Yvette smiled brightly as she watched Callum swing his golf club with a flourish. Mark's question actually offended her, as it wasn't that she didn't want to be with Callum. However, Callum's constant distancing from her angered her. All this time, she could only enjoy the beautiful scenery from afar whenever Callum was with Edith. She was fed up with playing the role of a third party to the couple.
"Mark, wasn't the purpose of today's meeting because you were curious about King's Hotel?" Callum deliberately changed the subject so that Yvette wouldn't take things any further.
Mark nodded, folding his arms. "Right. You really are a professional, Callum. Even though it's a holiday, you still maintain your professional demeanor, just like everyone says."
