Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 The Guild's New Favorite

The mages in the Guild heard the news and gathered around, discussing it curiously.

"Can we ride him now?" Natsu's eyes blazed with excitement.

"Of course, it's two Jewel per person, and Happy gets half price!" Ezreal quickly replied, feeling like his business was about to take off, even offering a small discount.

"Happy, let's go!"

"Aye!"

Natsu pulled three Jewel from his pocket and stuffed them into Ezreal's hand, being the first to leap onto the wolf's back. He chose the large Shadow Wolf and gripped its neck tightly, shouting excitedly, "Let's go, big guy!"

Happy took a running jump and landed next to Natsu, his small paws clutching Natsu's scarf. Though a little scared, he seemed more excited.

The Shadow Wolf seemed to sense its rider's enthusiasm, pushing off with its four legs and shooting forward like an arrow from a bowstring.

Ezreal mentally commanded the Shadow Wolf not to damage Guild facilities, so the Shadow Wolf took Natsu and Happy directly out the back door of the Guild, heading straight for Fairy Tail Lake behind it.

Although the Shadow Wolf was fast, its four legs ran very steadily. After running two laps on the grass with Natsu and Happy, it charged directly towards Fairy Tail Lake.

Amidst the laughter and shouts of one person and one cat, a faint light glowed on the Shadow Wolf's feet, and it ran directly on the water's surface, kicking up a series of splashes.

"Oh? No magic, but it knows how to use magic power crudely?" Ezreal was also a bit surprised to see the Shadow Wolf galloping across the lake with Natsu and Happy.

The Shadow Wolf had magic power within it, but it didn't have any innate magic. It couldn't breathe fireballs, water, or wind, but it could use basic magic power to cover its body and reduce its weight.

Natsu and Happy's laughter echoed from behind the Guild. His hair was disheveled by the wind, and a lot of lake water splashed on him, but the smile on his face was incredibly bright.

Happy, both nervous and Happy, clung tightly to Natsu's scarf, hanging on the cherry-haired boy's back. He disliked getting his fur wet.

Gray watched Natsu's retreating figure, a smile playing on his lips: "Looks fun, I'll give it a try too."

"That'll be two Jewel, please." Ezreal earned another two Jewel from Gray.

Gray flipped onto the wolf, gently patting its massive head: "Let's go, big guy."

Unlike Natsu's wildness, Gray, though excited, looked almost elegant riding the Shadow Wolf, if one ignored his bare chest and the jacket on the ground.

The small Shadow Wolf carried him, chasing after Natsu and Happy.

Mira watched from the side, her eyes sparkling with excitement: "It looks really fun, Ezreal, can I try?"

Her voice held a hint of uncertainty, but more, it was anticipation.

"Of course, no problem, but you'll have to wait for one of them to return. The one I'm riding is the 'advertisement wolf,' I still need him to attract customers." Ezreal smiled and nodded.

Actually, he had another group of Shadow Wolves, but he considered it and decided to observe everyone's interest first. If there were too many, everyone would get to play quickly, and the enthusiasm would also wane quickly.

No sooner had he spoken than the Natsu and Happy group, whose two minutes were up, were brought back to the Guild hall by the large Shadow Wolf.

"I want to play more, Ezreal, Happy and I will buy another ten minutes!" Natsu and Happy didn't jump off but excitedly asked for more time.

"Hold on, hold on, let everyone else experience it first. Mira is already waiting." Ezreal smiled and nudged Mira, and the white-haired beauty also showed a timely expression of eager anticipation.

"Alright~" Natsu and Happy immediately jumped off the Shadow Wolf, looking dejected.

"Thanks for your support!" Very gentlemanly, Ezreal took Mira's two Jewel and specifically had the Shadow Wolf lie down to make it easier for Mira to get on.

Mira carefully climbed onto the wolf's back, nervously gripping the Shadow Wolf's fur.

"Please sit tight and hold on to the handrails, Wolf Rider One is about to start!" Ezreal now pretended to be a bus announcement voice actor.

"Whoosh!"

The Shadow Wolf pushed off with its four legs, carrying Mira like the wind towards the back door, running in a straight line to the lake and beginning its water-walking performance.

The tension on Mira's face gradually gave way to pleasant surprise: "Wow, this feels amazing!"

Marcus watched the others riding, eager to try, and very consciously lined up behind Natsu and Happy: "Let a good friend support your new business!"

Soon, Gray was also sent back by another Shadow Wolf. Natsu and Happy impatiently paid to ride the Shadow Wolf again and ran towards the lake.

After Mira's Shadow Wolf returned, Marcus rode it, chasing Natsu and Happy who were galloping and drifting on the lake.

Ezreal simply took an empty wine barrel from the counter and placed it at the back door as a collection box. The Shadow Wolves would return and stop directly in the back, not entering the Guild hall.

Everyone who paid lined up and waited. Some who couldn't wait paid directly and rode with others.

Anyway, the Shadow Wolf's body was large enough; even Elfman's large physique could fit two people on its back.

Mira stood by, watching everyone have so much fun, a hint of cunning flashing in her eyes.

She walked over to Ezreal, smiling, and said, "Ezreal, it seems your little project is really popular."

"It looks pretty good. But the novelty will soon wear off." Although Ezreal was Happy, he knew that the Wolf Cavalry project couldn't rely solely on people playing for fun.

Novelty always fades; to make money long-term, it still needs practicality.

"Your Shadow Wolf, that's its name, right? Is this big guy intelligent, can he remember routes on his own? If he can, you could totally open up a few routes, like from the Guild to Nora's clothing store, or to the pastry shop or something." Mira gave her advice very seriously, though her true intentions seemed obvious.

"It doesn't matter if he's not smart enough to remember routes. I can ask Levy to help use Solid Script Magic to write some route maps into the Shadow Wolf's brain; that would work too."

"Is Levy's magic that useful? It sounds like very convenient magic." Ezreal was surprised. He hadn't seen that flat-chested, blue-haired, glasses-wearing girl in the anime be that amazing. So, in reality, she was a very useful functional character!

"Of course. I feel like you're thinking something very rude. Levy's magic isn't just practical; she also knows a lot of things. Although she's a bit young, she's the most knowledgeable person after the Master." Mira seriously explained Levy's details.

"I'm not, I didn't." Ezreal quickly waved his hand.

"No need to trouble Levy. The Shadow Wolf's intelligence is decent, and I can use the auxiliary magic 'Consciousness Attachment' recorded in Dimensional Summoning to share vision with it, and also transmit information to it through consciousness." Ezreal didn't want to trouble others.

He had only seen Levy once these past two days. Her two love-struck, fawning bodyguards, Troy and Jet, were always there, guarding against him, the 'little blondie,' like a thief, which meant he hadn't really gotten to say much to Levy.

"I'll let the Shadow Wolf walk around the common places in Magnolia City, and with Consciousness Attachment, I can easily remember the route map with my memory. Then, by transmitting memory information through consciousness, the Shadow Wolf will completely remember the places it has walked."

Dimensional Summoning, as an ancient magic, besides the main spatial gate opening method, also recorded many highly practical auxiliary magics for use in conjunction with Summoned Beasts.

Consciousness Attachment, Magic Power Amplification, Life Soothing, and so on.

"It looks like you already have a plan. It's rare to have someone with business acumen in the Guild." Mira didn't stint on praise.

"Just average, better than the others in the Guild."

Compared to this bunch of brutes in the Guild, he felt he definitely had a knack for making money. At least in the few days he'd been in Magnolia, he had already discovered a few small business opportunities.

"Hey, hey, hey, future big businessman, can you first open routes to the clothing store, dessert shop, and jewelry store?" Mira gave a playful smile.

"Of course, no problem. Consider it repayment for you treating me to drinks."
