"How do you intend to make me answer your question, Marcus?" Anthonio's gaze flickered away uncomfortably. Heat flooded his face, as he looked through his window, and was filled with shame. He was proud. First to admit he's been a hypocrite, that he had no right to treat Sonia and Lucas the way he did, but admiting his wrong to his Grandson, and looking vulnerable to him, at this time, was something he wasn't prepared for.
Marcus felt a chill of disgust.
"I slept with your daughter, Anthonio. That's why you should answer me." Marcus blurted in fury.
"You were crass and very opinionated then Marcus. You had no control over your desires, so long as you wanted something, you got. It didn't matter you it was, did it never occur to you she was older than you?"
Anthonio's words were mean, and he knew it. It wasn't what he was supposed to say, and clearly not the answer Marcus was looking for. He had little left to protect.
BlueBird wasn't his.
