Chapter 5 - St. Helena Sound

The battle on Port Royal was already under commence when Phuture was transmigrated.

Celie and Terrance were both slaves helping The Union from the inside with information, assisting The Union to a path of victory.

They both were captured by the enemy and executed before they could reach The Union forces, awaking as transmigrations of Divine Gods from another world.

The spirits of both Divine Gods were weakened, but gradually proceeded to healing slowly. They assumed their souls had been damaged in battle and during the transmigration, but they were unsure of the true reason behind their souls.

After their much needed conversation about their true identities, Terrance awaited outside the tent for his sister to finish her workout routine.

Celie restarted her situps although she had nearly finished the five sets of one-hundred before she was interrupted. She stretched again when she finished then invited her brother for a jog, running for miles in circles around their base until she finally conceded to finishing.

By the time they finished their workout, the platoon was gathering to push forward on their mission. Dark clouds were in the skies covering up the bright sun, signaling a storm was upon them soon.

The Union Greenland Army and Navy Forces contained a total over twelve thousand troops, while the enemy in Port Royal only contained about three thousand. There was four times more on the Union side than their enemy, and the odds were heavily in their favor.

The forces made their way to the battlefields, with Celie staying at her brother's side as they came closer to the warfare.

The Army battled on the ground to secure the shoreline, while the Naval Forces pinned them down heavily from the waters at their rear.

They were royally screwed and didn't stand a chance, allowing The Army to proceed forward when they began to retreat.

Phuture sprinted ahead to join the battlegrounds, losing patience of the steady casual army pace. She pointed towards one of the humongous ships ahead, rushing to catch up before it sailed away further.

"Are you really trying to board that ship?" Terrance held his rifle while sprinting alongside her, keeping up to make sure she was no longer alone.

"Hell yeah!" Phuture yelled out, turning to see she was leaving her platoon. "We can tell whoever's driving that thing to take us!"

"Pocahontas!"

"What?"

"The ship!" Terrance shouted, the two of them conversing through war cry of ships firing cannons. "Her name is Pocahontas!"

Terrance and Celie rushed ahead to join the Union Naval forces aboard Pocahontas, decicing to fight alongside them on their way north to St. Helena Sound.

Celie approached an officer aboard the ship, she asked. "We are going north?"

"Yes! We're running late but Captain Drayton is ready for sail!"

The Naval fleet and Army expedition conquered Port Royal, and they were currently sailing north to finish the job on their last day of battling.

November 7th. The date Phuture and her husband Dark were transmigrated into slave siblings, Celie and Terrance Ward.

The date that Union Forces finished their conquest of Port Royal, and Celie was on board Pocahontas with Captain Drayton's naval unit.

Fort Walker and Fort Beauregard were both taken down by the Union, with the assistance of Drayton's Pocahontas.

A storm rained down on Captain Drayton's unit, forcing Pocahontas to halt before proceeding forward where General Thomas Drayton's Conferderacy Forced were retreating.

The battle of Drayton brothers on Port Royal ended with an American victory, after Pocahontas continued forward to reach St. Helena Sound.

General Drayton had already evacuated and left someone else in charge of his unit, who were now also on the retreat from Union Naval Forces. A Navy that his brother Captain Drayton represented.

On the shoreline there was few dead but many wounded men were left behind on the enemy side.

Amongst the retreating were a group of slaves, men that were forced to fight against the ones who wanted them free. They were all lined up with the other soldiers that forced them to participate in this battle.

Phuture rushed towards the men to set them free, catching the attention of many Union soldiers.

Terrance and Celie both defended the enslaved soldier, standing over them with their arms stretched out when soldiers confronted them. The soldiers held their guns towards them, but General Wright called out to the army soldiers.

Celie had caused another scene, bringing a crowd of navy blue coats around them immediately. Three rifles were pointed towards her, but she held her ground and defended the slaves.

"Let's lower our weapons!" General Wright called out. "There's no need for that, remember what we are fighting for!"

General Wright approached Celie and Terrance with laughter, grabbing them both by the shoulder to pull them in for a hug.

"I thought you ran off and got killed somewhere! I'm happy to see the two of you are doing well!" General Wright examined the aftermath of war around them. "Remember this day, November 7th, The Battle of Port Royal is victorious!"

The Union soldiers cheered together and celebrated victory, but still planned on marching forward into the town.

We've finally made it to St. Helena Sound, and the beach is beautiful and all but we need to find Celie's family! The Oaks!

"Thank you General Wright! I'm gonna go free more slaves!" Phuture shouted. "I need to find my family!"

General Wright ordered soldiers from his platoon to follow along Celie and Terrance, who made their way to freeing thousands of slaves on the island.

They came across multiple plantations with The Union to liberate hundreds of slaves in each location. They'd finally reaching Frogmore Plantation where Phuture would be shocked to see a building that seemed like a school for formerly enslaved black people.

Terrance explained. "This must be the plantation! Terrance and Celie helped with development and building of this school. They use it for undercover educational purposes, but it's not formally open yet."

No wonder they wanted Celie and Terrance dead so badly, they were both bright minded young adults with proactive plans to help their community thrive.

Union soldiers approached the school's front dooe behind Celie and Terrance, but a young lady would open the door first to take a look outside.

The young lady shouted and came dashing towards Celie and Terrance, then Terrance glanced towards Celie.

"Our baby sister." Terrance reminded Celie, knowing she had no remembrance of Celie's life story. "Willie Lou."

Willie Lou hugged both her siblings in excitement, and the troops proceeded forward to free other slaves sheltering inside the school.

"Mom...she's..." Willie Lou said. "Our mom is gone...they killed her for letting you two escape."
