Hearing Callum's true story, Edith was stunned as she stared at Yvette, who was becoming increasingly frantic at being betrayed by someone she trusted most. Yvette picked up a flower vase and threw it to the floor. Callum quickly stood in front of his fiancée to act as a shield. He spread his arms wide to prevent the glass shards from hitting her. When Yvette was about to throw another flower vase, Callum immediately stopped her and put the vase back on the table.
"Are you crazy?!" Callum screamed.
"Yes, I'm really going crazy right now because no one's defending me. All this time, the only ones who've defended me have been my family."
"You better give up before it's too late."
Yvette laughed maniacally, glaring at her enemy. "No wonder my mother doesn't approve of your marriage. You're the type of man who likes to betray."
"You're wrong, Yvette! Our marriage wasn't approved so I couldn't live happily," Edith argued firmly.
