions initially, but after actually meeting him, he simply relinquished the position of Earth's leader to Luo Feng without mentioning those questions.
Troublesome.
Sitting Mountain Guest sighed inwardly, then nodded slightly and said, "In the future, when you become a Universe Lord, I can help you forge a supreme treasure tailored to your specifications free of charge, but you'll need to provide the materials yourself."
"Thank you, Senior Sitting Mountain Guest!" Han Jue's eyes lit up.
Setting everything else aside, as someone who became a God-King through forging skills, the equipment crafted by Sitting Mountain Guest was unparalleled, even on the Origin Continent.
