Aldis bowed his head. He didn't show his sad face, but he felt slightly touched by the two teenagers from a lineage he greatly despised.
He couldn't stand hearing the crying of the two sniveling kids any longer, gritted his teeth, and said to Tsana. "Master, please do it."
Tsana stared at Aldis's back for a few seconds. "Are you sure you don't want to say a final word or two to them?"
Aldis didn't answer.
Just silence.
Tsana took that as a yes, and a faint green light shone from her palm above Aldis's head.
The process of release began.
Then, slowly, Aldis's body began to turn into dim brown lights, starting from his feet and rising up to his head.
Helena's and Rolan's sobs were still heard; they didn't dare to look at Aldis, afraid they would become even sadder.
Then suddenly, Aldis's voice was heard. "Hey brats, look at me."
Helena and Rolan didn't move; they still kept their heads bowed.
Then Aldis was heard again. "Listen well..."
