Ch 0 - The solarant awakening

The evening sun hung low over the rooftops, melting into the horizon like liquid gold.

Footsteps echoed along the cracked pavement as a boy dragged his bag down the narrow lane. His school uniform was wrinkled, his tie loose, his expression dull.

He pushed open the creaky door of a small, dim apartment. Books and broken gadgets were scattered everywhere — a chaos that mirrored his mind.

Dropping his bag on the floor, he collapsed onto the bed and stared at the ceiling.

> "I hate my life," he muttered, voice flat but heavy — as if the words had been waiting for years to escape.

The fan above him turned lazily, humming a lifeless tune. The boy — Rayen — closed his eyes, unaware that the world he hated was about to change forever.

Far away, hidden deep within a restricted valley, stood a colossal research complex — the Helios Headquarters.

At its heart burned an artificial white sun, small yet impossibly bright, contained within a maze of metallic rings spinning in perfect harmony. The ground trembled faintly as its energy pulsed through massive cables buried beneath the earth.

Inside the main control chamber, scientists in sleek suits hovered around glowing consoles. Numbers danced on transparent screens; energy readings spiked every second.

> "Stabilizer rings holding at eighty-seven percent," a scientist shouted.

"Increase plasma containment!" another replied.

"We're nearing the Solar Limit — this is it!"

Amid the chaos stood a hooded figure, face hidden in the flickering light. Their gloved hand hovered over a massive lever marked "SOLAR DRIVE – DO NOT ENGAGE."

The lead scientist turned, eyes wide.

> "Wait! The core isn't ready—!"

Too late.

The hooded figure pulled the lever.

For a heartbeat, everything went silent.

Then — light.

A blast of pure white energy erupted from the miniature sun, tearing through the rings, through the building — through the sky itself.

The explosion bloomed like a second sunrise, visible even from orbit.

The Solar Blast had begun.

When the light reached across the planet, everything changed. Oceans boiled, skies burned, and continents cracked.

The blue Earth turned red — its lands barren, its mountains sharp like teeth. Water became a treasure; sunlight, both a blessing and a curse.

But the energy didn't just destroy — it transformed.

Some survivors absorbed fragments of Solar Energy, awakening powers beyond human understanding.

Once broken minds found balance in the light. They built kingdoms of order under the scorching sun, yet struggled to control the full force within them — they were called Stables.

Those who were once sane turned wild and powerful, consumed by Solar madness. They ruled the wastelands, driven by chaos and hunger — the Unstables.

And the powerless, Normals, survived beneath the surface — in tunnels, ruins, and shadows, relying on wit, stealth, and fragile alliances.

And somewhere in that dying world, a boy named Rayen, who once whispered that he hated his life, would soon discover that the very thing he despised…

was about to make him the key to humanity's next dawn.
