Chapter 1 - ch1:The midnight

It was midnight again. Looking back she used to love midnight's her parents would surprise her for her birthday every midnight but what was the point of thinking about it now her parents were no more she was left alone in a place that could no longer be called home. She turned back and saw the aoki mansion it was big glamorous old like a castle that weighed down her responsibilities. Her parents were buried in the cemetery of the aoki family. It was nearby to her house. Violet returned to that place knowing that it might destroy her 13 year old mind, but she had no other options.

"Are you back" her aunt asked.

"Yes"she replied , her aunt gently sat down and wiped her tears.

"Violet"she said. "It is alright dear, I am there for you".

I lifted my eyes she had a soft gaze one with concern and warmth.

I politely spoke. "Thank you".

She smiled at me and nodded. Simply letting me go back to my room.

I lay down on the bed staring at the midnight black ceiling which was glittering. I knew I had to take over the aoki group somehow that is the only way I would survive in this wrecked place.

Steve aoki the current chairman of the aoki group had two children a girl and a son my uncle. My mom was a fearless woman she wanted to take over the company, only to return dead. But Steve aoki ,never had planned to give his company to one of his children he doted more in his grandchildren. My uncle had a son named jaden he was my competitor ever since childhood we were to fight for the best the one who loses gets nothing. But now I had just lost my parents my greasrest support system. I was drowned in thoughts in pain.

As I fell asleep I remembered my mother saying not to trust anyone here.

Violet suddenly woke up. It was a dream, the dream of her parents death day. Even now she never understood why her aunt looked at her with those eyes.

Getting up from her bed she went into her bathroom for a quick shower. She looked at herself in the mirror after getting dressed she was wearing a pink floral gown it wasn't a full length one just a little below her knee. She styled her beautiful white hair that took the shade of the moon, well there wasn't much to style as she had short and hair. She left her house after locking her doors.

Now she neither goes by Violet or aoki. She goes by Vivian her last name never reaveled.

"Hello Vivian darling are going to the bakery already" a lady with sweet yet a little high pitched voice asked.

"Yes mrs.joe" Violet said warmly with a slight smile on her face. Mrs.joe was her neighbor.

"Your such a hard working girl just opposite to mine" she said.

"Please don't say that" Vivian said very politely.

"Oh come on darling don't overlook the compliment" she continued. "Please bring to loafs of bread back when you're come home darling" she added.

I nodded my head and left to the bakery. Yeah I own a bakery in a small town in Switzerland. You might be wondering young violet how?why? Violet what happened.

What about our ambition?

She thought to herself as she looked up at the very blue and bright sky.
