Blanche's POV
Panic twisted in my stomach at the thought of Kaden getting hurt. If something happened to him, Ophelia would pin the blame squarely on me. The idea alone made my blood boil.
Still, tracking down Kaden had to come first.
The moment we stepped through the bar's entrance, the thundering music hit like a physical force, threatening to burst my eardrums.
Bodies writhed on the dance floor, moving in rhythm with the pounding beat.
Zain pushed ahead, creating a barrier between me and the hungry stares surrounding us. I kept my eyes down, staying close behind him.
We reached the VIP section where endless hallways stretched in both directions, doors lining each side. Zain clearly had no idea which room might hold Kaden.
After what felt like forever, I finally broke the silence. "Maybe we should divide up and check both sides?"
Zain nodded. "Sounds smart. Yell if you run into trouble. I'll be there in seconds."
