"Cat got your tongue?" Addy asked, Zoe went dead quite after her comment of being alone, she didn't think it was for that long. Zoe didn't answer still, she actually had something else in mind, or more something she was curious about. Zoe stood up and looked at Addy, she raised an eyebrow.
"What's behind the closed door? Secret sex room?" Zoe made a b-line for the room before Addy could even move to grab her, but the door was locked, even if she was quick to make it to the door. Addison ran after her but stopped halfway when she remembers this is her house, she knows when something is locked or not.
"Behind that door is off limits. Especially to you."
"So, it is a secret sex room! Are you Christiaan Grey?" Zoe said like an excited puppy. Addy again rolled her eyes, she feels like this is going to be a constant response to her.
"No, this this is my office, I have important stuff in there and I don't need you to go through anything."
"I don't believe you."
"Don't care, not letting you in."
"So it is a sex room."
"Zoe, stop being a brat please. If you act like one, I will treat you like one." Addy has delt with girls like Zoe, seems like there is something different with them but in the end is just someone who wants everything their way. Zoe looked Addy up and down, she thought to herself that she hides her body under the clothes she wears, lean figure, she didn't want to stare longer, she did want to get into the room.
"Please?"
"NO!" Addy moved away from the door and went to get something to drink, she heard Zoe follow her. Getting to her refrigerator, getting water, she heard the younger woman hop onto the counter, this made her slam to door shut.
"Really making yourself comfortable hey." Zoe smiled, Addy just shook her head.
"Can I ask something?"
"If you must."
"How can you afford this place? A secret sex room and a built-in coffee machine?" Addy looked at Zoe with an expression of, 'really?'.
"I work in business, I made COO last year and Gabe works in law and he is also a lawyer for some people in that business, why not put two and two together?" She asked
"Gabe has many friends and they all do different things, how was I supposed to guess?" She made a valid point, first of the night. Addy leaned against the other counter top, she stared at the young woman, she thought how strange she is, she has a past and it seems to have made her into, whatever she is. Addy had her questions she wanted to ask but she needed to get to know her a bit better to ask the type of questions she wants to ask.
"True. Now I have a question, why do you think Blair and Gabe wanted us to meet?"
"Maybe they thought we have common interests or would fit each other? Blair has been on a mission to get me a date that would result in a second date but I've never been one a second date, maybe she had hopes for you, don't know why." Addison rolled her eyes.
"Get to know me then you will see I'm not half bad."
"Sure. I didn't know that us going to the party meant that I was going to meet someone." Zoe explained
"I should have thought harder on why Gabe was so pushy about me going out tonight, he thinks I don't get out a lot but when I do get out, it is to the same places and I do the same thing." Zoe smiled, Blair said the same thing to her on the way to the party tonight.
"If it makes a difference, Blair said the same thing. Half the time I think she wants me to get a girlfriend, lose my virginity and move out so she doesn't have to sit with me after more failed dates…" Addy looked at the younger woman as she started to look smaller as she spoke about herself, no bratty persona, just talking, Addy thought to make light of this.
"Well, If I were in charge of your dates, I would pick the person who is fit for you, that way you will get a second date and a third and so on." Addison wasn't lying, she helps out most of the people at work get dates and in college did the same.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I read people fairly well. So, I believe I'd be better than Blair." That was when a sudden idea pooped into Zoes head.
"Well then why don't you?" Addy pulled a confused face.
"What?"
"Why don't you pick the dates? That way I might get a girlfriend-

"I won't just sleep with them on the first date, it'll take at least 7 dates or more." Addison stared.
"Pre-pare to never lose your virginity. And besides, why would I help you?"
"Because you get to choose the people and I know you will have a laugh. I can't know who it is until the actual date, then afterwards, depending on if we agree to meet up again, then I come back here and tell you what happened." Addy thought about it, it would be fun for her to make a fool out of this young girl, but there feels like there is something more hanging on the back.
"What is in it for you? Other than possibly getting laid."
"A friend? I get to also help you-
"I am happy alone thanks and like my lifestyle. I could help you out sure-
"I am not talking about getting you a girlfriend, I am talking about getting you out the house and making friends and having a life outside of work, if Gabe is like Blair, then I know he tries just as hard to get you out, me being your friend would mean we could go out a lot but with Gabe and Blair, and maybe somehow change the fact you are so comfortable in this 'lifestyle' you mention." Addy shook her head, the younger girl didn't know what lifestyle she had.
"I am not doing that, anything to do with Blair is a no."
"Come on, you won't see her that much because we will be hanging out more-
"And why would I do that? I would only help you get like 2 dates at best-
"No, this would be a yearlong thing." Addys eyes went as wide as sources, a year?!
"What on earth are we going to be doing that would need us to be friends for a year?!" She said
"We don't know each other, so we would need to hang out at least every odd day together to get to know one another, then we can help each other out, once we know a bit."
"I have a full-time job Zoe, I can't just be at your beck and call whenever you feel like hanging out. I value my weekends." Addison was trying to get out of this idea Zoe was thinking about, she didn't want to see this girl for everyday for a year, 'I think I am going to actively kill myself if she continues' she thought.
"I work too, weekends would be just to get to know each other and you can work on who to set me up with and I can help get you out. A year would be more than enough time, and plus, if this whole thing fails, I'm still a lonely virgin and you're still a stubborn hermit, then we never have to contact each other or see each other ever again after the year is up!" Ok now the plan didn't sound too bad, still, this was a stupid thing to agree with.
"Anything else?" Addy could sense there must be more.
"Nothing, we help each other, however that may be." Zoe smiled, and Addy had an idea, she pushed herself away from the counter and slowly walked up to Zoe, she was still sitting with her legs hanging off the counter top, Zoe frowned at her movement, Addy smirked, placing her hands on the younger women's knees, sliding her hands up her thighs and back down, then parting her legs to be right in her face, Zoe blushed at the closeness. She hasn't had a woman this close to her, or touch her like that, Addy looked her up and down, her eyes lingering on her lips then back to her eyes, she moved her head to whisper.
"Help each other out? With anything? And you mean anything?" Addy whispered seductively into the younger women's ear, she then moved her hand back up Zoes thigh and higher, this caused Zoe to jump. She put her hands on the older woman's shoulders and pushed her back, as attractive as this was, she didn't want it. Addsion chuckled, and moved back away from the girl.
"Take this seriously."
"I am. This year will be fun for me, a bit. But we are making a contract, if I am going to have to be bothered by you for a year, we can make some sort of agreement." Addy moved to fetched her phone from the couch and came back, she was typing away.
"What are we going to agree on?"
"10 do and 10 don'ts. Basically, we have 10 things we are allowed to do and can do whenever we want, no matter. And 10 things we cannot do, no matter what, if we break one of those ten then the year thing ends on the spot. We can both come up with the terms. Deal?" Zoe saw the business woman part of her come out now.
"Sure." Addy was already typing on her phone the terms and the signing part, she would send this to her office to print in a minute.
"OK, you can start." Addy said, looking up from her phone.
Addison and Zoes yearlong contract
This here by states that the following members, Addison Marlowe, and Zoe Cardwell, agree to the following terms and conditions stating the dos and don'ts of their yearlong agreement to help on another attain their needed goals
The following are the don'ts of the agreement:
Zoe cannot go into Addisons office, unless it is an emergency People that Addison sets Zoe up with on future dates, cannot, be past lovers or hook ups of Addison, they must be fairly new to Addison and unknown to Zoe No one can be connected to Blair, or Allison. Zoe and Addison are allowed to show up to one another's apartment's, either it be for an emergency or just because. But have to state why, never can just show up unannounced. Blair can't give input on dates unless both parties, Zoe and Addison, agree she can Can not bother each other at work unless needed. Zoe and Addison cannot see each other nude. Zoe and Addison can't touch one another Zoe and Addison can't kiss

The following are the dos of the agreement:
They can call each other whenever for whatever, no matter what Help each other out, with advice, clothing dilemma, getting out of a bad date, anything and ask anything Addison will always be there for a ride home. Zoe must and can come to Addisons home after every date to discuss They must see each other as much as possible, and as much as work allows. May only break a DON'T agreement in an emergency Will offer a place to sleep in need. They will be a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen and no judgement Be there as much as needed

The end goal:
Once Addison has made it that Zoe has meet someone she wants to date and or see further on words, they are no longer to be in need of the contract and otherwise each other's company as well as have helped Addison figure out what she wants.
Zoe made most of these.
The two-woman stood in the secret room, that now Zoe knows that Addy was not lying when she said this was just an office. She watched as Addy printed out their contract, she didn't believe this was really about to happen, and this was most definitely the dumbest thing she has ever made anyone do.
"Now, we both sign this page, agreeing to the terms and conditions, and to agree, that if a don't is broken, we are done and when the year is done, we are done and or when we find your someone and fucking hell, helped me." Addy handed the pen to Zoe, and showed her where to sign, Zoe stopped, holding the pen.
"Why are you agreeing to this?"
"Could be fun. Don't you agree?" Zoe bit the inside of her cheek then turned to sign the page, her name was there in bold with the date, Oct 2022 the 22nd to Oct 2023 22nd. She signed and handed the pen to Addy, she did the same then set the pen aside and held her hand out, she wanted Zoe to shake it. They shook hands and then agreed, a year it is.
"And there we go, now we are 'friends'." Zoe rolled her eyes now, she didn't know how this was going to go
"You will grow attached to me, so you will begin to hate that we are friends for a year." Addy gave a thin smile
"I know I should say this as I could possibly be proven wrong but I highly doubt that." Addy smiled, and walked out of the office, waiting for Zoe to follow. Once she locked the door again, she looked at the younger girl.
"Now, are you going home?"
"WHAT?! It's past 11 now, I'm not going to be-
"You would be able to hail a cab if I wasn't letting you sleep in the guest bedroom. Come." She said with a small smirk on her face, as they walked up the stairs, she felt the younger woman stare at her ass as she walked. Once they entered the smallish room, Zoe looked around and smiled.
"It's nice."
"No one sleeps in here other than Gabe when he is too drunk to go home, there are spare or well old clothes of mine in the closet, and old school stuff, don't touch. Find something and goodnight." Addy didn't give the girl a chance to say anything before she just walked out to her own bedroom, which was just down the hall.
Zoe looked around in the closet for something, she saw an old NYU hoodie and some sleeper shorts, she decided that would be the best to sleep in, as she grabbed the hoodie, a photo fell out, she picked it up and saw 4 people, a family.
"This is her mom and dad, and her sister, and Addy looks so…unhappy." Zoe studied to photo before putting it back where she found it and got into bed, she never knew someone to have a bad home life, she had a good life before the accident with her parents happened. Maybe Addy needs a friend to open up about stuff as well as Zoe needs it.
They both have a past they dare not share, secrets, pain, suffering, and they both find comfort in one another and find something in each other that they never thought was real.
