If Naruto lost his ability to fight, Team 7's situation could be described as being completely at the mercy of their enemies.
Kakashi Hatake, holding a kunai, stared at the orange figure lying on the ground. "Naruto, are you okay?" he asked repeatedly.
"Damn it!"
Sasuke Uchiha's eyes widened, feeling as if they might burst. Self-blame flooded his heart.
That guy did it to save me and Kakashi...

Sasuke looked at the still, unmoving Naruto. Amidst the intense emotional turmoil, the black tomoe in his left eye slowly shifted. A third tomoe appeared, completing his Sharingan.
His first three-tomoe Sharingan. In the future, he vowed, I will never drag down my teammates again!
When Sasuke slowly raised his head, his three-tomoe Sharingan scanned the enemies before him. Their movements seemed to unfold in slow motion.
He turned sideways and swung his kunai.
A spray of blood flew through the air. A Root ninja looked at Sasuke in disbelief, clutching his throat. He tried to do something, but fell powerlessly to the ground.
"He's already awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan?" Danzo Shimura glanced at Sasuke and calmly shook his head. Holding his ninja sword in a reverse grip, he walked toward the fallen Naruto. "What an enviable kekkei genkai. But compared to two of my former subordinates, it's still far too lacking."
"You bastard!"
The young Uchiha shot up from the ground. Shuriken flew rapidly toward Danzo as Sasuke's hands quickly formed seals. With his fingers by his mouth, he shouted, "Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson!"
Shuriken wrapped in flames sped toward Danzo. Even if Sasuke didn't know Naruto's condition, he knew he had to stop the old man.
Danzo just quietly formed his own hand seals, took a deep breath, and spat it out. "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"
A hurricane instantly blew away the incoming fireballs.
Just as he was about to turn back toward Naruto, the surrounding Root ninjas shouted a warning.
"Lord Danzo, watch out for the enemy in front!"
A young palm pressed against Danzo's chest. A cyclone of chakra gathered in its center. Naruto Uzumaki raised his head and growled, "Spiral... Shockwave!"
The surging chakra bloomed with a burst of light, piercing through Danzo's chest and abdomen and leaving a large hole in his body.
Danzo looked at the wound in disbelief. With a hint of astonishment, he glanced at Naruto, then powerlessly closed his eyes. "I really underestimated you... Naruto Uzumaki."
"Just learning from you," Naruto said, shaking his head. He reached out and pushed Danzo's corpse to the ground. "With so many people protecting you, it's not easy to get a chance to take you down."
Danzo's death caused an immediate uproar. However, a bigger problem now lay before them. With Danzo dead, what would the Root ninjas he controlled do? Should they follow his last orders and kill Team 7, becoming rogue ninja of Konoha? Or should they retreat and await the village's judgment?
A few Root ninjas who truly believed in Danzo's philosophy rushed forward for revenge, but the others stood stunned, looking at each other.
Kakashi instantly understood the situation and spoke up, hoping to win over the remaining enemies. "If you retreat now, I will explain to the Third Hokage that all of this was due to Danzo Shimura's personal..."
"Kakashi, it seems we are the same kind of people..."
On the ground, Danzo Shimura's corpse slowly turned to nothingness, and the old, cold voice once again filled the air. "Trying to win over my subordinates before my death is even confirmed... Aren't you a bit naive?"
"Lord Danzo?"
"Lord Danzo is still alive?"
"The cursed seal in our mouths is still here..." A group of Root ninjas touched their jaws. The Cursed Tongue Eradication Seal Danzo used to control them was still active, confirming he was, indeed, still alive.
"How is that possible?" Naruto looked in surprise at the empty ground. Danzo's corpse was gone, without even a trace of blood left behind.
As the one who cast the jutsu, Naruto was certain his Spiral Shockwave had hit its mark. There was absolutely no way Danzo could have survived. He was clearly dead; his corpse had fallen to the ground.
Kakashi had also been watching the fight. The moment Naruto killed him, Kakashi's experience told him it was definitely not a genjutsu. Could a genjutsu fool even death?
What unknown jutsu was that? To die and be reborn?
Team 7's jonin leader couldn't continue his thoughts. The other Root ninjas, recovering from the shock, launched an even fiercer attack on him.
Naruto stood frozen in place, feeling a rough palm land on his forehead. It felt like a piece of tree bark rubbing against his skin. A warm stream of chakra began to move on his forehead, and then, like flowing water, it quickly enveloped his entire body.
When Naruto tried to look up, he found his body was out of his control. He couldn't turn his neck or even move his fingers.
"Ninjutsu: Self-Cursing Seal of Binding..."
Danzo's voice was unusually calm, as if nothing had just happened. His body gradually materialized as he looked at the young genin before him. "Naruto Uzumaki, a truly talented ninja, without a doubt. Your value is beyond my imagination."
"Your body holds immeasurable potential. Only I can help you excavate that power, but great power must ultimately be contained within the rules. That long-cherished jutsu... perhaps today, on you, it can find its home."
After speaking, Danzo slowly began to remove the bandages from his face. He wasn't worried that someone would interfere, nor was he worried that Naruto would break free. The Self-Cursing Seal he used could control an enemy's movements through the chakra in the seal. The only way out was for Naruto to unleash the power of the Nine-Tails.
However, the Root sealing squad had already arrived and set up a formation around Naruto specifically designed for jinchuriki.
Everything, it seemed, was foolproof.
"Sealing Jutsu: Devour!"
The chakra of the Self-Cursing Seal was completely swallowed by Naruto's body. His freedom of movement was instantly restored, and chakra once again surged violently within him.
Naruto raised his arm, and a ring of condensed chakra swirled around his hand. He said coldly, "If I can't kill you once, I'll kill you a second time. If a second time doesn't work, then a third!"
He suddenly clenched his fist.
The chakra ring shattered and wrapped around it.
Naruto twisted his body and slammed a punch into Danzo's abdomen. The chakra on his fist converged with his strength and suddenly exploded. "Spiral Punch!"
Bang! The power enhanced by the chakra was immense.
The one-eyed old man's entire upper body was blasted to pieces by the Spiral Punch.
